Javascript error "'_jspDir' is undefined" when clicking af:selectInputDate

I have a af:selectInputDate component inside a af:showDetailItem (af:showDetailItem is inside a af:showOneTab).
When the attribute Disclose of the af:showDetailItem set to true. There are no probelms to pop up date picker. But if the Disclose set to false, I got the javascript error : '_jspDir' is undefined. This error only happend in IE (my version is IE7).
Any ideas / helps?

I'm unable to launch an excel file in the Client App from OWA using google chrome. I am able to open the excel file in the web application, but when clicking "Edit Workbook" and selecting "Edit Excel" the file never opens.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you tried to edit excel in client application with Chrome.
Per my knowledge, when you open or edit documents(from SharePoint library) in client application, it requires Open Documents ActiveX controls. Open Documents ActiveX controls limitations on browsers which do not support ActiveX. Currently only 32-bit versions
of Internet Explorer support this functionality. So , for resolving your issue, I suggest you use IE 32-bit.

JSF web app gives javascript error - 'dojo is undefined' and 'webui is unde

BACKGROUND: I have created a Netbeans 6 Visual Web Project. I have also integrated my web app with RichFaces 3.1.3. My web application can be viewed properly and correctly when i deploy it on tomcat 6.
ARCHITECTURE: Our server configuration requires IIS to be our web server and tomcat to be our app server. Both are running on different machines. I have successfully linked up IIS 6 and tomcat 6 using the JK isapi_redirector.
PROBLEM: However, when i connect to my app via IIS, my starting page opens but the input box components on that page are not displayed and i get several javascript errors that read - 'dojo is undefined' and 'webui is undefined'.
Any help or advice in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I managed to find a workaround. Thought i should share it with those who are faced with a similar issue.
I found that a bug report had been placed in the past with Apache Dev. However, they had said that they would not modify their logic because the servlet container spec requires it (even though isapi_redirector is only a connector and not a container). They said that there is no way for the isapi_redirector to differentiate between /foo/WEB-INF when foo is a context and when foo is just a sub-directory of the ROOT web application. So, the general consensus was to err on the side of safety and risk blocking a few requests that are valid.
However, this causes a serious issue for those using NetBeans JSF Visual Web Projects. Hence, I created my own flavour of isapi_redirector by modifying the code such that this check is not performed and leaving the onus of checking on Tomcat.
For those who are interested, the simplest way to go about this would be to force the function uri_is_web_inf (in jk_isapi_plugin.c ) to always return FALSE.

I'm reading the SDN for quite a while now, and thanks to all of you most of my problems could be solved. So I hope there is anybody who knows a solution to my current problem with WebDynpro for ABAP.
On our development machine everything works fine, but when it gets to the test and production systems, nothing WebDynpro related works, even the SAP demo applications don't load. All I got is a blank browser page and the following Javascript error (as shown in the thread title):
wdaOnMainLoad is undefined
This happends regardless of the browser I'm using, Internet Explorer as well as Firefox. I really don't know, how to solve the problem, or even to track the source of this error. The machines are all new with ECC 6.0 as far as I know.
EDIT: I just forgot to mention, that I searched SDN and Marketplace for this problem, but I didn't found anything. There are some SAP Notes though (1266588, 1417118, 1454373) that seem interesting, but nothing is related exactly to my problem.

Error 'mochikit' is undefined when pop-up opens to enter parameters

Hello,
when I refresh parameter value for any report, a pop up comes up:
"A Runtime Error ocurred. Do you wish to debug? Error: 'Mochikit' is undefined"
In the debugger (Microsof Script Editor) it stops in file "../Business Objects/Common/4.0/crystalreportsviewer12/js/crviewer/html.js"
at line "bobj.html.TABLE = MochiKit.Base.partial(bobj.html.createHtml, 'table');"
If I select not to debug, it proceeds as expected. Astonishing is that I run the report in crystal reports designer and not in viewer as it is indicated in the script editor.

After running the java sdk. Should I repair all versions of crystal?

ColdFusion 11 Throws Error Session Variable Undefined, When in fact it is Defined as shown by CFDump.

I've been having a particularly annoying error with ColdFusion 11, and unable to track down the source of this problem.
Basically There are a few variables defined in the session scope we check with isdefined a few lines above to make sure they are defined. Subsequent lines may or may not throw a #variablename# is undefined on random lines.
What can I do to fix this issue? Is this a known bug?

I am doing isDefined checks for relevant variables when neccessary. The problem is not that the code errors out undefined ... it's that the variable is actually defined and errors out undefined.
As a simplified example;
Login.cfm Form supplies form.username and form.password to login_action.cfm then redirects to index.cfm after succesful LDAP authentication. I will not include all lines as it would be too long.

in the wwwroot the Application.cfm handles all errors generated during rendering of the page, which includes generating a cfdump of the session scope.
When I get the Error Log I can see in the cfcatch cfdump the error... Element USER.EMAIL UnDefined in SESSION.

Error in BI Publisher when clicking on Results tab

I am using Oracle BI in Linux. I have created a report in BI Publisher. I have created a data set and am using the Query Builder to define the model and see the results. Whenever I am including a numeric field in my model(like Unit sold, Amount Sold, quanity etc.) I am getting the following error.
500 Internal Server Error
The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
Query Builder is showing the correct results when I am using the varchar2 fields, or using join with varchar2 fields. But the error is thrown whenever I have a numeric field in the model as a single column or as a part of join. I am using the sh schema availabe as a part of Oracle 11g. Can anyone give a suggestion on what is to be done.

So the doc cache, does just that it caches the document. I assume there might be some issue with caching Excel files. Have to admit I can not reproduce it. Turning cache on and constantly calling for the Excel (either type) is not failing.
Ahh just noticed that you have an XSL-FO template, can you share it and some data so I test and maybe log a bug?

"Action Failed" error for "Exisitng Roles/Groups" comes up when Support Pack level of frontend(JAVA) and backend(ABAP) RTA are not synchronized. It happens mostly with HR RTA.
Please follow the SAP Note below to make sure your SP's are in Sync.

Error: 'bobj' is undefined - crystal report for VS2013 - please help ASAP

Currently we are trying to migrate from VS2008 to VS2013 and we installed Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 on a windows 7 laptop. All our crystal report programs are migrated to VS2013. I downloaded Crystal report Support Pack 10 (v. 13.0.10.1385) executable version and installed it. Then opened our old project (from vs2008) in VS2013 and it went through the conversion process. Later I opened each .rpt file and saved in VS2013 so that the crystal report files will be saved in the new format.
I am getting the Error: 'bobj' is undefined when I try to run the report. Am I using the correct service pack 10, or should I use service pack 9. I have read through all the posts related to this error in earlier version of VS. Is there any correct fixes for VS2013?
This is urgent, I am stuck with this error. please help??? Thank you.

Unknown javascript error

Hi All experts,
         I am having one problem in running the application.
     In my view i am having one dropdown(which is of type toolbardropdownbykey).
    intitially when the page is loaded, values are coming into the dropdown properly.
    But there is one (edit)linktourl to each taskname. if i am clicking that edit link then it is giving unknown javascript error "activeoffsetonscreen is undefined".... but data is populating properly and application is running properly after selecting the dropdown. how can i debug that error.

I have a response to a OSS note regarding this problem from SAP. Please follow note 913297. SAP says this has been fixed with latest release of SP15 and the note talks about how to apply the patch on SP15 onwards.
I had this problem on SP14 and i dont see this problem on SP16.

Getting bobj is undefined when report is viewed in Internet Explorer 8

Background
We are running a web application on a server that has "BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 FP 2.6 Update" installed on it.
The server uses the 1.1 .net framework.
This web app can generate Crystal reports and display them either by exporting to pdf, or by using the CrystalReportViewer control.
(The CrystalDecisions references in the sln for the website are using version 12.0.1100.0.
The web app is a custom web app that is not defined in iis at the default level. It lives as a virtual website under the default website and uses the crystalreportviewers12 virtual directory.)
when the browser displays a report by exporting to pdf, it works just fine.
Here is our issue:
When the browser displays a report by using the CrystalReportViewer control using Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), it generates a javascript error:
'bobj' is undefined
Here are a few peculiar things on this:
- the report displays ok for other IE8 users (so the issue only occurs for select IE8 users).
- the report displays ok in ie6.
- One notable observation is that IE8 has different sets of options amongst browsers. We compared 2 machines that didnu2019t work, with 1 machine that does work. All 3 sets of IE8 settings differ in one way or another.
Does anyone know if this is an issue that that can be fixed through an IE8 setting? Or does it need to be fixed elsewhere? Thank you!

While executing inspectSelection in cf_select.htm, a Javascript error occurred.

I keep getting this retarded error 3 times in a row when I put in a cfselect box.

Went to line 231 canInspectSelection() function. Changed it to return (false); instead of true.
Something to do with the property inspectors.

PTLoader is a separate JS library; not part of the .NET Web Controls. I expect that you are using this JS object but have not put the required JS file on the imageserver.
