My program encrypts properly, but while decrypting I get this error:

Below is the test harness I wrapped round your code and for me it works without the errors you say you get!

  • XML Publisher errors out with java.lang.IndexArrayOutofBounds 5 =5 when out

    Hi Everyone,
I have a particular report which has some dynamic columns involved.
On certain cases (more than 5 dynamic columns) when the report is run with output as PDF it gives out an error java.lang.IndexArrayOutofBounds 5>=5 (where the number differs for each case)
But for the same data when i use output type as HTML or EXCEL the output is coming out to be fine.
<?for-each-group@column: G_TRADING_PARTNER_NAME3;BID_NUMBER2?> for the column header of the dynamic columns
    <?for-each-group@cell:G_TRADING_PARTNER_NAME3;BID_NUMBER2?> for the column data
My version of XMLP is 5.6.0
    and apps version is 11.5.10.2
Is there anything that needs to be changed for the PDF output ?
Kindly let me know in case your have come across such issues.
    Thanks
    Anoop

Glad you have sorted this - note that the fnd_concurrent_requests table has the fields pp_Start_date and pp_end_date which will show how long post processing is taking.
Good to a good idea to monitor this in relation to the setting you have made in the profile option Concurrent:OPP Timeout profile option though 3 hours should cover most things!!!!

  • Error Compiling With java.mail.Session class

    Hi,
The Java compiler issues an error message (below) during compilation of the following line:
    Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance( fMailServerConfig, null );
    The error message is:
    bad class file: c:\j2ee_sdk\lib\j2ee.jar(javax/mail/Session.class)
class file has wrong version 48.0, should be 47.0
Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath.
    javax.mail.Session session = javax.mail.Session.getDefaultInstance( fMailServerConfig, null );
I have tried switching between JDKs by changing the JAVA_HOME environment variable between JDKs 1.3.x to 1.4.x to 1.5.x and also to the JDK installed with the 2005 Q1 J2EE installation that I am using.
Any ideas on how to resolve this problem? And help would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks!!!
    Stuart Hoffman

in Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance( fMailServerConfig, null ); pass the object of properties class instead of mailServerconfig
    now your problem are solved

  • Connection error -2147217387 with Java RAS SDK and Crystal Server 2011

Due to a change in operating system, we are required to upgrade our Crystal Reports server from BusinessObjects Crystal Reports Server 11.5 to SAP Crystal Server 2011. We use the Java RAS SDK (RASCore 9.2.2.446 / RASApp 9.0) more or less as described in Java RAS2008-unmanaged exportreport. We use the Crystal Server to export reports stored on disk as PDF files.
In SAP Crystal Server 2011, the CrystalReports2011ReportApplicationServer is configured with Request Port 1566 and Host Identifier 172.16.4.154 (the local machine). The Crystal Server, report-definition files, and Java VM are all on the same machine.

    A)
    1)update FND_CP_SERVICES set DEVELOPER_PARAMETERS =

    where SERVICE_ID = (select MANAGER_TYPE from FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES
    where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME = 'FNDCPOPP');
2)As XML Publisher Administrator navigate to Administration->Configuration.
Under Temporary Directory pick a temporary file location on your concurrent processing node. This should be at least 5GB or 20x larger than largest XML data file you generate
    Under FO Processing, set:
Use XML Publisher's XSLT processor set to True
Enable scalable feature of XSLT processor set to False (see #4 below),
Enable XSLT runtime optimization set to True
3)We also have tried to to apply the workaround mentioned in the document 747750.1
In to Concurrent -> Program -> Define, in the 'Executable' group, there is a field named 'Options'.
Enter the value '-ms1024m -mx1024m' as the value for this field.
None of these seem to have worked.
Also refered to the the previous forum entries on these. But did not find anything specific to EBS. Most of them were related to Standalone installations.
    CAn anyone help me.

I know its too late to answer your query... but just thought if not you there might be other people who may search solution for the same error.
Java 1.3 does not contains these packages... these are included in java 1.4 on wards.
If you want to do some encryption / decryption with java 1.3 i can provide you a link that might be of some help.

    Hi,
    Thanks to all who replied.
    I solved the problem.
I was calling the java method from XSLT without passing any arguement.
I realised that the java methods called from XSLT should always have input parameter. So i changed the javamethod call from
public static String getCurrentRecNo() to public static String getCurrentRecNo(Object test)
    and it worked.
Can anybody explain me why java methods called from XSLT should always have an input arguement.
    Thanks
    Mona

You have you references and dependecies wrong. Very few, if any of us, are clairvoyant.
If you really want to to get help; and there is someone who feels they want to help and has the requisite understanding... you need to provide a proper and complete explanation of your dependencies and setup.
You need to get your references right and dependencies right.

I Navigated to owb_home/owb/bin/admin; Edited the file jdbcdriver.properties; Replaced driver=thin with driver=oci and Restarted the reposinst. But I did not work.

    Any another idea?

  • How to deal with java.io.EOFException error in Java application?

Recently a java application called Jin stopped working on my iMac under 10.6.8. On startup it gives a java.io.EOFException error. When I boot from a full backup on external hard disk, the program still works fine. It has run without problem for at least two years.
This program logs onto an online chess community called ICC (see chessclub.com) using a non-http protocol.
I have tried everything I can think of to repair the problem, including:
-- Reinstalling both Jin and Java
-- Playing with Java Preferences, in particular trying both 32-bit and 64-bit versions
-- Discarding a couple .plist files associated with Java and Jin
    -- Repairing permissions
-- Replacing /usr/share/java/Tools with version from backup disk (I created a Smart Folder to find files recently changes, and these were the only java files that came up
I've run out of ideas. It seems to me that some obscure Java support file has been corrupted, but I have no idea what or where.
Is it a good idea to replace the entire /Library folder from backup, or is that going to cause a problem?
I have a very bad feeling about replacing /System from backup.

  • New @ RMI need help with  java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling

    Hi @ all out there,
I'm new with Java RMI and have to write a EventSystem for an college project where clients can subscribe to a topic and get notified when someone publishes a message to the subscribed topic.
At server-side I have a class called EventSystem that provides methods for subscribing and unsubscribing from topics, and also for posting messages (for publishers).
To subscribe i thought that the client must specify the topic and also itself ( means that a client calls in this way: obj.subscribe("mytopic", this).
The EventSystem handles a list of all clients, and whenever a new message is posted it goes trough all clients and invokes the handleMessage(String msg) method that all Clients have to provide.
On my local machine without RMi this concept works just great.
I now tried to get it working using RMI , but I get the following Exception when starting the client (the server starts fine) :

So how can i do this? I've never used serialization till now.
any ideas how to solve this problem?
greets from italy and sorry for my very weak english
