Error Importing Profiles with LCM

Hello Experts,
We are getting the following error when trying to import the Profiles with LCM to our Production environment:
Server was unable to process request. ---> Exception of type 'Hyperion.DimensionServer.Interface.Exceptions.ImportManagerException' was thrown.
The exportation from Development was completed with success and we don't understand why this error in the import process. All the other objects were imported without major problems.
Your help will be much appreciated.

Customer upgrade projects will not be able to participate in the 2007 A Ramp-Up if PL23 (or higher) on SAP Business One 2005 A SP01 have been applied. This is because Enhancement Package content has been introduced with PL23 which, due to compliance rules that SAP must follow, SAP can only add to SAP Business One 2007 A once this new release has been assigned general availability status.

I can not import BusinessParters with DTW 2005.0.16. For objects like Items ... it works as usual. With oBusinessPartners the Source data is shown empty, resulting in 0 imports and in 0 errors. If I open the dialog "Maintain Interface" to see the field database, it is empty within the oBusinessPartners.
How can I correct this?

1. Start Tomcat.
2. To deploy the .war file of the sample application, in the browser enter this URL:

Firstly, please always publish the URL of a feed, not its contents.
But in any case, this is not a feed: it's an HTML web page and as such won't be accepted by iTunes.
There is a link to what is presumably the feed at http://podcast.goluv.com/?feed=rss2 - this does appear to be a valid feed and is what you should submit to iTunes.

Error importing composite with business rules into SVN

Hello,
When I import a composite with business rules into Tortoise SVN I get below error.
Error: Commit blocked by pre-commit hook (exit code 1) with output:
Error: Path
Error: '/trunk/ProjectName_SCA/.rulesdesigner/jaxb_classes/com/ProjectName/package-info.class'
Error: is restricted for commit by pattern '\.class$' for the current user.

Further invesitgation bears this problem out.
Oracle support recommend wrapping the SimpleType in a ComplexType. This does work, but now I have an extra wrapper element to deal with. I either have to use the wrapped type in my other complex, composed Types and/or add an external wrapping element when trying to create Business Services in BPM to call the BusinessRules I've created.
This is a bit messy.
To be clear, this does not seem to be an issue with Business Rules; the BR editor and generation of Facts (including simple restricted types -> JAXB 2.0/Java Enumerations) seems to work correctly. There seems to be an issue exposing DFs as Services. The code which generated the WSDL and its supporting types seems to choke on restricted SimpleTypes.
As a side note, it seems that HumanTasks have a similar limitation

Error import pdf with indesign

Bonjour,
Je fais des pdf avec un logiciel de dessin (Topsolid 7.8) + PDF creator.
Ensuite j'essaye de les importer sur Indesign pour faire un montage de documentation.
Certain pdf s'ouvre et d'autre non.
J'aimerais bien connaitre la différence entre les deux fichiers.
Ce qui fait que l'un fonctionne et l' autre non.
A qui puis je envoyer mes deux fichiers pdf pour qu'ils soit analysé ?

Import a business rule with LCM

Hi,
I have edited a new version of a business rule. After exporting it with LCM in development, I tried to import it (with LCM) on my test environment.
It appears that, even if the LCM import is successful my business rule (that already exist on my test environment) wasn't replaced.
Is there any parameter I have missed somewhere, because I can replace existing webform, or any planning components, but I can't replace business rules.
I'm using Planning 11.1.1.3

If you want to replace a Business Rule into Planning using LCM you have to follow these steps:
If you use Business Rule Server:
1. Connect to Essbase Application from LCM console
2. Find your business rule and replace it
If you use Calc manager:
1. Connect to Calc Manager Application from LCM console
2. Find your business rule and replace it
3. Connect to Calc Mananger console and Deploy your Business Rule
Remark: You can replace it directly from your planning application

       I am trying to create an import profile in EPMA for DRM, but I'm getting the error below :

Well, after review the DRM documentation I've found that some settings must be done before, like as :
* Installing Metadata Services Schema for Oracle Web Services Manager
* Configuring Oracle Web Services Manager
* Configuring WebLogic with an External Provider
* Configuring the API Adapter
I've done all settings above and got to test the webservice, but when I've got to create the profile the error is about :

Metadata import error during creation of import profile

Hi guys,
I am trying to create a (out-of-the-box) metadata interface from Fusion (source) to a HFM application. I've successfully completed the following activities:
- Register source system
- Setup source accounting entities
- Initialize source system
- Register target system
- Create import format (Fusion to HTP application) which maps the Account COA segment from the source system to the Account dimension in the target application.
- Create location, connected to upper import format
- Create metadata rule
When I try to execute the metadata rule it raises the following error during the step "Creating EPMA import profile for dimension ERPI System Profile 5" :

I am kind of new to debugging with FDMEE, but am I correct that it finds a string where I should not be finding a string somewhere in the metadata? I looked into the source system metadata but I don't see any "string" metadata. Could anyone perhaps advise and point me in the right direction on how to deal with this error (what is causing the error, where to look, etc). Any help would be kindly appreciated!

I noticed the line: "at com.hyperion.awb.webservice.imports.runtime.ImportsSoap_Stub.createImportProfileForApplication(Unknown Source)" from this last log. Does this have any to do with the interface data source being unknown? or is it referring to something else as being source?

Error when importing file with "

Hi,
In a text file if a field is having double apostrophe( " ), the file does not open in Import Manager. Get error as "Logon Error.... Line [x], Pos[1]". To test this,
1. Just copy paste the below 3 lines in a file
2. Open in Import manager with delimiter as pipe ( | )
3. Should get error
4. Next, edit the file, Find & Replace all " with any other character like ! & try to open the file now!

Hi Ketan,
Even I faced the same issue with MDM7.1 while importing the "| data.
The solution is simple you have to check that open double coates are closing are not.
I fthe data contains "| is not a problem with version unless it should be properly closed.
What we did was we remove open " coates or get the data with closed "

Error while Importing Idoc with Extension

Hi All,
I already imported idoc with extension and working fine. When I tried to transport the Idoc from Dev XI to Prd XI . I got the following error
The objects as displayed in the navigation tree are possibly not up-to-date.
So I tried to Re import the Idoc in IR but it is ending with below error
+ com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: The objects as displayed in the navigation tree are possibly not up-to-date.
I already saw some threads in SDN for this error but I am not getting solution.
Can anyone provide a solution ASAP for the above error .

Why are you transporting it form Dev? Why not from QA to Prd.
Since this is a Z-IDOC so check if the extension has been released from R3 after doing any modification.

Has anyone tried loading data records to HANA DB 1.00 Build 20 from the CTL files provided in     https://wiki.wdf.sap.corp/wiki/display/HANADemoenvironment/HowtoloadCOPAdata ?
It was work on HANA DB 1.00 Build 15 but not with New Build...
The procedure was exactly the same
The creation of Tables is done but i have this error with import data with each csv files:
Command with HANA Studio (Build 20):
                load from '/tmp/export/TCURT.ctl' threads 4 batch 1000;
Error:
               Could not execute 'load from '/tmp/export/TCURT.ctl' threads 4 batch 1000'
               SAP DBTech JDBC: [257]: sql syntax error: line 1 (at pos 3643214585)
I tried also: load from '/tmp/export/TCURT.ctl' -> same error...
We have all privileges on the tmp folder and files
I tried also to copy new data from source...
Do you have an idea?

LOAD TABLE command was not public - full syntax was never mentioned in any SAP guide on help.sap.com or Market Place (except SAP HANA Pocketbook-DRAFT). Therefore it is SAP internal syntax that can be changed anytime. And I guess this is what happened. Command is either deprecated or having different syntax.
If you need to import CVS file I would suggest to use official way - either IMPORT command (which was also not very public before but since SP03 it is mentioned in SQL Script Guide) or best using SAP HANA Studio import functionality (just be sure you use CVS as type of file).

OWB import fails with corrupted repository error

Hi,
Please anyone can suggest a solution for the below problem. I am trying to import set of changes done in development through a Colllection into acceptance. But it keeps failing due to the 'Corrupted Repository' error.
The OWB Version is OWB 11.1.0.7 which is upgraded version (from 11.1.0.6). I have also compared the SAP_FTP and Background values which are same (10007) on PROPERTYDEFINITION_V.
Also we have run the repository clean up scripts which reported no issues. But still the error is reported. Please help.

When importing MDL file you should have an log file generated. This log file is usually in the same directory as your *.mdl unless specified differently. In the error you posted there is a JOU_JOU_FK and I think this is the corruption. Find the mapping using this table associated to this JOU_JOU_FK and drop the mapping first. Check the log generated from the import it may specify the mapping to drop.
I import my (collection) mdl's with TCL scripts and I generate errors log or completion log. This way I can track my deployment to other environment and see if all mappings were deployed and compiled properly. The first part of the log mentions if the MDL imported properly then I performs a validate on it. If i received and error during import the log will list the mapping.
example: Error at line 8,624: MDL1261: Error importing MAPPING .....
Sometimes if I have many mappings to drop. I may receive an error log and have to include the mapping to be dropped in my TCL script.

Error--Could not import profiles

I have installed a distributed instance installation.
While i was installing the Central instance i gave the profile path as
\<server_name>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile
Now after installation when i go to Rz10 and import profiles , i could not import the instance profiles
It is giving a message that "Cound not be read"
Please let me how of how to import that profile or how to change the path to local system

Check if there are some old profiles in you directory. Try to move them into some other folder and then with the clean directory only with the relevant profiles try to import it.
Secondly you check that if there is any junk character in the profile?

Download and launch BatChmod. Put the videos into a subfolder and drag that folder containing the video files into the Batchmod window. Make sure you are the owner and have R,W, X access as well as the group. Everyone will have R only.
Check the Change ownership and privileges, Unlock and Apply to enclosed boxes and then click on the Apply button. When done try importing the files again.
