Error Handler Returning 200 Status Code
Greetings,
I have a section of my site assigned to be an "Error Handler" however when a user is brought to this page, the status code is a 200. As you can imagine, this has the potential to cause a lot of problems for processes that rely on status codes to operate.
I have found the following solution on another site, indicating to place this Idoc Script code at the top of the Page Template:
<!--$setValue("#local", "ssChangeHTTPHeader", "true")-->
Unfortunately, doing the above does not work. Am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Josh
Hi Srinath,
First of all, thanks for taking time to help. I removed the tag that I previously had inside of my Page Template and put yours in the body, however my page still returns a 200. I completely stripped the Page Template of all but the necessary markup.

Error handling return code for Provide Statement
Hi Experts,
For select statement we have error handling return code sy-subrc.
What is the error handling return code for provide.. end provide statement.
Thanks,
RaguRagu,
Same thing.
Check sy-subrc.
sy-subrc is the return code for all ABAP statements as far as I know.

Hey All, I am really stumped on this one.
Environment - Is using split DNS
Forest Root Domain - Contains new Lync 2013 Server Standard, ADDS, DNS, Enterprise CA, Workstations
Clients in this domain connect and work beautifully. No errors.
Child Domain - ADDS, DNS, Workstation, Lync 2013 client
Client autodiscovers, and then asks for a password. Enter the password and this comes up...
Can't sign in to Lync, You didnt get signed in, It might be your sign-in address or logon credentials.. blah blah blah"
Client log shows
Error:
There was an error communicating with the endpoint at 'https://domainlync13srv.Domain.net/WebTicket/WebTicketService.svc'.
The server returned HTTP status code '403 (0x193)' with text 'Forbidden'.
The server understood the request, but cannot fulfill it.
As far as i can tell certificates are correctly configured with all the SAN's possible in my forest. The user is correctly set up in Lync control panel. Autodiscovery seems to be working as it should. EWS is working correctly.
Repaired client, removed cached creds, has all lync 2013 updates no dice
Thank you all!I am an IDIOT.
I did not prepare the child domain with the LYNC setup tool. Logged on to a file server in the child domain with domain admin rights and sure enough the setup said the domain was "partial". Ran the setup and bam it all started working. -
Segmentation Error : Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL
Hi,
when we do customer segmentation in Applet Java Builder, we create a target group using 2 or more criterion, then it prompts us an error "Communication Error" - Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http//xxxxxxxxxxx/bc/bsp/sap/CRM_MKTTG_SEGAP/communication.do
we're in CRM 7.0 SP 6.
What we have done
- activated the service CRM_MKTTG_SEGAP
- implement sap note 1481289, 1359890, 1161753
any info is really appreciated.
Thanks
JDHI ,
Communication error occurs because of two active versions of segment builder jar files are appearing , deletion of older version resolves this issue .
Go to SE80 u2013 Select the BSP Application - CRM_MKTTG_SEGAP and check segmentbuilder.jar Segment Builder Applet under MIME folder and check the size and delete the older version .

HTTP status code returned by site-wide error handler is 200 OK?
I'm using a developer install of ColdFusion 11. I set up the following page at http://localhost:8500/test/index.cfm:
<cfthrow type="application" message="This is an error">
When I visit that page, the HTTP status code returned is 500, as expected.
I then created the following page at http://localhost:8500/error.cfm:
<p>Sorry! That was an error.</p>
If I set the site-wide error handler in the CF Admin to /error.cfm and visit /test/index.cfm, the HTTP status code returned is 200 OK.
This seems weird to me. It looks like I can include the following in the error.cfm file to send an error code instead:
<cfheader statuscode="500" statustext="Server Error">
Does anyone see that as problematic? Is there a reason why the site-wide error handler should return 200 OK?Error Codes are the responsibility of the developer, to define and broadcast. Ultimately, the ColdFusion server has acted appropriately and fulfilled the request (hence the 202). Only the code would know what error was truly thrown, and how to appropriately handle that message to the user, hence the need for you to change the header in the response, if you want that broadcast to the browser in anything of than a "successful request" type of status.

CyannaHi Michal,
Thanks for your response! I followed the instruction on question 17, and recheck my configuration of the integration engines (for client 105/106/107 as stated in the SAp demo), and change the 'Corresponding Inte. Server" back to the format "dest://<RFC destination for inte. server>". I had that initially, and decided to try using the entire http path (http://<local_host:J2EE port>/sap/xi/engine/?type=entry). Neither of them worked.
Do I need to restart or reactivate any components after I changed the corresponding integration server value after the configuration?
Since the above did not work, so I went back to the possible root cause (Integration Server RFC destination). I have set up the integration server RFC destination in client 100, with the following parameters:
Under Technical Settings:
Host: <local_host>
path prefix: /sap/xi/engine/?type=entry
service no.: 5<instance>00
Under Logon/Security:
Logon Precedure: chose Basic Authentication
Client: 100
Login ID : XIAPPLUSER
Afterwards, I did the "Test Connection", and it returns the 404 error.
In addition, on the application systems side (in the demo, the case will be client 105/106/107), I have ensured the business systems are set to "application system".
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks much!

How can I add error handling facilities to this code?
Hi everyone, i have this code that needs some error handling facilities (messages that warn user the data inputted is not valid that prvent crashing) added to it. I have no idea on how to do it and i accept any ideas. I'll post the code in two sections as it doesnt fit. The code works by recieveing inputs for student grades and calculating the total and the average. That works fine, but i need to include an error handling facility that doesnt allow the user to input letters, special characters or numbers outside the range 1-10. Can anyone help?
Code Part 1:
import java.text.DecimalFormat;
import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
import javax.swing.*;
import java.util.*;
//Defines the counter for the student count and uses a usage method to
public class EdronProject {
private int studentCount;
private static final String USAGE = "Usage: java EdronProject <student count>";
private List<Student> list;
//Set up the counter fo the number of students and the list in which
//each student's information is saved once processed
public EdronProject(int count) {
studentCount = count;
list = new ArrayList<Student>();
//Checks the number or arguments, and it executes the rest of the code
//if there is 1 argument or more (the number of arguments = the number
//of students being processed)
public static void main( String args[] ) throws NumberFormatException {
int count = 0;
switch (args.length) {
case 1: count = Integer.parseInt(args[0]); break;

//in the processing stage) and the student name string

private String studentName;
//Use setter getter methods for the student name to be retrieved

Error: Server returned HTTP response code: 503
Hi All,
I am trying to import a web service WSDL (which is not a BPEL or ESB service) on creating a partnerlink in BPEL. I am getting following error while importing,
"java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL: http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
Does anyone know the cause and fix for this issue.
Thanks,
RizwanHi,
Have u tried to open the wsdl url in browser. If it is giving the same error than u have to look into the server hosting this service.
The HTTP response code 503 says: The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. -

Error Handling in Stored Procedure code
Hi All,
I need to know which step is failing and whats the error message when i run a stored procedure.
Lets say i have a stored procedure with below content.So i want to know which of the below four statements failed,and
the error message belonging to it.
How can i modify the below code to achieve my output.
begin try
DELETE FROM Table1 WHERE Column1 = 'A'
UPDATE Table1 SET Column1 = 'C' WHERE Column2 = 'B'
SELECT * FROM Table1 WHERE Column3 = 'C'
SELECT * FROM Table1 WHERE Column4 = 'D'
end try

file1 = Dir("Q:\Budget\Historical Budgets\" & new_dept_folder & "\*.xls*")
col = 2
col_new = 3
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
While (file1 <> "")
filename = Left$(file1, 6)
' Open the newly selected workbook
Set wb = Workbooks.Open("Q:\Budget\Historical Budgets\" & new_dept_folder & "\" & file1)
udds = filename & " - " & wb.Sheets("Budget").Range("J1").Value
ThisWorkbook.Sheets(1).Cells(1, col).Value = udds
For x = LBound(data_new) To UBound(data_new)
wb.Sheets("Budget").Select
Range(data_new(x)).Select
Selection.Copy
ThisWorkbook.Sheets(1).Cells(x + 5, col_new).PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False
Next x
' Close the current workbook
wb.Close SaveChanges:=False
On Error GoTo Errhandler
Set wb_old = Workbooks.Open("Q:\Budget\Historical Budgets\" & old_dept_folder & "\" & file1)
<--- Need Error handling on this line (i.e. if I get error here)
For x = LBound(data) To UBound(data)
wb_old.Sheets("Budget").Select
Range(data(x)).Select
Selection.Copy
ThisWorkbook.Sheets(1).Cells(x + 5, col).PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False
Next x
Application.CutCopyMode = False
' Close the current workbook
On Error Resume Next
wb_old.Close SaveChanges:=False
Errhandler:
For x = LBound(data) To UBound(data)
ThisWorkbook.Sheets(1).Cells(x + 5, col).Value = 0
Next x
' Select the next file in the dir array
file1 = Dir
col = col + 5
col_new = col_new + 5

Everytime I run the code the errhandler which I don't need. Could you please help me on this.
Regards, HiteshHi,
You could check whether the file is exist, then open it.
If Dir(path)<>”” Then
There are three On Error Statements, On Error GoTo <line>, On Error Resume Next and On Error GoTo 0.

Returning HTTP status codes (401, 403, etc) to Flash 8
Hi all,
I'm using AMFPHP on the server-side and Flash remoting
classes to communicate with it. Everything's working great, but i'd
like Flash to be able to recieve HTTP status codes from the server.
For example, if on the server side (in PHP) I go:
header("Status: 401 Unauthorized");
I'd like the remoting service on the flash side to be able to
get the HTTP error code (401 in the example above).
I know this is possible with
LoadVars.onHTTPStatus
but it doesn't seem to deal with using it with Flash Remoting.
Thanks all :)

Error executing RDS Command Status Code 504
Hi,
I'm new to the flex world & was trying out the testdrive application at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/testdrive/articles/1_build_a_flex_app2.html
I've installed Flex Flash builder 4 on top of my eclipse installation and I'm using Tomcat as the servlet container for deploying the testDrive WAR file (which contains the remote services).
When I try to connect to the 'BlazeDS' from Data-> Connect to BlazeDS option; I get a Status code - 504, Reason: Connect Error.
Can anyone please point me to the right direction, I've tried everything I could but no luck.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Cheers,
JWith all the problems people have with this error, you'd think there would be a FAQ about it. is this it? no answers?
no one knows why this happens with eclipse/FB4 on a windows xp system? is this the kind of support you get from Adobe?
this is EXTREMELY frustrating!!!!!!! please Adobe,HHHEELLPPP!!!!! -
Server returning wrong status code
Hi,
I am using an applet in my weblogic application. The browser throws
"java.lang.ClassFormatError: Bad magic number" while trying to
load the applet. The httpd access log shows
128.163.140.61 - - [18/Jun/2003:15:17:15 -0400] "GET /marvin/MSketch.class HTTP/1.1"
200 5659
Though the return code is success (200), it is returning something else,
which cannot be interpreted as a class file by the browser, hence the error.
The same error is thrown, when I try to load a bogus applet, which is not present
at the server side.
128.163.140.61 - - [18/Jun/2003:15:38:32 -0400] "GET /dsds.class HTTP/1.1" 200
5659
The class file is deployed in the correct folder and I am able to access it
by
directly typing in the URL. In which case, the access log says
128.163.140.61 - "" [18/Jun/2003:15:52:38 -0400] "GET marvin/MSketch.class HTTP/1.1"
200 14362
Note the third feild (authenticated username, I assume) is "" instead of blank.
So what is going on here? The server is indeed doing the wrong thing by returning
the 200 code even when the class file is not present. Does this have something
to do
with the access control or other settings? Any help is appreciated.
-Thanks
