Error exporting to CSV with groups

Iu2019m having a problem exporting reports to the CSV format. Iu2019m seeing the problem both in the report designer and in my C# code. Here are the conditions under which the problem appears:
Report contains at least one group.
Report Header & Footer, Page Header & Footer, and Group Headers are all suppressed. Only Details is visible.
Selection Formula is such that it returns no records.
When I export the report as CSV from the report designer I get this error: u201CFailed to export the report.u201D
When I export from my C# code, I get this error: u201CError in File C:\DOCUME~1\...EBDF30}.rpt: Operation not yet implemented.u201D
If the Selection Formula is such that it returns records, then everything works fine. Other extract formats also work fine. It only seems to be CSV with an empty dataset that has the problem.
Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, are there any workarounds?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem. Are you sure you have write permission where you want to save the PDF?

Export to csv with blank row error apex 4.0.2
In a tabular form when I use the export to csv, it return a csv file and the data is fine but there is a blank row between the header and the first row of data.
It happens in the 4.0.2 release. I used the 3.1.2 release before and it worked perfect.

Export Users data with group membership
Hey Guys,
I'm using csvde to export users data for management reports.
I'm asked to add to the exported data the group membership of the users and I'm having problem doing that.
My current script is:
csvde.exe -s 192.168.xx.xx -d "ou=CS,dc=Domain,dc=com" -r objectClass=user -l "Company,DisplayName,sAMAccountName,title,lastlogon,pwdLastSet" -f c:\usersonly-Users.csv
Can anyone help me adding column with groups the user is member of?

Error exporting Crystal Report with VB Script
I am working with Crystal Reports and attempting to export a .RPT file to a .PDF file using a VBScript called from InSQL. I can get the script to work properly if I require a user entry for file destination and name (.export true) but get the error message "Missing or out-of-date export dll" when I attempt to export the .RPT silently (.export false). The report also exports correctly when I manually initiate the export from within Crystal Report. Do you have any examples or solutions for this procedure? Thank you in advance.

set objCRRpt = NothingLudek, I downloaded the VBA Sample application using the Microsoft Access Database and it is coming up with the same error as my VBScript for the PDF export. The error message for this application is "Run-time error '-2147190908 (80047784)': Failed to export the report."

When I Run the application with Me.crxReport.Export True, the application executes without error and a popup appears prompting me to select the destination and format type. I need this to run automatically though without a user prompt.
I have seen numerous topics regarding the exportmodeller.dll, crtslv.dll, and atl.dll files improperly registering or the incorrect versions causing export problems. Could this be causing problems with my export functions? Again, the reports export fine when I manually export them, I am just having a problem when I try to export automatically in any format (excel, text, pdf, rpt, etc...)

InDesign-error exporting to pdf with art linked to a Read only server
My question is about an error exporting a PDF from InDesign ("Cannot export pdf"). The InDesign file has links to art (a .psd file) from a secure file server where I have Read permission only--not Read/Write. The error only happens when I have linked art from this server.
To export a pdf, is it necessary to have Write permissions to the server that has linked art? To export to PDF of course I am not changing the linked file! My InDesign file only links to it. So why doesn't it work if I have Read permission?
Can anyone help?
Can it really be that Read only permission is not enough for linking to art and making a pdf?I wouldn't think it would be a problem. Are you sure you have write permission where you want to save the PDF?

Crystal Report Export to PDF with Group Tree Bookmarks
Dear Forum
I have created a Crystal Report aspx page with an export function of the report to pdf. So far all has been successful, except form one little annoying this. The report does export to a pdf file and it does create bookmarks based on the group tree, BUT when opening the pdf file the bookmarks hiest point which should be the file name is the really long temp file name with .rpt as an extension. I have looked every where to try to get it to write the filename to the bookmark hierarchy without success.
I come you you all for any form of help to solve this issue.

I have a list with few items. If I break role inheritance for at least one item and try to open list view page, I receive this error:
Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))
This occurs only if view has GroupBy in query. If I remove grouping from view, then error disappears. But I need to have grouping in view as well as item level permissions.
How can I achieve this? Is this some limitation?
Any help will be appreciated.

Exporting a report with group in crystal report
Hi all,
I am new to crystal reports XI.
I have designed a report in which I have created 2 groups.
The structure of report is shown below.
MAIN REPORT:
Status 1st 2nd 3rd
A 10 20 30
B 40 50 60
When I double click on groups(either A or B) another subreport gets opened.
The structure of the sub report is
DETAILED REPORT:
A 10 20 30
Name:XYZ
Age:XY
Place:XYZ.
My query is when i export the report in PDF format only the main report is getting exported.
I have to run this report through BOXI and have to send the mail to users in PDF format.
But when i export the report in PDF format i am not able to see the detailed report.
Please give me suggestions how can i resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance...In the report design description I undestand that when you double click on the group header it opens the subreport. I think this might be on demand subreport or you might have used suppress condition for the subreport section using "drilldowngrouplevel". If you are suppressing conditionally and showing the report when you double click on it these feature will work only in crystal report but not in PDF. So it is better to remove conditional suppress and show the complete data so that when you export it to PDF it will show all the data.

Error exporting report with sub report and parameters

I am using the JRC to export to a PDF file a report that has a sub report within it. Both the main and subreport connect to an Oracle database via an Oracle ODBC connection and both share a single parameter, RUN_ID. I need to set a value for the parameter in both reports. not. I am not sure why the update to set the RUN_ID in the second SQL query fails, but it seems to me the JRC is not detecting it as a missing parameter and is passing the SQL including {?RUN_ID} to Oracle, causing the JDBC driver to fail with this NullPointerException. What happens if, instead of passing in parameter field values, you pass the report source object to the viewer (ReportViewerBean for stand-alone or CrystalReportViewer for web)? The viewer should introspect the report for the parameter fields and bring up a parameter field entry dialog box. Does such a dialog box come up? Is only the main report parameter field queried for, or both main and subreport paramter fields? When you enter correct values for the field, does the report display?
Hopefully, the above should narrow down the issue.
By the way, JRC doesn't support ODBC connections, only Java based connectivity such as JDBC, JavaBeans and XML. If you have a report with ODBC, then it looks for a JNDI connection with the same name.

Create export-csv with dynamic (unknown amount) columns

This is my first post, hopefully I include everything you need. My code block is at the bottom of my post.....
I have written a PS script that gives me the info I need, but I would like to format it differently. Currently I import a CSV with 2 columns - username and print queue name. The script then takes each username and looks it up in SCCM
to find the workstations the username has logged into. I then export to csv - this is where I would like to format it differently. The export csv has 4 columns username, print queue name, workstation name, and details.

username1,printqueue,workstation2,details
username2,printqueue,workstation1,details
username2,printqueue,workstation2,details
My problem is that if the user logs into 5 workstations I have 5 rows with duplicated username and print queue name. If my next username logs into 8 workstations I have 8 rows, etc. I would like to format the export dynamically using as many
columns (not rows) as need. For example
username1, printqueue,workstation1,workstaion2, workstation3
username2,printqueue,workstation1,workstation2, workstation3,workstation4
I expect where I have my pscustomobject would be where I could change this - I have tried setting up a count variable and using that in my loop to be able to assign dynamic column name, I have tried using an array but still new to setting that up, maybe
I just wasn't doing it correctly. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Error Occured in exporting to Quicktime with Conversion
hello... I am gettin a general error on final cut pro and im needing just a little help... When i export to Quicktime with Conversion on the streaming medium setting... i get an Error Occured Message...
This error has never occured before on any of my other video's but with this one... i did add some music to the background and it is a bit longer video... almost 10 mins... What do you think i need to do to export this to quicktime with conversion on the streaming medium setting?

SpitYoGame.comFirst, try exporting as a selfcontained quicktime with sequence settings and try using compressor for the conversion.
It's unlikely the audio being longer than the video is causing the problem, but try adding a big of slug to the end of the video track so the material on the video track extends to at least the end of the audio. -

the issue is a file is missing when exporting proccess is done, the file is DM_CommentsRDBMS.csv, this file contains the commens of columns.

I logged bug however information is not enough to locate the problem.
You can use export to reporting schema in order to get your model exported - in database in that case.
We are not going to extend "export to CSV file" functionality any further - it'll be as it is now.
