Error in BI Publisher when clicking on Results tab

I am using Oracle BI in Linux. I have created a report in BI Publisher. I have created a data set and am using the Query Builder to define the model and see the results. Whenever I am including a numeric field in my model(like Unit sold, Amount Sold, quanity etc.) I am getting the following error.
500 Internal Server Error
The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
Query Builder is showing the correct results when I am using the varchar2 fields, or using join with varchar2 fields. But the error is thrown whenever I have a numeric field in the model as a single column or as a part of join. I am using the sh schema availabe as a part of Oracle 11g. Can anyone give a suggestion on what is to be done.

So the doc cache, does just that it caches the document. I assume there might be some issue with caching Excel files. Have to admit I can not reproduce it. Turning cache on and constantly calling for the Excel (either type) is not failing.
Ahh just noticed that you have an XSL-FO template, can you share it and some data so I test and maybe log a bug?

Normalising channels when clicked on a tab

I am trying to normalise any maximised channels when clicked on a tab. The tab url passes 'JSPTabContainer.setSelected=tabName' with the request object, but I cannot see this property inside the getContent method on JSPTabContainerProvider.
I am using portal 6.2

Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe?

ORA-06502 error when clicked on Lines tab in Oracle Service Contracts

When i query for some contracts and click on Lines Tab,i get ORA-06502 error.
This is not happenning with all contracts.My ICX: Numeric Characters profile is set to 10.000,00 but the user who created the contracts which were showing error message has ICX: Numeric Characters profile set to 10,000.00.
If i change my profile option to this users profile option,then i am not getting error in these contracts but getting error when trying to view the contracts which were created by other users who's ICX: Numeric Characters profile is different from mine.
Plz let me know how can i resolve this issue.

Mostly all the pages in the performance management are customized. But after customization also it was worked fine.
But suddenly this error has come, we can't able to find out this.
if any one faced this kind of error means please help in this.

Open page in new window when click on HELP TAB

Hi
I have a number of tabs which work on my pages. My very last Tab is a Help Tab.
What I'm trying to achieve is that when a person clicks on the Help tab, the page should open in a new window.
The rest of the tabs should function normally, ie just switch pages in the same window.

I am using a link item which has a fire action set to yes
In the fire action i am calling a new page using
pageContext.setForwardURL

What is wrong when clicking on the "+" tab does not create a new tab?

Suddenly, the "+" tab, when clicked on, does nothing. Right-clicking on the "+" and choosing "new tab" fails to function. All 5 boxes under Tools/Options/Tabs are enabled. What do I need to do to re-enable the new tab function?

That can a problem with the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Itune force shutdown when click on app tab.

After connecting iphone 4 on to my computer it works perfectly fine until I click on app tab.
When I click on app tab (so I can transfer files over to computer) itune shuts down every single time.
and I have tried it on 3 different computers (window 8, window 7, window xp) and same thing happens so I dont think it's the computer problem?
I'm not sure why it's doing this all of the sudden. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

It sounds like your iTunes applications are quitting when you click the App tab in iTunes after selecting the device on mulitple computers.
I want to recommend starting by quitting all of the open apps on the phone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

When you have done that, restart the phone and then try the App tab again.

Error in BI Publisher when generating excel format

Hi,
I was facing an issue in BI Publisher where I was getting this error message when trying to generate the excel format for a report.
oracle.apps.xdo.template.fo.area.BlockArea.
BIP Version : Oracle BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1
Template used : XSL-FO
Data source : XML file
However, if I turn off the "Enable Document Caching" option in the Report node , the excel report is getting generated. The issue is resolved now, but am trying to understand what the issue was and how turning off the cache resolved it.
If anyone has faced this issue before, and knows the reason - please let me know

I'm trying to run the SimpleTaskMonitor .net example that comes with LabVIEW 7.0. When I click on the Processes tab while the vi is running I get the following error:

I had been getting a message when I opened the vi that the System, Version 1.0.3300.0 assembly had not been referenced, but I found a link on NI's website that said to double-click the PerformanceCounter constructor nodes in the vi and select the appropriate constructors from System, Version 1.0.5000.0. I did that, which made the message when I open the vi go away, but I still get the above error when I go to the Processes tab while the vi is running.

For those that might be interested, we've been able to isolate it down to a Win32 issue and CSDispatcher. Using a straight C# application, we get
Received an exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot read Instance : CSDispatcher.
at System.Diagnostics.CounterDefinitionSample.GetInstanceValue(String instanceName)
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.NextSample()
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.NextValue()
when trying to read the "Private Bytes" value. I am not sure if it is a bug with the Win32 Perfmon provider or something that CSDispatcher has done to disable that counter.

Contacts crash when clicking search result

I'm a new XPeria user, and new to Android at large. Being a previous iOS user, I'm largely pleased with Android so far – not that I was displeased with iOS, I was just curious about Android.
Anyways, on my XPeria, I find a peculiar thing. I have two Google accounts set up, my private account (hooked up with Google+ and the works) and my work account, which is a Google Apps account. If I search for one of my colleagues in the contacts app, I will get a hit on it. However, when I click on it, the Contacts app crashes.
What's up with that?

Please try Uliwoolys advice, however did you manually input the contact originally or was it imported from somewhere?

Javascript error "'_jspDir' is undefined" when clicking af:selectInputDate

I have a af:selectInputDate component inside a af:showDetailItem (af:showDetailItem is inside a af:showOneTab).
When the attribute Disclose of the af:showDetailItem set to true. There are no probelms to pop up date picker. But if the Disclose set to false, I got the javascript error : '_jspDir' is undefined. This error only happend in IE (my version is IE7).
Any ideas / helps?

Why can't i get anything stared when clicking on firefox tab? says it can not link to facebook on bing browser or something

have been using firefox for a while updated this morning an now it will not start up, page goes blank and says something to the effect that firefox can not access the web through the browser, bing is what i use, i like firefox because i can block the adds and it helps me do things faster in a couple of games i play please help.

YouTube Content Creators have the ability to disable embedding if they wish to keep their videos on YouTube only. This is most likely what has occurred and is more than likely not an issue with Firefox itself.

RoboHelp 8 crashes when clicking See Also tab of Design-Time Control Properties

My project was previously in RoboHelp 7 and is a merged project. I copied a topic with see also buttons and want to edit the links. I right click the button and select Design-Time Control [name] Properties and click the See Also tab. RoboHelp crashes every single time. Error message:

One thing that is a little strange is that some of the buttons have Design-Time Control [object1] Properites and some have Design-Time Control [RelatedTopic] Properties, but all have the See Also tab.
If I insert a new See Also button using Insert > See Also, the menu choice is Design-Time Control [See Also] Properties and the tab is See Also. Click the tab and RoboHelp crashes.
If I insert a new Related Topics button using Insert > Related Topics, the menu choice is Design-Time Control [Related Topic] Properties and the tab is called Related Topics. Click the tab and RoboHelp does not crash.
I have a whole lot of these buttons I need to modify, so I'd appreciate if anyone knows of a solution to this problem.

Bummer that!
First, I'll answer something I failed to earlier. You said that sometimes it says SeeAlso and sometimes it's object1. Here's the deal on that.
When you click Insert > See Also the first time in a topic, the control is named SeeAlso. If you copied and pasted or clicked Insert > See Also again, the first time you did that it would be object1 or OBJECT1 depending on whether you used the menu or you copied and pasted. This is because each of these must use a unique name. So is it possible that you disliked seeing object1 on some and you renamed so the second (or third) also was named SeeAlso? I could see that causing RoboHelp to gag.
Assuming that's not it, what about topic filenames or titles? Do any of them have unusual characters in the names? Any character other than 0-9, a-z, A-Z or an underscore ( _ ) is suspect. Perhaps an odd character is tossing a monkey wrench into the works.
