Error found in the multithread.....

Question

i not really understand ab multithread if using GUI, so i hope anybody can help me solve this questions...pls
so this is the error come out frrom command result .....one error
if(e.getSource() == save)
String file = data.getText();
saveLog(file); Thread t1=new Thread1();
t1.start();
and the result of error is ......
C:\ThreadServer.java:78: cannot find symbol
symbol: method saveLog(java.lang.String)
saveLog(file);

saveLog(file);
This has nothing to do with multiple threads: the compiler simply can't
find a method 'saveLog' anywhere in your class or in any parent thereof.
Did you write that method yourself or are you using some API where
this method is supposed to be defined?
