Error displaying XMLTYPES with 3.2

When I look at the data of a table with binary xmltype, the content of the xmlytpe is displayed with 'oracle.xdb.XMLType@...'
On the logging page I get:
SEVERE 485 16 oracle.dbtools.raptor.controls.grid.ResultSetTableCellRenderer oracle.xdb.XMLType.pickleXMLTypeNative(Native Method)
The same table works fine with sqldeveloper 3.1.0.7
Is there something wrong on my side?

It seems that you have found a bug in the Collab portlets when using the "es" locale. I tested several other locales, including english and french and everything worked properly. I suggest you contact Oracle Support and report the issue so that an official patch can be created for you. However, until then, you can make a simple workaround on your own.
In OEPE/Eclipse:
1) go to the Merged Projects View
2) expand your web project to <web project>/WEB-INF/src/portlets/collaboration/common/provider
3) right click on CollabDelegate.java and select "Copy to Project"
4) open up CollabDelegate.java for edit and go to the convertDatePattern method
5) comment out the line: "sPattern = sPattern.replaceAll("'", "");"
6) republish your project
This should resolve the exception. Note that this class which you're modifying is used by several other portlets, including the Discussion, Email, Contacts and Calendar portlets. I did a quick test of the above workaround with the Task, Discussion and Calendar portlets and there did not seem to be any ill side affects.

It means there is a problem with the sites security certificate.
There should be a "Continue to this website (not recommended)" message. I would not recommend doing that unless it is a site you know and trust.
In IE10 you can not disable that feature.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

PL/SQL Version 10.1.0.4.2 (Production)I've the following requirements.
In my form, there are three text items and one save button.
Text items named as
No_of_days --> Number data type
(user will enter number of days)
hours_limit --> Char data type with format mask (HH:MI);
(user will enter hours with minutes)
Upto_date_time --> date data type;
this field calculated as (No_of_days+hours_limit+sysdate)
User will enter No_of_days or hours_limit:
Based on the values I've to calculate Upto_date_time
Here is the problem:
1) If user doesn't enter hours_limit I want to show default time as " 04:00 PM"
2) If user enter hours_limit field we should allow them to enter in the following format
"HH24:MI" format;
what whould be suitable data type for hours_limit field..
I tried with char and i've set the format mask as ,
set_item_property('BLOCK3.hours_limit',format_mask,'HH:MI');
But I'm geeting the error
"FRM-50027:Invalid format mask for given datatype"

Format mast is only allowed to date data type fields.If i set the hours_limit item's data type as date , I'm getting the error message "ORA-01843:Not a valid month"..
How could i make this field only getting or display time with minutes?

Error in communicating with DCR server (Operations Manager 8.5)

Hi,
I just installed Operations Manager 8.5 on a new server. And, although I'm able to login to the OM, I'm unable to add any devices to the DCR. When attempting to add the device the following error is returned:
"Error in communicating with DCR Server
DCR Server may be down. Please start DCR server and then refresh the page. "
The same error is returned when an attempt is made toaccess the screen to change the mode (standalone/master/slave.) However, according to pdshow output DCRServer is up and running:
Process= DCRServer
State = Running normally
Pid    = 9220
RC     = 0
Signo = 0
Start = 7/29/2011 2:46:33 PM
Stop   = Not applicable
Core   = Not applicable
Info   = DCRServer is up and running
I've browsed the site and tried all suggestions for LMS since I didn't see any for OM. No success.
Any/all suggestions are much appreciated.

It appears the answer is rather simple. According to a trusted source who works for a Cisco training partner, one must wait before even attempting a login into OM.
Apparently, it takes about 25 to 30 minutes for all the services to start. Any attempt to login to the OM may corrupt the database. This is based on CiscoWorks. When command "net stop crmdmgtd" is issued it takes about 5 minutes to stop the service and a confirmaiton that the service was stopped is displayed. However, when starting the service with "net start crmdmgtd" there is no confirmation that it started successfully. One may look into ":\ program Files\CSCOpx\objects\dmgt\ready" directory for a _lock file." As long as the lock file is present one shouldn't use the browser to login. However, I was advised the best approach is to restart the service and give it 30 minutes.

I created portlet from content server announcement portlet template.Whet put on the page this portlet shows the following error message:

Same error with portlet created from the news template.

If the link exists in TOA01, why is the dosumnet not visible ? When i use the Function Module ARCHIVOBJECT_DISPLAY, i get the error -

Preview displays pdfs with distorted colours and thin white line on the border

Preview Version 7.0 (826.4) on 10.9.5 displays pdfs with cmyk images in it in distorted colours and thin white line on the border of the page despite in the original .indd file the image runs into bleed. The display errors aren't present in acrobat reader 10.1.12 or acrobat pro 9.3.4. Any idea? Thanks

Logic is the APPlication (program, app) that you are having the problem with.
Logic Pro can take advantage of other computers on your local (home or work) network to help it do "heavy lifting" data chores by using Bonjour and a feature called Nodes. It seems that Logic is attempting to find and connect to another machine on your network.
Do you have Logic installed on another computer there? That may be the source of the confilict.
You might want to post this question in the Logic Pro Community.
Be sure to indicate the version of Logic Pro that you are using. I'm sure the folks there can help you out.

Error displaying host configuration

I'm running version 10.2.0.1 of OEM on a Windows 2003 advanced server and I get
the following error message when trying to view the charts for my cpu target: "Error displaying host configuration - Host Configuration"
I also get the following error message:
"Error getting data from the repository for target txsna09egssrv03.ITServices..... Exception: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20206: ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.EMD_MNTR_HOST", line 243 ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 1"

I am also getting the same error, when i click host under general section of oem database control's homepage, but on the homepage itself, i have an alert under the secion RELATED ALERTS.
That alert says "Memory Utilization is 99.77%" and when i click that, it is showing me the host configuration and i can monitor the host.
why is the host link on the homepage gives an error whereas i can monitor the host through the related alerts.
i have oracle 10g database server and have client running on rhel4.

I have table with a column of XMLType and it's related with a xmlschema registered in the db.I'm working with oracle 10g.

FS10N Not display document with double click

Not display document with double click
I am in the list of open items in transaction FS10N and when a wont to see a document by doing a double click in the line, instead of showing the document it shows the data of the line.
Does anybody know the reason behind it? How can I resolve it?

There could be two reasons:
1. The account would not have been maintained with line item display.
2. In case if the account has been created with line item display, then still you are not able to get the drill down (meaning that you are able to get the line items in FBL3N), in that case, immediately once you get the error, go to transaction code SU53. It will tell you the authorizations you are missing. You can forward that screen shot to your authorization team and they will give your proper authorization for drill down.

If error display is on in php.ini, can anything from "/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf" affect this option so errors won't be shown?

Yes, with PHP as Apache module, a directive like:
php_admin_flag display_errors off
can or, eventually:
php_admin_value error_reporting <number>
But these shouldn't be used.

Runtime Error displayed when attempting to access Forums

I've IE 9 installed on a Windows Home Premium box. When I attempt to access the Technet Forums the following is displayed
Server Error in '/Forums' Application.
