Error IllegalArgumentException: Invalid Remove

Question

Hello,
: I am having a problem with an error, the error does not say where it came from so I don't know what to do. As far as I can tell there are no JTextArea objects in the program. The error seems to happen at different times, and not only when certain things happen. The program is a Java applet. here is the error:

If the exception occurs frequently,
I can only suggest you to start commenting your code and re-test your application.
I had a similar problem (although the exception was different)
@Override
public void resize(int width, int height) {
     super.resize(width, height);
     //getSplitPane().setDividerLocation(getSplitPane().getWidth() / 2);
}I couldn't trace the exception, so I started commenting. The commented line above was the problem. (I still don't know why)
