Error during mapping service, RFC-XI-File Adapter

Hello,
  I have the following problem: I am using RFC to send some data to XI and then to File Adapter, however I get a short dump with "5990 Error during mapping service in XI". Even though mappings works, I tested using the document that comes in XI in Repository without any errors.
       What does this error means and is there any way to get more detailed explanation of my error. Thank you in advance for your help,

    Hello,
    My XI 2.0 scenario :
    Flat file => File adapter => XI => IDoc adapter => SAP 4.7

    Hi Homiar,
    Need a little more detail.
    The directory points to the interface mapping.
    The Interface mapping points to the message mapping.
    What type of message mapping are you using?
    - Graphical mapping.
    - XSLT.
    - Java.
    - Abap.
    The main problem is "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException"
    Do other mappings work in your system?

    what is the requirement/delimitor and the data format requested by the Receiver system.
    i just passind data from R3 RFC to XI,so sujjest what is needded in receiver file adapter.

  • VLD-1141: Internal error during mapping generation.

    I am getting the "VLD-1141: Internal error during mapping generation" error when deploying a mapping. This mapping was previously working fine. As part of a re-factoring effort, for all the underlying tables and views, we replace 2 existing columns with a new column. All the objects were successfully re-imported and synchronized in the mapping. The mapping is using Mapping Input Parameter, Lookups, Expression Transformations, Splitter, Set Operator, Source & Target Tables. All these transformation were part of the earlier working version of the mapping.
    On doing validation within the mapping, I get a success message followed by 4 warning for the Lookup Condition on key Lookup does not contain a complete unique key. Before the re-factoring effort, I was getting the same 4 warning messages, however the mapping was executing correctly.
    When I do Generate within the mapping, I get the following message:
    Code cannot be generated.
    Click the message tab for details.
    In the Design Center, when I do a validation on the mapping I get the following error:

    Hi,
    I think your mapping is corrupted by converting two columns to one. The owb has always a problem if you change the structure of a table which is bound to a table operator. The way to avoid this is to drop the table operator after changing the table in the table editor and recreate it with the changed table definition.
    Make a test: select the new attribut in the table operator and look left on the configuration window. To which table and attribute it's bound?

  • Error during variable substitution: idoc to file

    Hi Friends,

    Iam getting the following error.
    Attempt to process file failed with com.sap.aii.adapter.file.configuration.DynamicConfigurationException: Error during variable substitution: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.varsubst.VariableDataSourceException: The following variable was not found in the message payload: date_processing
    Could you please tell me waht could be the reason for the same?
    as per my analysis, I observed that the field date_processing has been declared

    Hi Sandeep ,
    If the variable ’date_processing’ refers to an element in XML schema, Please check  if you have added  the prefix payload: to the information under Reference.
    The reference then comprises a pseudo path description in the form of a comma-separated list with the schema namea,na,nameb,nb,....
                Where namea,nameb,... corresponds to the element name and na,nb,... corresponds to the occurrence of the element name at the respective level in the document.
    The description begins at the root of the document and ends at the respective element.
    Also please check

  • OWB 11.2 internal error during mapping generation

    Dear all,
    Ever since switching to OWB 11.2 I have been sporadically receiving unexplicable errors during mapping deployment. It only happens when I generate more than 1 mapping simultaneously, and it appears to be completely random. One or more mappings will fail during the generation phase of the deployment with an 'internal error', after which I get the option to continue deployment of those mappings that did generate correctly. What I usually do next is trying to deploy the failed mappings again, which always works - the internal error does not reoccur. But it seems to be that this second generation does not work properly either.
    For example, today I had to redeploy my entire set of mappings, due to a server change. Of the 60 mappings I had, about 5 failed with the forementioned error. (Sadly I can't include the exact error here since the job logs in the control center do not record this failure to generate, it looks like the failed mappings never were included in the job in the first place.) One of them I deployed aftewards, and found the query in the pacakge to look like:
        INSERT
        /*+ APPEND  */
        INTO
          "SA_BETMD_01" "SA_BETMD_01"
          ("DEWNKNR",
          "DEBTMCE",
          "DEBTMOM",
          "DEBTMO2",
          "DEBTMO3")
          (SELECT
    /*+ NO_MERGE */
    /* DRBETMD_RS.INOUTGRP1 */
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEWNKNR" "DEWNKNR",
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMCE" "DEBTMCE",
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM" "DEBTMOM",
      NVL("DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMO2", "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM")/* ATTRIBUTE NVL_BTMO2.OGRP.DEBTMO2: EXPRESSION */ "DEBTMO2",
      NVL("DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMO3", "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM")/* ATTRIBUTE NVL_BTMO3.OGRP.DEBTMO3: EXPRESSION */ "DEBTMO3"
    FROM
      "SRC"."DRBETMD_RS"@"SRCDBP@SAFE_SRC_PRD_RET"  "DRBETMD_RS"
        ;However, generating the preview code in OWB results in a more correct and complete version of the code:
        INSERT
        /*+ APPEND  */
        INTO
          "SA_BETMD_01" "SA_BETMD_01"
          ("DEWNKNR",
          "DEBTMCE",
          "DEBTMOM",
          "DEBTMO2",
          "DEBTMO3",
          "DEBTMO4")
          (SELECT
    /*+ NO_MERGE */
    /* DRBETMD_RS.INOUTGRP1 */
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEWNKNR" "DEWNKNR",
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMCE" "DEBTMCE",
      "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM" "DEBTMOM",
      NVL("DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMO2", "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM")/* ATTRIBUTE NVL_BTMO2.OGRP.DEBTMO2: EXPRESSION */ "DEBTMO2",
      NVL("DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMO3", "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM")/* ATTRIBUTE NVL_BTMO3.OGRP.DEBTMO3: EXPRESSION */ "DEBTMO3",
      NVL("DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMO4", "DRBETMD_RS"."DEBTMOM")/* ATTRIBUTE NVL_BTMO4.OGRP.DEBTMO4: EXPRESSION */ "DEBTMO4"
    FROM
      "SRC"."DRBETMD_RS"@"SRCDBP@SAFE_DGN_PRD_RET"  "DRBETMD_RS"
        ;The same goes for other packages, all of which crash due trying to insert NULL values in a mandatory column! (In case, DEBTMO4.)
    Funny enough, if I generate the mapping again a bit later - without making any changes to the mapping - the code is complete and everything works properly.
    Does anyone else ever had this problem? My main problem is that I can't just reproduce this problem, so I can't exactly report it as a bug and expect it to be solved...
    Kind regards,
    Kurt Geens

    Good morning Dave,
    I do mean during deployment. As you probably know all too well, the deployment of a package is split in two parts: generation of the code, and the actual deployment. The internal error occurs during that first part - the generation of code. The exact steps I went through when the error occured are the following:
    1) I selected about 15 mappings, and chose to 'replace' these mappings in the database. The code was generated, with 4 mappings having the forementioned 'internal error'. After pressing the play button the deployment of the 11 remaining packages continued without problem.
    2) Within the same session, I selected the 4 failed mappings, and chose to 'replace' these again. The generation and deployment was succesful - no internal errors occured.
    3) I exited OWB and started a daily workflow process. One of the mappings that had an internal error in step 1 crashed with a 'cannot insert null into' error.
    4) I restarted OWB, opened the mapping, chose to generate the code, and compared the generation result with the package code in the database. This resulted in the difference mentioned in my original mail.
    5) I deployed (replace) the mapping once more, and verified the code in the database. This time the code was complete (no missing column).
    Regards,
    Kurt

  • How do I map a drive for file adapter

    I am using a File adapter in XI, and would like to read files from a different server.
    In the file adapter, there is no place for a username/password, so I need to map a drive first, then use the drive letter in the file adapter.
    eg Source Directory = G:\FTP-Data\sapgms\GMSToXI
    On the source server (call it DATASERVER), there is a local user created with rights to the appropriate data directory.
    I can logon to the XI server as the XI user (eg xidadm) and map a drive, entering username of DATASERVER\username, put in password, and  marking as "Reconnect at logon"
    The problem is that when logging back in, the system prompts for the password.  This is no good for the XI application service.
    A NET USE command in the startup directory works when I log on myself (eg net use Z:
    dataserver1\CorpData /USER:dataserver1\xid_user password1) , but still does not make the drive available for the XI application.
    The XI user (eg xidadm) is local to the XI server, so cannot be given access on the data server.
    I have been using FTP successfully, but have suddenly found that the administrators do not want FTP running on the production data server...
    So my question is:
    is there any place I can map a drive with a specified username/password, and make that drive available to the file adapter in XI?
    Thanks
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
    We are trying to configure similar scenario using Sender File (NFS) adapter from SAP server directory to XI.
    We have done the following steps:
    1) Map the SAP drive (
    SERVER\interface\ACH) <b>in XI system</b> windows explorer. It created an entry "Ach on SERVER\interface" and I can see all files in SAP directory from XI.
    2) Created SAPServiceXID user <b>in SAP system</b> with the same password as in XI.
    We tried all source directory names, but in Adapter Monitoring we still get error saying that Directory doesn't exist.
    What is the sharename in the directory you mentioned?? (In
    servername\sharename\path)
    In our SAP system (SERVER) files are under following directory d:\interface\ACH and in XI we mapped it under G drive which shows as "Ach on SERVER\interface"
    Are we missing anything here??
    Hi Wouter,
    Did you guys make this thing work?? We are having the same problem. If you figured it out..please let me know.

  • File to RFC want to delay rfc or file adapter

    Hi,
    I’ve got a problem with my file to RFC scenario.
    XI picks up a file and puts it to an archive directory.
    Then it makes a synchoon call to a RFC. Quality of Service is Best Effort
    The problem is, that the function module does not execute properly, because it can not find the file, so the RFC acts to quick.
    When I change the quality of service to Exactly One or Exactly One in Order it works properly but in that cause I can not see my return message in the payload from SXMB_MONI.
    I guess it is not possible to delay the RFC with the help of additional parameters. The only way to handle this I think is to build a wait function into the function module but my opinion, that's not a correct solution.
    Any expert an idea?
    Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Hi,
    File adapter doesnot support Sychronous. It only supports Asynchronous. Even you specify as synchrounous it acts like asynchronous only. So that is the reason why you are not seeing the response message in SXMB_MONI.

  • Converting .XSL file to RFC using File Adapter

    Hi,
    I need to convert .xsl file using XI and send an RFC. I am not sure how to do that. Do i need to write some JAVA API's for the same. Is File adapter capable of converting .xsl files.
    Any pointers are most welcome.

    Regards,

    HI,
    try in the following ways
    Write a simple XSLT mapping or java mapping to change the value of the attribute "encoding" to "ISO-8859-1" in the output XML of message mapping . Include this XSLT or Java map as the second mapping step in your interface mapping.
    An example of the XSL code might be as follow:
    <?xml version='1.0'?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

  • Unexpected error during mapping execution

    Hello,
    we are implementing business intelligence for Siebel 8.1. Having one strange issue and hoping anybody could help us out.
    We are using OWB 10.2.0.1. Certain error appears during mapping execution LOAD_SR which basically loads service requests from Siebel DB to data warehouse.
    The mapping is using two tables as input (S_SRV_REQ and S_SRV_REQ_X) which are joined by S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+) using Joiner operator, because I always need extension table (S_SRV_REQ_X) rows either filled either containing only nulls (when there is no corresponding extension row). Sadly, this does not work, during execution it generates:
    Error:
    ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype
    ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 32
    ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 3507
    ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 4553
    ORA-06512: at "DWH_ADM.LOAD_SR", line 9984
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Warning:
    ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype
    In summary, these join conditions generate same error as above:
    S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+)
    S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID (+) = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID (+)
    S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID
    Strangely, when I use join condition S_SRV_REQ.ROW_ID (+) = S_SRV_REQ_X.PAR_ROW_ID, it works. But then right join is used and some records get rejected by joiner operation (those who do not have corresponding rows in extension table).
    Could someone help me with this issue?
    Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time reading this!

  • DB Mutex Error with Outbound operation using Normal File adapter in HA env

    Hi All,
    I Have a simple process which picks data from a weblogic jms queue and writes it to a file. Each day this task is carried out once in a day and it writes approx 30k records to the file. the process is made singleton (singleton property on inbound JMS adapter) and used the HA file adapter to write to the file. This setup gave rise to lot of DB Mutex errors. To avoid the DB mutex issue i pointed the file adapter to use the Normal file adapter connection factory instead of the HA File adapter one used earlier. The surprising thing is even this gave rise to DB mutex errors.
    1. Am i missing something here,according to my understanding using a normal file adapter conn factory even in a HA environment should not be creating multiple locks on the file write.
    2. Can i change the standard DS used in the file adapter to a custom DS? will that solve the problem?
    I hope the scenario is clear. Following is the error extract seen at the process and log level
    Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Write' failed due to: Unable to acquire mutex for interaction. Unable to acquire mutex for interaction. Unable to acquire lock on resource for "DatabaseMutex::acquireNoSave". ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
    Thanks
    Nikhil

    We are getting the same error in 11.1.1.5 PS4 version also.Can you post the content of your .jca file here?

  • Got compilation error about 'create instance activity' using file adapter

    Hi,
    I am creating a very simple bpel process using file adapter. in my 'Receive' activity, I selected 'create instance' , as the tutorial says.
    I got this compilation error during deploying.
    'Error(31): [Error ORABPEL-10051]: multiple create instance activity [Description]: in line 31 of "D:\OraBPELPM_1\integration\jdev\jdev\mywork\BPELPractices\FileAdapterTest2\FileAdapterTest2.bpel", Conflicting createInstacne="yes". Instance is already created by another activity. [Potential fix]: Remove createInstance="yes" attribute from this activity. '
    Several people had the same problem in my team. I wonder if this is a common issue. how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Kate

    You must be having another receive/pick activity within the same process that has "createInstance" set to yes.
    Thats why its complaining.

  • Error During INSTALL of Application Export File

    An error is reported during INSTALL of an application that I am trying to copy (Import/Install) from a "development" Work Space into a "production" Work Space. The production (target) Work Space is on the same HTML DB instance as the development Work Space.
    I am receiving the following INSTALL error:
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol &amp;quot;,'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)&amp;quot; when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % &amp;amp; = - + ; &amp;lt; / &amp;gt; at in is mod remainder not rem &amp;lt;an exponent (**)&amp;gt; &amp;lt;&amp;gt; or != or ~= &amp;gt;= &amp;lt;=
    Following is some pertinent (hopefully) information:
    The above INSTALL error takes exception to part of a Region Select (sql) that works fine in the development Work Space.
    The common HTML DB (v1.6) instance is on UNIX.
    A new Work Space was created on the same instance.
    A new schema name was created during creation of the new Work Space. However, this schema does not point to a database. (We were not certain how to setup the schema to parse to our live database.) I will be running DBLINK upon production application startup in order to access the database objects.
    EXPORT INFO -
    File Format: UNIX (also, tried DOS but received same error during INSTALL)
    IMPORT INFO -
    File Type: Application/Page Export
    File Character Set: Western European Windows 1252
    Target Work Space is newly created on the same HTML DB instance.
    INSTALL INFO -
    *Parse As Schema: COLLIVE17 (Again, this schema does not parse to a database. I intend to use DBLINK.)
    *Build Status: Run and Build Application
    Please refer to above error message.
    Again, any insights or suggestions are appreciated.

    Urgently need help! I've read several other Forum messages having a related problem but none having same Install error message.
    Again, my Export/Import from development Workspace to production Workspace is successful. The following error is reported when I attempt to "Install" into the production Workspace:
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol &amp;quot;,'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)&amp;quot; when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % &amp;amp; = - + ; &amp;lt; / &amp;gt; at in is mod remainder not rem &amp;lt;an exponent (**)&amp;gt; &amp;lt;&amp;gt; or != or ~= &amp;gt;= &amp;lt;=
    The "snippet" of Region Sql Select code that relates to the reported error is:
    ELSE htmldb_item.display_and_save (5, DECODE (GET_GRADE_B93 (sac.stc_final_grade,sac.stc_verified_grade),'18','AU','1','A','3','B','4','C','7','CR','5','D','46','DR','6','F','47','FW','49','IB','30','IC','31','ID','23','IF','44','MW','9','NC','21','RD','14','RD0','33','RD1','32','RD2','34','RD3','35','RD4','36','RD5','37','RD6','38','RD7','39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W'),'GRADE_'||ROWNUM) END q_v_grade,
    HTML DB version is: 1.6.0.00.67. I've also tried to Export/Import/Install the application into the "same" Workspace specifying the same schema, and only changing the Application ID. However, I get the same Install error (see above).
    Any suggestions on things to try in order to get application into production is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Bernard.
