Error Generating Asset Lines

Hi,
I am trying to generate asset lines for a capital project and the 'Generate Asset Lines' process gives following exception :
'Standard Cost not found for asset'
What is missing on my project ?
Thank You

Hi
It seems like your project type setup for the Asset Allocation method has been defined as - Standard Unit Cost.
However, you may missed to define the unit standard cost for the asset book and category in the Project Assets Standard Unit Cost window.
Look at the following explanation in Projects Implementation Guide:
You can set up a capital project to automatically allocate unassigned and common costs to multiple assets by selecting an asset cost allocation method for the project. To allocate
costs using the Standard Unit Cost method, you must define a standard unit cost for each asset book and asset category combination for which you want to allocate costs. When
you choose this method of cost allocation, Oracle Projects multiplies the standard unit cost times the units installed for each asset to determine the proration basis for
allocating costs.

  • "PRC: Generate Asset Lines for a single project" not generating certain asset lines

    Hi,
    There are certain invoice lines for which the PA_ADDITION_FLAG is Y in AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL.
    However, on running the "PRC: Generate Asset Lines for a single project" the same are line amounts are not getting Generated, and are not being shown under Rejected Lines in the output file aswell.
    Can someone sugges what might be the issue?

    What is your PA Thru n FA Dates?
    PA date should be period end and FA date should be month end.........and also check CIP Interface amounts on Capitalization form..

  • BI Publisher - PO_DISPATCH Error generating report output

    Hi everyone,
    Sorry for my bad english... having said that...
    I need to modify the Purchase Order print. First, I wanted to see the standard version to get an idea of how much different it was. Well, I don't know because it doesn't work.
    Error:
    Error generating report output: (235,2309)
    Error occurred during the process of generating the output file from template file, XML data file, and translation XLIFF file.
    I know there are several topics on the web, but all of them are about new or custom reports, this is a standard one. When I preview the report on the report definition it works fine, so I assume there's a problem with the XML file generated. When I preview the report specifying an alternative XML I get the same error. The XML file I choose was the one generated by PeopleSoft when trying to view the printable version of the PO online.
    So, I start cutting portions of the XML File. I started leaving only de Header Data and it works OK, when I add the Lines it failed. I add the Line Fields one by one to detect what was the problem... And finally it failed when I add AMT_LINE_MAX. Why? No idea, is it because its value is '0,000' instead of '0.000'? I don't think that should be the problem since there are other numeric fields on the header, all with ',' as a decimal separator...
    Am I missing some configuration?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Veronica.

    Have a look at the following doc:
    "Error generating report output. (235,2309)" When Running the "PO XMLP Dispatch" XML Publisher Report (PO_DISPATCH) for a Purchase Order with a Ship To Location with Special Characters in the Address [ID 1299876.1]

    Stating this happens for example when there is a location with special characters.

    Hi Raghuram,
    I found a very important SAP Note 103051, details are below.
    An IDoc processed by function module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM (of category INVOIC01) must not refer to the same purchase order item in several invoice items. This is also valid if for a goods receipt-related invoice verification several delivery notes belong to the same purchase order item.
    Depending on the system settings and the situation, various error messages can occur (for example, FD240 'Order item ... selected more than once' or M8050 'Balance not zero: & debits: & credits: &').
    In this situation module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM generates error message M8321 'Document contains same order item more than once'.
    For example, this situation occurs if you work with individual batch valuation and the SD billing document executes a batch split for different batches which belong to the same purchase order item and delivery.
    Other terms
    INVOIC, SAPLIEDI,  M8047, M8, 321
    Reason and Prerequisites
    This is because of the program design.
    Solution
    There is no solution for IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM.
    Module IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM (only as of Release 4.0) for the logistics invoice verification can distinguish different goods receipts by means of the delivery note number. For this purpose, GR-related invoice verification must be active.
    Owing to this symptom, billing documents for single batch valuation with batch split cannot be settled in MM-EDI inbound processing. The settlement generates exactly the situation described (several invoice items for the same purchase order item). In this case, the only solution is to deactivate the billing of the batch sub-items in SD Customizing and to calculate the main item only.
    Hope this helps.
    Reward if helpful.
    Thanks

    In my opinion it's bad practice on Oracle's part to include private/unpublished methods in the same packages as public/published APIs. Instead of the {noformat}<tt>apex_*</tt>{noformat} APIs consisting of synonyms on {noformat}<tt>wwv_*</tt>{noformat} objects they should be wrapper packages that only expose public, documented methods&mdash;and preferably these public packages should be in their own schema. Wouldn't hurt performance too much would it? (Guess I'll have to benchmark that...)
    Another question is why not all of the {noformat}<tt>wwv_*</tt>{no format} package bodies are wrapped to limit off-road exploration and subsequent exposure of undocumented methods?

  • Asset Lines Processing(pa_client_extn_asset_creation)

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a requirement on my project where the client requires the assets lines built and created should be grouped individually based on expenditure organizations in the Invoice distributions which are matched to the Purchased Orders. The Date placed is service for the Asset should be the date the Invoice is paid. The CIP Account generated for the assets lines should be based on the locations in the Expenditure.
    For Example. If a user wants to creates a PO for different locations he navigates to the Po distributions window and selects the Project Tab. He selects the same project number but uses different expenditure location as he wants to send the products to different locations. This PO is invoiced and paid. When the CIP is built and assets are created they get created based on the project organization instead of the expenditure orgs. Also the assets are tied to the just one asset name instead of differentiating with orgs.
    So for the above requirement we would lke to build a Asset Lines Processing client extension which would create project assets and asset assignments prior to the creation of asset lines, based on transaction data (such as inventory issues or supplier invoices) entered for the project.
    Please provide your experience inputs and helpful documents to build this client extension. If there is any sample code to be used then please advise.
    Thanks you for all your help in advance.
    Asad.

    Hi,
    You can make use of the Asset client extensions PA_PROJECT_ASSETS_PUB.ADD_PROJECT_ASSET and PA_PROJECT_ASSETS_PUB.ADD_ASSET_ASSIGNMENT and add your custom logic there.
    Hope this helps !

    Procedure
    Check your entries for the amount, transaction type and cut-off value specifications, such as memo value, scrap value or cut-off value percentage rate.
    i am not able to understand the issue, please suggest,
    regards,

    Hi,
    Go to T.code OAYI and check what u have defined as the memo value(retention amount) for each depreciation area/ company code.  This memo value is the amount that is not depreciated, in order to have a memo posting for an asset, which has already exceeded its useful life.  The system reduces the planned annual depreciation in the acquisition year for the asset by the amount of the memo value.
         You can activate or deactivate the memo value by means of an indicator in the asset class, although it has been defined on depreciation area/company code level (this is applies especially to asset classes for low value assets).

    Are you using AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epso … 320-sx218/ ?
    I updated the PKGBUILD to remove the line that says 'gcc -V >&5'  from the configure file
    libtoolize
    sed -i 's/gcc -V >&5//' configure
    chmod +x configure
    but it still doesn't build:
    ==> Starting build()...
    libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in `.'.
    libtoolize: linking file `./ltmain.sh'
    libtoolize: Consider adding `AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR([m4])' to configure.ac and
    libtoolize: rerunning libtoolize, to keep the correct libtool macros in-tree.
    libtoolize: Consider adding `-I m4' to ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS in Makefile.am.

  • MRP generated schedule lines

    Hi,
    I made a scheduling agreement say "YYY" with material "A". The target quantity specified is 100. I had made all the relevent settings & MRP is generating schedule lines successfully.
    But the schedule lines generated for material "A" for the SA "YYY" are more than the target quantiy 100.
    I want to know if I can restrict MRP to generate the schedule lines upto the sppecified target quntity only. How can I do that? Are there any settings for this?
    If not then can anybody explain me what is the use of target quntity with respect to MRP?
    Regards,
    MHP

    Try to change system messages 06/067 to Error (in Material Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define Attribute of system messages).  Rerun MRP.
    Please check and revert.

  • "Fatal internal error:"memory.cpp",line 593"

    I need some help.
    Can some please explain what i am doing wrong here. i have created a Dll from a LV 7.0 vi. The header file looks something like this:
    typedef struct {
    long dimSize;
    double elt[1];
    } TD2;
    typedef TD2 **TD2Hdl;
    typedef struct {
    double f0;
    double df;
    TD2Hdl magnitude;
    } TD1;
    void __cdecl Spectrum(double freq, double amp, TD1 *Spec);
    And i have the following code where i allocate memory and attempt to call 'Spectrum':-
    TD1 *Power;
    double frequency=10, amplitude=1;
    Power = (TD1 *) malloc(sizeof(TD1));
    (*Power).magnitude = (TD2**)malloc(sizeof(TD2));
    *(*Power).magnitude = (TD2*)malloc(5000*sizeof(TD2));
    (*Power->magnitude)->dimSize = 5000;
    for (i=0; i<500;
    i++) {
    (*Power->magnitude)->elt[i] = 0;
    Spectrum(frequency, amplitude, Power);
    I keep getting Fatal internal error: "memory.cpp", line 593" when it tries to call Spectrum. I believe i have allocated memory correctly although i may be wrong. (I was getting 'exception' errors before). The VI i used to create the Dll contains a basic 'Function Generator' (sine wave) and a 'Power Spectrum'.
    I have looked at the Knowledge base and dll examples that come with LV 7.0 and have tried setCINArray and NumericArrayResize but have not had any luck. It seems like the documentation is for LV 6.0 and 6.1.
    Has anybody seen this or have any idea why i am getting this?
    Thanks

    It looks to me like you are constructing arrays to pass to LV using
    malloc, instead of the labview.lib functions for creating or resizing LV
    array handles.
    You should refer to the manual on Calling External code for details on
    the construction of an array.

  • Mkinitcpio: ERROR in HOOKS= line

    Hello,
    I am using archboot usb image to install from net (following https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GR … I_systems). When I examine mkinitcpio.conf during system configuration, the HOOKS line is empty: HOOKS=""
    When I edit it and save, the installer replies: ERROR: Detected error in 'HOOKS=' line, please correct HOOKS= in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf!
    I edited the HOOKS line to read: HOOKS=”base udev autodetect scsi sata filesystems usbinput". I also tried editing 'HOOKS=' to various reasonable choices, yet I always get the same error.
    MODULES="ahci libahci xhci-hcd ehci-hcd ext4 vfat"
    'BINARIES=' and 'FILES=' are empty.
    Please advise,
    Thank you.
    PS Copied below are notes taken during the install, in case I am making any errors, this may or may not be useful.

    Thank you for the suggestion Lone_Wolf. I was using the above partition configuration as a test. I now am running Arch off an SSD, with /var mounted from another disk. I still encounter the same issue with mkinitcpio.conf in the installer. I still can only boot through the UEFI BIOS firmware.
    My system is updated (pacman -Syu) and here is the output of mkinitcpio -p linux:
    Building image from preset: 'default'

    Creating gzip initcpio image: /boot/initramfs-linux-fallback.img

    Now, when I reboot, I get a message "Filesystem Check Failed". I saw this before and fixed it by:
    remounting / rw (as instructed by the prompt)
    editing mkinitcpio.conf and including lvm2 in the HOOKS line: HOOKS="base udev autodetect scsi sata lvm2 filesystems usbinput"
    # mkinitcpio -p linux
    I am now able to boot, using the firmware boot loader and the mkinitcpio.conf that includes lvm2. Note that the only partitions mounted on lvm are /var and /sgmedia (custom made directory - btrfs).
    Any suggestions welcome,
    thank you.
