Error connecting Spring Component to BPEL component

Hi there - I have a Spring component that is a java client to a webservice and when I try to connect my BPEL process to the Spring component I am getting a NoClassDefFound error on a class that is in a jar that is in a separate lib folder. I have added the jar file to my project classpath and get the same error. I then put all of the jar files from the lib folder into the source folder where the client code is and still get the same error. Where is the java2wsdl app looking for these library files??? Any ideas/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Here is the error:
NoClassDefFoundError in o.tip.tools.ide.fabric.api.conversions.InterfaceJava2Wsdl:400
Uncaught exception
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lorg/apache/axis/description/TypeDesc;
Mike

Stupid mistake on my part. When I put all of the referenced jar files in my sca-inf/lib folder, it worked just fine.

    I am unable to edit any of my business components. I get NullPointerExceptions when I try.
    Any clue what's going on here and how to fix it? If I need to re-install, which directories do I need to copy over from the original installation to the new one in order to pick up where I left off (minus the errors, of course! )?
    Thanks for any help!
    Andy

    Pardon the -bump-. I figured I'd give it one more try for feedback before I re-install and transfer all my settings, connections etc.
    Thanks,
    Andy

    Hi Sai,
    Are you using any config plan when  deploying from JDeveloper ? Could you post your composite.xml?

  • Error Rendering JSP Component After Upgrade to SP12

    Hi everyone,
    I have developed an application in SP9 that uses a JSPDynPage Portal Component. The application was working fine before the upgrade.
    After I did my upgrade to SP12, it sometimes gives me the following error: "Error rendering jsp component". And without me doing anything, the problem after a while gets fixed by itself.
    The problem has been on and off now for two days. Any ideas of why this error is happening.

    Hey Dmitry,
    Is this the log you are talking about?

  • Interacting with adapters from Spring Component, especially db adapter

    hello everybody,
    I try to interact with adapters from my Spring component. I actually try to start my query and to receive the result in my Spring Component.
    I've already search for documentation about api to communicate with it or documentation about the classes created during the db adapter creation... But .. no result..
    So I'm trying to do it my self but I encounter some problems when I'm trying to call the query on the dbAdapter and trying to "play" with the classes created by the db adapter.
    Could anyone say me HOW we can interact with adapters from Spring component (in the class bean)?
    Also, how can I access to the variables? Is there an equivalent of "getVariableData" and "setVariableData" that I can use in the Spring Component? with which jar and/or import?
    I copy/paste what I've already done.
    So My Composite contains a Web Service "getStatusByCC" which is linked to a Mediator. The Mediator calls the Spring Component "SprinCallDB" and the Spring Component is linked to a database adapter called "getCreditValidation". The transformation in the mediator component is correct (I test it without the call to the db and it works fine)
    First, there is the classes created and added to my project by the db adapter :
    Creditcardinfo.java
    package com.oracle.xmlns.pcbpel.adapter.db.top.getcreditvalidation;
    import javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlAccessType;
    import javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlAccessorType;

    Any idea is welcome! :)
    If you have great urls to communicate with adapters and variables from spring component, don't hesitate to post it!

    Hello,
    Finally, I can interact with my db adapter.
    But, I ask you the following question : is there any documentation on the manner to interact with adapters and other component of the suite and on all classes generated?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sophie

    does anyone know what I could do to fix this problem??? netbet pro was't available for a while then it's back but has yet to run

    What's netbet pro?
    I'd recommend asking questions about third party applications in the vendor's forum, not a Microsoft forum meant for admin scripting.

    JSP : Tiles Error tag.getAsString : component context is not defined
    Im working with Struts 1.1 and Tiles, under Tomcat 5.0.16
    My application works fine using Struts 1.1 alone, however, when attempting to run the application in a Tiles environment, I get an error:

    javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Error - tag.getAsString : component context is not defined. Check tag syntax

    I have defined this in my tiles-defs.xml file, and as far as I can tell, everything else is configured properly (I have looked over the included Struts document examples, and others on the web, and I seem to have everything configured identically).
    What am I missing???

    I found an entry in the Mail Archive for Struts. I got it working. My working code is below. You need to in the base JSP import the header and put the 'title' out to it.
    tiles:def file:
    <!DOCTYPE tiles-definitions PUBLIC
    "-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Tiles Configuration 1.1//EN"
    "http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/dtds/tiles-config_1_1.dtd">

    <put name="header" value="/common/header.jsp"/>
    <put name="message" value="/common/message.jsp"/>
    <put name="content" value="${content}"/>
    <put name="navbar" value="/common/navbar.jsp"/>
    </definition>
    <definition name="petstore.Login" extends=".petstore.Base" >
    <put name="title" value="Login Page" />
    <put name="content" value="/Logon.jsp"/>
    <put name="test1" value="test1value"/>
    </definition>
    base tile def:
    <%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/struts-tiles.tld" prefix="tiles"%>
    <%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"%>
    <html:html>
    <head>
    <html:base/>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
    <title>pet store common (jsp)</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <tiles:insert attribute="header">
    <%-- both of these attributes are accessible from header.jsp It works!!! --%>
    <tiles:put name="title" beanName="title" beanScope="tile" />
    <tiles:put name="test1" beanName="test1" beanScope="tile" />
    </tiles:insert>
    <%-- <tiles:get name="header" /> --%>
    <tiles:get name="message" />
    <tiles:get name="content" />
    <tiles:get name="navbar" />
    </body>
    </html:html>
    Getting access to the title value in the header.jsp file:

  • Error: Metadata of component EquipmentShipment is not valid!

    Hello all,
    I have created one webdynpro DC -A which has two DCs as used DC- B & C.
    Now everything builds & runs fine on local server. but when I activate DC "A" gives build errors, as it does not get reference for DC -B.
    Here is the error:
    "Error: Metadata of component EquipmentShipment is not valid! "Role "UsedComponent": A minimum of 1 object(s) is required!" "
    This error is only for "B" not "C"
    I tried rebuild, resync, recreate the dependency through public part but no use.
    Could you please help me with this issue?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Sarika.

    Hi Sarika,
    Generally these type of errors occur due to broken DCs. Check DC build for 'B'. You may find more accurate information in the build report. I too faced similar issue once then the problem was some of the RFC changes were not imported. Check whether it is also same case for you.
    If it is a  wd-gen error, try to remove wdgen and gen folders for DC-B and build & try.
    Still you have problem, check this [thread |Re: Local DC problems;whether it can help you.
    Regards,
    Siva

    Hi,
    While trying to edit the XML tag in a .rtf file (Microsoft Word 2010), coming up with the error - "Run time error '429': ActiveX Component Can't create object.
    Any help in resolving this is greatly appreciated.
    Rgds,
    Kiran Panditi

    Remove and reinstall dotnetfiles by running setup.exe located at the following path:
    32 Bit Win 7
    C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles
    64 Bit Win 7
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles
    FYI, BI Publisher Template Builder 10.1.3.4 does require Administrator rights to run.

  • SBO2004A: Runtime Error 429 ActiveX Component can't Create Object

    Hello,
    We have an Addon developed with VB6 that run without problems with SBO 6.5.
    We have upgraded to SBO2004A and I have referenced in the source code to the 2004 UI and DI. I debug mode (from IDE) we don't have problems, but when I try to execute the addon from a client, I get this error message:
    <b>Runtime Error 429 ActiveX Component can't Create Object</b>
    Thanks in advance

    I'm using Installshield 10.5 to generate the setup file. It's much more easy and not requiered to install Framework 1.1 in each PC client before to install the Addon.
    You have to create and msi project, and write the Installscript to retrieve the install directory from parameter string passed by SAP.
    After install you must execute the AddOnInstallAPI.EndInstall to notify SAP:
    #include "ifx.h"
    prototype  LONG AddOnInstallAPI.EndInstall();
    prototype  LONG AddOnInstallAPI.RestartNeeded();
    // OnFirstUIBefore
    // First Install UI Sequence - Before Move Data
    // The OnFirstUIBefore event is called by OnShowUI when the setup is
    // running in first install mode. By default this event displays UI allowing
    // the end user to specify installation parameters.
    // Note: This event will not be called automatically in a
    // program...endprogram style setup.

  • Vbscript runtime error 429 activex component can't create object

    hi i am writing a VB Script where it runs a batch files
    but when the batch file is called from the script its giving error as
    runtime error 429 activex component can't create object
    my script is as follows
    strcmd = "utility.bat"
    Set wshSystemEnv = wshshell.Environment("USER")
    wshshell.Run strcmd
    can some one help me with this ?
    Thank you

    Sorry, your script makes no sense. You never create the object wshshell
    and you never use the object wshSystemEnv. Start the code with
    set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("Wscript.Shell")

  • Runtime Error '429': ActiveX component can't create object

    Hi,
    I am using below code in vb6 application but this is throwing an "Runtime Error '429': ActiveX component can't create object" error.
    CreateObject("OracleInProcServer.XoraSession")
    is that due to any dll or reference error ?
    I have an Oracle client installed on my PC
    please share your solution
    Thanks in advance

    Are either of those 64 bit? If so, your problem is likely related to that.
    A 64 bit Oracle client doesn't support OO4O at all, so this code will never work with that client. You need to use a 32 bit one.
    If you are using a 32 bit client but on a 64 bit OS, I've found the 11.2.03 installer doesn't properly register the files. Manually registering OraOleDB11.dll may fix it, though we had to do some other registry stuff and it got very ugly. Backing up to a slightly older client should also fix the problem.

  • Workspace : Unexpected error during interactive component execution

    Hi !
    During execution, we have random events where this error appears. It appears for different field names and objects. The error code is displayed in the workspace and this is an excerpt of the workspace log.
    We have 2 workspaces using websphere. We noticed that in the past, a few times this was solved by synchronizing the nodes. I does not get fixed like that anymore.
    Any clues? this same deployed application worked in the past, it was not updated.
    THANKS,

    Just guessing here, but I'd suspect that you have a BPM Object that you are using in your screenflow. Inside your BPM Object you probably have a method that makes the database call. I'm assuming that you might be using Dynamic SQL in your method.
    If this is the case then make sure that this method has the property set to "Server Side".

  • Service Manager "Error communicating with component" after moving SQL servers

    We just moved our SCCM database to a new SQL server and ever since, I've been getting stumped as to why I'm getting the following error each time I try to query the status of anything under the SQL server:
    Error communicating with component
    Admittedly, I'm a total novice when it comes to SCCM and I was doing this under the loose supervision of my predecessor (this is his last week).  I appreciate anyone offering any advice as to where I should start, and I apologize I'm not knowledgeable
    enough yet to know exactly what info to provide you with initially!
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick replies!
    @Peter: Currently using SCCM 2012 R2 running on a 2008 server,  with the database having moved from SQL 2010 to 2012.  We have a single primary site with 5 additional distribution points supporting around 260 users.
    We did only change our SQL server and the guide you posted is the exact one we used.  Everything seemed to look exactly like the guide.  Afterwards, when checking the Configuration Manager Server Manager, under Servers, it had my SCCM server and
    new SQL server both listed.  The components listed under my SQL server were as follows:
    SMS_COMPONENT_MONITOR
    SMS_EXECUTIVE
    SMS_MP_FILE_DISPATCH_MANAGER
    SMS_OUTBOX_MONITOR
    SMS_SITE_SQL_BACKUP_SCCM01
    SMS-SRS_REPORTING_POINT
    However, when we query those components, we get "Error communicating with component" on all of them except SMS_SITE_SQL_BACKUP_SCCM01.  I'm slightly suspicious of our certificates but I'm not well-versed enough with them to troubleshoot effectively
    on my own.
