Error during the configuration of communication channel

Hi ,
I am trying to create a senario where XI will send the DEBMAS Idocs to the SAP system.
Can you please help me as to how sould i go about configuring this senarion.
The error i am getting is -
Communication channel is not configured correctly. Choose a different communication channel----- when i am trying to assign the communication channel to the receiver.

Hi,
1. at first you can take a look at:
http://server:port/mdt/amtServlet
find you channnel type and your channel and see if there's any error over there
2.tell us all of the channel parameters that you've configured so far

By default, the SOAP adapter sends the SOAP message with the content type text/xml.
When you check "Do not use SOAP envelope", the default contnet type is application/xml.
You can change the content type like this: Go to the SOAP receiver communication channel module tab. Add the module "localejbs/AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean" before the standard module. Add the parameter name Transform.ContentType and value text/xml.

Error during import: eof on communication channel

I'm trying to import a dump into an existing schema:
imp GIDAC/GIDAC@NT3 file=EXPGIDAC.dmp LOG=IMPORT.LOG FROMUSER=GIDAC TOUSER=GIDAC buffer=256000 commit=Y analyze=N
Objects were exported by SYSTEM, not by GIDAC, but it goes on.
When Oracle tries to import the first wrapped package structure, I get an ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel, and the import process stops. Always at the first wrapped package structure.
Oracle database versions are exactly the same (8.1.7.4.1)
Any idea about that?

Unfortunately I do not have access to Metalink.
I'm quite sure it's something related with wrapped packages: I've dropped that package from the source db (it was an old one, no more needed), exported the schema and launched the import process again, this time without any problem. It seems that importing/recompiling wrapped packages takes a lot of time, may be Oracle disconnects me after a while, due to a kind of timeout, don't know.

Error during the configuration wizard

I am installing the PI 7.1 ehp1 on AIX/Oracle.
While executing the configuration wizard, the following error occurs.
How to resolve this error? Any information would be appreciated.
Error: The configuration wizard attempted to execute synchronizeSLDAccessor method from class com.sap.ctc.util.pi.services.ExchangeProfileSetup of component sap.com/com.sap.xi.ctc.app that is not present in the system. Please contact support to resolve the issue

I did not set the class path manually, I only used the sapinst wizard.
How to check the class path and if the com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.zip is not installed, how to install it?
It may not be related,
because I wanted to change the PI default client from 001 to 100, I executed the client copy, change UME to new client and deploy LM　CONFIGURATION(LMCFG01P Patch 02) according to the SAPnote 1309239 Q4.

Configuring a Communication Channel for an Adapter Engine other than the default engine.

It states under 'Adapter Configuration', that you can specify the Adapter Engine you want to use in the Adapter Engine dropdown box.
I have activated the XI components on my ERP system using transaction SICF, but what do I have to do to make the other adapter engines show up in the dropdown list when configuring an adapter?
Maybe some background would be helpful: This is for a scenario that will send a file from an external system to one of the ERP systems in our landscape. BUT, the system admins have decided to revoke our FTP accounts (because they have their reasons), so I need to create a File Adapter that will drop the file on the file system of that ERP system, due to visibility I want to use the integrated Adapter Engine that comes with the ERP system, but need to know how/what I'm missing in setting up this scenario.

in order to use some other adapter engine you
have to install it first by dafault only one
(central) adapter engine is used and it is all
most clients need
if you'd like to use some other adapter engine
(decentralized for example) have a look at thid guide:

Possible to configure several communication channels for the same receiver?

Hi,
is it possible to configure several communication channels for one (the same) receiver?
The problem is as follows: I would like to switch between the RFC-channel and the XI-channel, if the RFC-Adapter doesn't work for some reason.
The situation: Our XI3.0 posts messages to several receivers and the switch should be done by changing one table entry which is selected and analysed in an ABAP-Proxy and which could enrich the XML-message. By now, the only chance I see is to change the respective entries in the Integration Directory for each receiver separately.

but this is the only way I believe
(cause you cannot assign conditions to receiver agreements)
you could also create two messages (practically two flows)
but would it be more elegant?
BTW
in my opinion you should try restarting RFC channel
and not create two - just in case...
if RFC doesn't always work why don't you use another one only?
this would just simplify your scenario (maintanance of just a number of communication channels and not 2 x number of communication channels)

ORA Error : end-of-file on communication channel

Hello everyone !
Every time i excuted a simple select query of type
select X from Y where (z=1 or z=2 or z=3) i got a oracle error "ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel ".
Can anybody tell me why this error occurs, also sometime i got the result also again some time i end up with this error.
Is there anything wrong with my pro*c application or i need to do some configuration for the same.

We don't have any firwall between the clients and the server it is directly connected through the gateway.
onece i received the error : "end-of-file on communication channel ", its not restoring back the connection and all queryies made after that is giving the same error untill i stop and rerun the pro*c application.

I am new to XI and still learning at the moment. I am trying to configure a communication channel for my SOAP Receiver at the moment. However when I try to assign a value to service, the dialogue box did not have any option for me to put it in. I just want to know where I can configure the service so I can use it when I configure my communication channel.

Hi Wing
You can create the communication channel for the Business System if you have not included it in your Landscape.
In ID follow these steps -->
Select Service without Party
   Select Business Service
      From the context Menu --- Select New ( create one Business Service e.g WS_BusService )
         Now select this Business Service & you will found Communication Channel. Now here you can create the SOAP adapter.
Also dont forget to explicitly select your Inbound Message Interface in Business Service " Receiver " tab else you won't be able to see it during Interface Determination.

SMQ2: SYSFAIL Comparison error during the execution of a simple

Hi folks, I have an operation mapping interface determination with exactly 1 target message of occurence 0..1, that means the mapping output can be nothing for some input messages, that means a target message is not produced so that the output looks like this:

In services builder the test finishes successfully when no output message is produced. Also in integration builder i can test the configuration and it works without errors.
But in runtime the message status is set to "Recorded for Outbound Processing" in SXI_MONITOR and the queue status of the message to "Message has errors". The message stops in SMQ2 with "SYSFAIL" as status and statusText "Comparison error during the execution of a simple" (truncated).
Anybody experienced the same? How has the output of an operation mapping to look like when no target message is produced?
I also tested with an output like this when no target is produced, but this results in System error "Split mapping created no messages" in SXI_MONITOR:

You seem to be having a multi-mapping involved.
The operation mapping has to produce at least the start and end tag.....even if the entire message is not present
Ex:
<SRC>
<First>
<Middle>
<Last>
</SRC>
If above is the structure, then it should be ensured that at least <SRC></SRC> is created by your mapping program....however in your case this is not happening....the tags that you see Messages and Message1 are due to the multi-mapping program and your message should be more than this.
if you say that occurence is 0..1 then what you can do is map this 0..1 node (root) with at least a blank Constant.
Unless you create a message (even though empty) you will continue to receive the error message.

HI,
The communication channel template is for the documentation purpose that will give the information about the sender and receiver communication channels in IR. So No need to goto ID and check the related CCs each time for every scenario.
You can preconfigure a communication channel with a communication channel template. You can use the communication channel template as a template to define a communication channel at configuration time.
If you want to create multiple communication channels with some identical configuration data, you should use a communication channel template.

To rectify this you must import the BASIS SWCV 7.0 into the Integration repository.

First do SLDCHECK in XI ABAP Stack, then if it has errors means follow this help file

If SLDCHECK is working fine means,
Try to re-import the BASIS SWC into IR againg, then only you will be able to see the list of adapters in the list..

Hi, I've got Creative Cloud, on a Mac Pro late 2010, 6 Core, 3.3 Gz, which has just been emptied and re-set with Yosemite. I've downloaded the Adobe stuff I need, especially Ps, Il, Id, Pp, Ae and Lightroom 5. Everything works find except Lightroom which doesn't open, giving me this message each time: "There has been an error during the modification of the modules." There is no error number attached and the program freezes. I've got a deadline which has been broken because I can't finish the work I've started in Lightroom 5 on my old computer which I deactivated in order to run the new one. Now I don't know what to do nor where to look for the problem. I've placed the Lightroom Library on an external LaCie 4Big 8Tb Raid 5.

Rentals can only play on one device/computer at a time. Have you tried to play on the computer and still have that window open?
Have you transferred the rental to iPod/iPhone or iPad to watch?

A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad. But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup.   How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
