Error deploying Jclient with oc4j using webstart with oracle lite

I have included almost all the files that I found in any documentation.
configured data sourses doe oc4j, put the oralite40.jar in lib directory of oc4j but still getting this error when I start the deployed application

can any one help me

I am also getting the same error when trying to test the jspx from JDev. I created an EO, VO and Application Module connecting to MS SQL server 2000 database. I created the Database using JDBC-ODBC bridge and was able to access the tables successfully. When testing the Application Module from the BC browser i am able to navigate between the records of the EO/VO successfully. I included this VO as a Read Only table in one of my jspx page and when trying to test the jspx page i get the same error.
Please help and let me know what i am missing.

1) get Tomcat 3.3 for linux or nt with Apache module mod_jk
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat/release/v3.3/bin/
2) add mod_jk module to httpd.conf (9ias) and comment all mod_jserv, dms, oproc, ojsp ....
LoadModule jk_module libexec/mod_jk.so
Include mod_jk.conf
3) edit mod_jk.conf
JkMount /*.jsp ajp13
JkMount /servlet/* ajp13 JkMount /servlets/* ajp13

3) edit workers.properties

Thanks for the tip Mathias, it's always good to see people trying out experimental things with the products.
We're providing a new module (mod_oc4j) with our Oracle9iAS Release2 product to do this directly from the Oracle HTTP Server (Apache). We've re-written bits and pieces of the module to improve it's performance. Likewise, we've also integrated mod_oc4j with our HA story so it will be notified when new OC4J instances are brought online or if existing ones go down, enabling it to actively route requests around the available OC4J instances.

Hi,
Usually I separate page layout and publishing page into two different modules. Then you deploy first the page layout module to ensure that SP will create the aspx file. After that the second module lets SP to apply the existing page layout to your publishing
page.
It's just an idea. I am not 100% sure. Let me know.

From Forms Product Management - Using WebStart with Forms

I noticed a number of posts on this forum asking if you can run Forms as an application (using WebStart) rather than an applet in a browser.
I would be interested to know the reasons why people want to do this. Is it so that there is no browser windows? Is it because it has more of a "desktop feel"...
I would be interested to hear any of your reasons.

I don't think you'll get too many replies. I expect most people here are either committed to using Web Forms already (and so don't need this functionality) or else are still in client-server mode (and so don't understand what you asking).
We are just in the process of migrating from Forms4.5 to 9i (I'm in the WebUtil beta) and we are still finding out all sorts of non-obvious things about web-deployment - don't get me started on how awful the whole GIF thing is! So I'm not really qualified to have an opinion about Webstart. I only have the vaguest idea what it does and I'm not sure I want to read up about it just so I can tell you whether to go ahead with it.
What I will say is this:
(1) Anything that makes 9i Forms more like a client-server experience for the users would be a good thing, bceause it would minimise the shock of transition.
(2) Choice is a good thing. Your recent experience of developers' spleen over the removal of client-server should tell you that people respond well to being given options and badly to having them removed.
(3) If I've correctly understood Haris Peco in their second point we could get rid of O9iAS and that would be flipping marvellous for everybody (except possibly the VP in charge of O9iAS Sales :P).

Searching the 9.2 doc set turns up a reference. Looks like you are trying to use an option that isn't available in your version of Oracle.

Error deploying to standalone OC4J app server

Hey all,
I created a web app with jdeveloper 10.1.3.3 using OC4J 10.1.3.3 as well. I'm using EJB and session beans to communicate with a database. nothing particularly fancy about it, i just read tables from the db. however, when i try and deploy through jdev to the standalone OC4J i get an error. here's the last part of the deployment log when it fails:

The only thing in my Persistence.xml file is the <persistence-unit> tag with name "WD_WORK", and in that a <jta-data-source> tag.
Also, it runs fine on the local embedded server, it's only when i try and deploy that it gives this error. I even deployed my app to an EAR file and tried uploading it manually to the app server, still same error.

If you have a model project that has objects referenced by the view controller/UI project then you need to explicitly include them in the deployment. Unlike in embedded OC4J they wont be automatically included.
Create an ADF library deployment profile in the model project and include the generated library in your UI project war file. You can add this jar to the project Libraries/Classpath then make sure it is included in the WEB-INF/lib Contributors list.

Error Deploying EJB on OC4J

I am trying to deploy through 9iJDeveloper(Release 2) which has been loaded on the same machine on which 9ias server is running. The deployment is successful in the embedded OC4J(JDevloper) but the same is not happening in 9ias OC4J and the errors are mentioned hereunder.

Hi Ram,
You need to use JDk 1.3.1 (and not JDK 1.4.0) with OC4J.
This issue has been discussed on this forum many times previously.
Did you try searching the forum archives before posting your question?
Several of those postings describe possible work-arounds.

Hi,
please try this with the embedded OC4J that you can start as stand alone server. If you use the OC4J isntance you download from OTN then you get one of version TP1, which is probably not working well with the changes in JDeveloper 11 TP3

Error deploying app to 10g 1.3 with SQLServer drivers...

I developed a web application using JDeveloper 10.1.3 using Microsofts SQL Drivers to access SQLServer databases. The defined data sources work fine under the built in OC4j in Jedeveloper (10.1.3). The problem I encounter is when I try to deploy it to the llive server. It is encountering an error when trying to define the data sources. The error follows:

i think you only want to add the Sql deriver jars to the library of the OC4J and this can be done as follow
In a text editor, edit the application.xml file in <OracleHome>/j2ee/home/config/.
Add <library> tags pointing to msbase.jar , msutil.jar, and mssqlserever.jar The syntax is <library path="<path>">
For example, if you used the default installation path, you would add the following tags to the application.xml file:

IBFBS failed to deploy in Embedde OC4J but works with EAR deploy.

an error saying "there is no EJB module to deploy".
But when i deployed through EAR deployment method its working fine.

Can you pls post the Version of JDeveloper and OC4J that you are using?
I tried to deploy IBFBS using JDeveloper 9.0.3.988 (JDK 1.3.1) on Standalone OC4J server (9.0.3) and it works fine.
One constraint for not running the application from JDeveloper (by using embedded OC4J) is that, the OC4J where the FBS is deployed needs to have the -userThreads option enabled.
This option is enabled by starting OC4J with -userThreads option.
java -jar oc4j.jar -userThreadsRef : Connection to embedded OC4J per FBS Setup Tutorial-Problem.
Let us know if your problem still persists.

Error while uploading Bank Statement using FF_5 with Multi Cash Option

Hi
I am trying to upload the Bank Statement in FF_5 screen with Multicash (MC) option and am facing the information message that Account XXXX YYYY EUR : Statement 201100059 is not in the bank data storage. This is for the Germany Country Company Codes.
Here XXXX is the Bank Key and YYYY is the Bank Account Number defined in the House Bank configuration (FI12) for our Company Code ABC in Germany. However, when I double click the information, I get the following error message :
No EUR House Bank Account AAAA / BBBB exists (message can be customised). But the AAAA is the House Bank and BBBB is the Bank Account Number in our other Germany Company Code XYZ.
This has become a go-live stopper scheduled in the next two days. Can someone guide me and help me in overcoming this problem.
Also, let me know in case it has anything to do with the Define Search String for Electronic Bank Statement ? If so, please help me in configuring the same.

No, the issue is not search string related. Search strings are only related to transactions and not run until the transactions are processed. The program has to validate the bank accounts before it can process any transactions. Based on the error messages, the program isn't able to validate the bank accounts.
What is the message number? Are you saying that the short text is referencing one bank account and the long text references a different bank account? Does either account ID in FI12 have the alternate account field filled in? If the alternate account field is filled, FF_5 will use that instead of the account number in determining the house bank/acct ID.

Error deploying BC4J to OC4J as EJB.

In order to understand better the correct deploying procedure I created a small scott/tiger BC4J project.
Then I created an EJB deploy using the wizard and deployed it to a fresh O4JC install.
During deploy I receive an "error loading class ....DatabaseModuleServer" where DatabaseModule is the name of my ApplicationModule .
I used only wizards, what did I miss ?

Error deploying in Studio when using 2 data sources

I have built a cube using multiple datasources in Essbase Studio. The sources are Oracle database and EPMA dimension server. When I deploy the cube, I receive the following error. However, when I deploy using one source and specify DSN, it works. It is giving me these error when the option is ODBC (Essbase dynamically creates ODBC connection string) which I can't control when there are two sources. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Failed to deploy Essbase cube.
Caused by: Failed to build Essbase cube dimension: (Account) .
Caused by: Cannot get async process state. Essbase Error(1021001): Failed to Establish Connection With SQL Database Server. See log for more information

The other error I spoke of was fixed with the new database, so apparently the two errors I spoke of weren't related.
