    <b></b>

    Hi
I would suggest you to do the deployment of the EAR using NWDS rather that using deploy tool. for Doing this please follow this link for creating ,building and deplopying as ear using dev studio
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/08/51ec41b9a24f4a8359c61ae4a02db1/frameset.htm
Anyways if you ar still tied up using deploy tool pleas cross verify that all the dependent jars (including jars which  NgoServerinterface will beusing internally has to be in the classpath . Would be great if you can post the stack trace
hope this helps !<b>  please mark points for helpful answers .</b>
    regards

  • Error while deploying Java EAR including flex

I am developing Flex + Java in RAD 6.0, codes run correctly.
But when I want to deploy the ear file of the whole application.
Error is raised while deploying the flex folder under
    WEB-INF. Following the detailed information:
Anyone know how to solve this error? Thank you.

what is the actual filename of the remoting-config file?
Is is exactly ".#remoting-config.xml.1.3"? I'm not sure the #
is a legitimate filename character. Looks to me like you're
intending to exclude this file and are 'commenting it out'. Try
removing the file completely, or rename it to something that's
legit. You should be able to find the source for
    org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.Resource.checkExists on google
if that doesn't work, and see what it's doing.

  • Out of Memory Error While deploying as EAR file

    Hai,
I was trying to deploy an EAR file of size 63 MB which inturn containing about 60 EJB.jars. No WARs. application.xml has all the entries for the JARs. While I am deploying it is giving Out of Memory Error. Is there any way to tweak this problem. I am using my own hand written java application which uses the SunONE deployment APIs for deployment. Can u please tell how to tackle this problem. I am running my application through a batch file which uses jdk1.4.
Please help me regarding this issue.

You can set the initial heap size and maximum heap size for the JVM, either in the app-server admin console, or maybe in one of your scripts. You look-up the syntax!...
I had this error yesterday. I too had run out of memory (150Mb). You simply need to allocate more to the app-server.

[23/Feb/2011:03:43:57 UTC] WARNING [B1137]: Cluster initialization failed. Disabling the cluster service.
When looking at the working instance, this warning is not displayed but instead is displayed as:
[25/Jan/2011:17:06:49 MST] [B1041]: Cluster initialization successful.
I am not sure what setting needs to change here though.
I was looking at the code and is seems that the combination of not using a cluster and that glassfish sends a namespace prefix to JMS is what results in this final error being thrown.

  • Error while deploying an ear file in the Oracle Application Server

    Hi,
There was an existing ear deployed in the the oracle application server - 10g. We had to include some customizations so we rebuild the ear file with the new changes and tried redeploying the ear using the EM console. Getting the below error while deploying the same. Any pointers to the same would be helpful.
    Error
An error occurred when processing the data submitted. Find the appropriate field and enter the correct information as noted next to each field.
Archive Location - Failed in uploading archive. Invalid archive file: Jar file resourceadapter-rar.rar is missing a standard deployment located at META-INF/ra.xml
We have not modified anything in the ra.xml nor have touched the resourceadapter-rar.rar

    Hello
did you configure the startweblogic file as mentioned in the admin guide ?

  • Error while deploying the EAR file

    Hi,
We are trying to deploy an EAR file (created through NWDS) using the SDM. But while deploying we are getting the following exception:
com.sap.sdm.util.sduread.IllFormattedSduFileException:Error during attribute reading: received exception: Error in opening zip file
Does this has something to do with the application or is it related with the WinZip software?
We deployed the same application with the same configuration previously, at that time it got deployed without any issues.
    Please reply.
    Thanks & regards,
    Sujit

    Hi,
This is due to the corruption of EAR file, Check whether the Ear File is  correct or if it has been Corrupted. Because it is unable to Read the File. If it is Corrupted just Create a New EAR file.
    Regards,
    Sharma.

  • Error after Deploying a .ear File

    Hi,
I have deployed an .ear file on the SAP J2EE engine 6.20 on EP6.0 sp2. When I access one of the JSP's, I am getting a NoClassDefFound exception even though the particular jar (xml-apis.jar) file containing the class is in the additional-lib directory. Also, the jar file has been added to the classpath in go.bat? What other changes are to be done for a successful deployment?
Environment :EP6.0, sp2 hotfix4 on Windows 2003, MS SQL server DB.
    Please reply ASAP
    Thanks

    hello,
have you tried including the 3rd party jar in your EAR file itself?
i use a number of external jars in my web app and ejb, including some xml parsing classes. what i did was to put them all in the EAR, at the root level, in other words, not in a sub-directory. then in my WAR's meta-inf/MANIFEST.MF file reference them in the Class-path. do simililar thing for the ejbs if necessary.
when you tried to use the inqxml instead, did you make a reference in manager/referecen.txt from your app to the inqmy library? if so, did you look into the inqmyxml.jar to see if the Node class is actually there?

  • Error while Deploying Petstore.ear

    Hi,
After installing Oracle 9ias, I tried to deploy the peststore.ear file. After completing all the steps given in the document, I finally clicked on the Deploy button on the deployment summary page.It is taking a lot of time for the process to complete and finally the browser says "page cannot be displayed".I refreshed the page and it comes up with the following error:"Deployment failed: The J2EE application (.ear) file needs to be specified and read before the deploy process can proceed. Go back to the Deploy Application Introduction page."
Can anybody tell me where is the error.Thanks.

  • Weblogic deployment APIs giving error for deployment on weblogic 10.3.2

I am using weblogic deployment APIs to distribute my war file on weblogic 10.3.2 but it gives the following error on distribute

Can someone help why this is happening? I am not including weblogic-application.xml in the war file as i think this is not required for a war file. Is that the reason?
    Edited by: user790199 on Dec 28, 2009 7:37 AM

    Hi,
The DTD used in "web.xml" should not cause any issue ...though it's the OLD "web.xml"...Please try to run the Following command to Generate the New Deployment Descriptors from the Existing Application:
Step1). Open a Command Window and Run "setWLSEnv.sh" or "setWLSEnv.cmd".
Step2). In the Command Prompt move to the Current Directory where you have placed your Application and then Run the Following Command
    java weblogic.DDConverter  -d NewDDs  jamagent.war
Here Above Command Will read the "jamagent.war" War archive and then It will generate the New DDs in "NewDDs" directory...Which we need to replace with the OLD DDs present in our WebApplication..

  • Error in deploying p6.ear on WebLogic: java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry CRC

    Hello,
We're trying to install Primavera EPPM 8.3 and test it on our server but having troubles in deploying p6 application.
We have successfully installed the following prerequisites:
    - WebLogic 11g
    - JDK1.7.0_45 and setting JAVA_HOME path=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_45 in enviornmental variables
    - Downloading wsdl4j-1.6.2.jar for web services
    - Running the setup.exe file (located in PEPPM path\Disk1\install\setup.exe
    - Successfully finished the setup and running the Configuration Wizard.
    - Successfully created the database using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database
    - Successfully creating a new WebLogic domain.
    - We didn't install BI publisher nor any content repository ( would this affect running the primavera application? )
    - In the configuration wizard summary we can see everything is marked successfully except the "Start Web Logic" step it showed an error and a message indicating that we should start it manually ( however, the domain is successfully created ).
Next, we run the startWebLogic.cmd file in our new created domain, then we run startNodeManager.cmd from WebLogic common/bin directory.
We can access the WebLogic administration panel successfully but no "p6" application in the deployments.
So, we click "install" then open the p6 directory and deploy it without errors.
But when when starting the P6 server and then try to start p6 application, it failed with the following error message:
java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry CRC (expected 0xa0a67af0 but got 0xef73b950)
Can you please help us to solve this? Please note that every other deployment is running correctly except p6.

The cause of errors was a dying Westen Digital drive, specially the 48G partition reserved only for $ORACLE_BASE (/dev/sdb3 mounted on /opt/oracle).
A simple quick scan of unmounted partition (badblocks -v /dev/sdb3) reported more than thousand new bad blocks (compared to the last scan six months ago). Although I strongly believe, specially in the case of WDC drives, that the best utility to "repair" bad blocks is the one that opens a window and prints the message: "Go to the nearest shop and buy a new drive", I was very curious to prove my suspicion just on this drive. After zero-filling the partition with dd, then formatting it (mke2fs -cc) and mounting again, the 11g installation and database creation (on the same partition) successfully completed, performing fast and smoothly. To make sure it was not a casual event, I repeated the installation once again with full success. The database itself is working fine (by now). Well, the whole procedure took me more than four hours, but I'm pretty satisfied. I learned once again - stay away from Western Digital. As Oracle cannot rely on dying drive, my friend is going tomorrow to spend a 150+ euro on two 250G Seagate Barracudas and replace both WDC drives, even though the first drive seems to be healthy.
In general there is no difference between loading correct data from good disk into bad memory and loading the incorrect data from dying disk into good memory. In both cases the pattern is damaged. For everyone who runs into the problem similar to this, and the cause cannot be easily determined, the rule of thumb must be:
    1. test memory and, if it shows any error, check sockets and test memory modules individually
    2. check disks for bad blocks regardless of the result of memory testing
Therefore I consider your answer being generally correct.

  • Error when deploying as ear, ok when deploying as war, why?

    Hello all,
I have a strange problem with a JSF project that uses myfaces and shale. I'm using Netbeans 5.5, and all works fine when the web application is deployed independently as a war, but when deploy the full ear i have the following error:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at org.apache.myfaces.taglib.core.ViewTag.doStartTag(ViewTag.java:75)
. I'm using a 'mock' application with no complex ejbs and jsps, so I discard a component problem. Someone have experimented this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks vbk,
I resolved 'partially' the problem not including the myfaces jars in the ear. So the application server uses the sun jsf implementation and all works fine. lamentably I don't know the answer, i suppose a class loading preference problem ... I any case, i would be interested if someone uses the myfaces implementation in the sun app server 9 (myfaces includes some interesting features). I proved the myfaces 1.1.3, 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 versions and all have the same problem.
In relation with this same post, i found anohter problem: shale tiger annotations make jee5 annotations fail. I looked in the shale forums and seems this combination is incompatible. Someone use tiger annotations?
    Thanks.
