Error in creating Connection Object and Device Location

Hi ,
When i am creating Connection Object and Device Location , system is giving dump . all other object are working fine.
the error is gievn below :
Error in reading table TE130.
i checked this the table , its have no entries ( mainly field ISTYP is blank ) and this is the cause of problem .
Could you please tell me that how to fill this table before creating Connection object and device location. i think some configuration should be needed for this but i dont know how .
thanks and regards
Deepak.

Hi Deepak,
You can check standard configuration in client 000.
Meanwhile you can use this settings:
ISTYP TPLKZ FLTYP NUMKI NUMKE
C     AO_GP     A     01     OC
D     AO_GP     G     02     OC
This is where you define structure indicator for isu technical location category.
ISTYP correspond to the type of technical location in ISU, C for connection object and D for device location
The content of TPLKZ is defined in the following menu in SPRO.
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
Technical Objects
Functional Locations
Create Structure Indicator for Reference Locations/Functional Locations
Hope it helps,

    Hi,
    Please check the following settings in SPRO:
    Plant Maintenance & Customer Service - -Master Data in Plant Maintenance & Customer Service --Technical Objects --Functional Locations --Alternate Labeling of Functional Locations - - Activate Alternative Labeling --
    In this setting pls inactive the setting for Alt.Label.Then go to ES55 and try.It will work.

  • Error in creating connection of worklist in custom webcenter application.

    Hello All,
    I am creating a custom webcenter application and i need BPEL worklist connection to be set up in that application.I have created the connection from Jdeveloper as:-
    In ResourcePallete-> new -> connection->worklist and has given the worklist url as well as the name of the connection.
    In TestConnection -> success!!
    And then i had dragged the worklist region from taskflow but in runtime it is showing as :-
    The Worklist Service is unavailable .
    *     Warning*
    *     Either no BPEL Worklist connections are configured, or there is an issue with the existing connection configuration. Verify that at least one BPEL Worklist connection is configured for this application, and that no unresolved ''ConfigurationExceptions'' exceptions are logged.*
    and in log it is giving :-
    *<WebCenterConfig><getConnection> Connection not found SOA Connection*
    *<BPELConnectionUtil><getWorklistConnections> The BPEL Connection named 'SOA Connection' was not present in the connections.xml file. This will prevent the Worklist service from being able to interact with the required this BPEL connection.*
    I am using only the Jdeveloper and i am having webcenter framework extensions in it.Also I have created the ADF Security but SOA server is on another machine. Are there any other steps which i had missed??
    Please suggest !!!!
    Thanks.

  • Error while creating info object

    error while creating info object a character
    Info object may be a maximum of  000060 digits...... what would be the error?
    Thanks ALL

    Hi,
    The maximum length supported by one CHAR type infoobject is 60. Check whether you have assigned more.
    If you have to load more length ( more than 60) split the total thing into different infoobjects. Create different infoobjects and split the total thing into them - like 1st 60 char in 1st infoobject, char 61-120 in 2nd infoobject and so on. Then you can again concatenate them.
    Thanks,

  • Error #1056, creating dynamic object

    Hi,
    I am simultaneously creating an object and adding it to an array, perhaps ill-advisedly. The following code worked on the main timeline, but not when I moved it to the constructor of a document class:
    package {
         import flash.geom.Point;
        import flash.display.MovieClip;
        public class IconTour extends MovieClip {
            var thePoint:Point = new Point();
            var defaultColor:Number;
            var overColor:Number;
            var iconCreationList:Array = new Array();
            //var xx:MyIcon;
            public function IconTour(){
                thePoint.x=50;
                thePoint.y=300;
                defaultColor=0x7dc2df;
                overColor=0x788dec;
                iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"folder","Text for the folder", "Folder", defaultColor, overColor));
                for each (var iconObject:MyIcon in iconCreationList) {
                    addChild(iconObject);
    The following error is generated:
    >ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property xx0 on IconTour.
        at IconTour()
    I guess this is because xx0 isn't declared? How does one declare a dynamic object/variable?

    Nope. No mention. However, I guess I don't need to dynamically create a variable as this works:
    iconCreationList.push(xx = new MyIcon(thePoint,"folder","Text for the folder", "Folder", defaultColor, overColor));
    iconCreationList.push(xx = new MyIcon(thePoint,"assignments","Text for the assignment", "Assignments", defaultColor, overColor));
    where this does not:
    iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"quiz","Text for the quiz", "Quiz", defaultColor, overColor));
    iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"assignments","Text for the assignment", "Assignments", defaultColor, overColor));
    AS doesn't care if I add more than one object to the array that is named xx. I probably won't be referencing xx by that name anyway, just by iconCreationList[1].

  • Error while creating PDF object

    We are using Adobe Interactive Forms with Guided Procedures.  Netweaver 7.0 SP14 (Dual stack Java & Abap).  All was working well it appears until we configured SSL for ADS - don't know for sure if this caused the problem but it is the only change we can identify around the time that our problems began.
    When we attempt to Create an Impersonalized Form we receive the following error -
    Cannot retrieve template structure: Execution ended in an unrecognized state
    When we attempt to test a callable object associated with an interactive form we receive -
    Error while creating PDF object: PDF object could not be created; object returned from ADS is null.
    In both cases the entries in the default trace log are the same -
    Service XMLFormService: Native process (PID=0) /usr/sap/UFD/DVEBMGS02/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin/XMLForm.exe terminated abnormally with error code 134

    at com.sap.caf.eu.gp.model.iforms.preproc.FormPreprocessor.execute(FormPreprocessor.java:507)
    Like I mentioned earlier this functionality was working successfully in our environment at one time.
    Any guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    Joe,
    If you originally configured ADS without SSL, I would recommend going back through the ADS Configuration Guide for your NetWeaver stack and make sure all the necessary changes for SSL were made.  I've seen another case where a step was missed in SSL configuration for ADS which caused a form to error.
    If everything looks good based on your SSL configuration, I would recommend creating an OSS Note.

  • How to create connection objects in the NTDS settings container of a DC with LDIFDE

    The following link shows some examples of how to automate creating subnets without having to use the sites and services console: http://codeidol.com/active-directory/active-directory/Site-Topology/Creating-a-Subnet/
    My question is how can use LDIFDE to create connection objects? We don't use the defaultipsitelink and are creating the connections manaully. How can I use LDIFDE to create connection objects like this? I have not been able to find any examples on the internet.
    Thanks for any replies.

    KCC does the job of creating connection object automatically reading site/subnet/sitelink info, so why you need to create manually.

  • CONNECTION OBJECT AND POD

    hi experts,
    can any one of you explain what is connection object and point of delivery with any example.

    Hello
    Connection object is the place where the Utility service is provided. It can be a building, or a transformation center in the street or a fountain. It is just where you provide the service.
    PoD is an object for the de regulated market. It is a universal coordinate on where the service is provided. Imagine you switch  from UItility company A to company B. When both companies exchange your data, the only data that both companies know for sure is your PoD.
    PoD number is created via an algorithm which is unique for your whole country.

  • How to store Connection object and call it from other programs.

    Hi,
    I am trying to connect to the database, store the connection object and use this connection object from other standalone java programs.
    Can any one tell me how to do this? I've tried in the following way:
    In the following program I am connecting to the database and saving the connection object in a variable.
    public class GetKT2Connection {
       public static void main(String[] args) {
          String url = "jdbc:odbc:SQLDsn;
          String dbUser = "sa";
          String dbPwd = "sa";
          Connection kt2conn = Connection connection = java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(url, dbUser, dbPwd);
          if(kt2conn == null) {
             System.out.println("Database Connection Failure!");
          else {
             System.out.println("Connected to Database...");
         GetKTConnectionObj.storeKT2ConnectionObj(kt2conn);
    } Here is the program to save connection object in a variable.
    public class GetKTConnectionObj {
       static Connection kt2Connection = null;
       public static void storeKT2ConnectionObj(Connection conn) {
       kt2Connection = conn;
       public static Connection getKT2ConnectionObj() {
       try {
          return kt2Connection;
       catch(Exception e){
          System.out.println(e);
      return null;
    }Now from the following code I am trying to get the connection object that is stored. But this is throwing NullPointerException.
    public class Metrics_Migration {
      public static void main(String args[]) {
         try {
        java.sql.Connection connection_1 =   GetKTConnectionObj.getKT6ConnectionObj();
         catch(Exception e){
    }

    kt2Connection is null. You need to store it first, to make it not null. Otherwise it will stay null forever. And why on earth are you trying to do this THIS way?
    If you are running the two applications separately, it wont work either.

  • How dynamically create connection pool and Datasource

    Hi
    How I can dynamically create a connection pool and Data source in Oracle 10g Application server. In our J2EE application the user will be login with db user name, password and database name. I want to create connection pool and data source on the fly while login the user with database name. I our application we have access approximate 80 Databases. so my approach is given bellow
    1) Planning to create 80 connection pools and 80 Data sources so when user logs in while selecting the db name i will call the appropriate data source and create the DB connection. Is there any limitation to create number of data sources in oracle app server?
    2) Create DB connection with out using connection pool and data source. But i am not prefer this approach coz we need to handle some transaction in our application.
    Kindly throw some light on managing connection pool programmatically or in application run time.
    I would really appreciate if any one can provide any links or any inormation on this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Kindly let me know is there any drawbacks to create 80 Data Sources to connect 80 database in Oracle 10G App server and each data sources should have one connection pool. so i need to create 80 connection pool. Please let me know is this right approach or any work around to create Data source on fly for each request for corresponding database.

  • Creating remote objects and passing the retrieved data to modules

    I found at this Adobe tutorial a nice "RemoteService" class that  creates a RemoteObject and contains the functions for handling the  result and fault events. If I wanted to use this approach, how could I  pass the data from the result handler to interfaces that modules from  the main application could use?
    I could put the RemoteService/RemoteObject in the modules, but (in my  opinion- and I could be wrong) the best design seems to be using the  remote calls in the main app and passing the data along to the modules.
    Ultimately, I would like to know what the "best practices" are for creating remote objects and passing the retrieved data to modules
    Thanks!

    public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent e) {
      X x = new X(e.getX(), e.getY());
    }I don't see the difficulty.

  • Problem with creating Connection pool and JNDI, driver is not detected

    Hi,
    I have an issue with creating Connection Pool and JNDI.
    I'm using:
    - JDK 1.6
    - OS: Linux(ubuntu 8.10)
    - Netbeans IDE 6.5.1
    - Java EE 5.0
    - Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 Its lib directory contains all necessary jar files for Oracle database driver
    - Oracle 11g Enterprise
    My problem is that the Oracle database driver is not detected when I want to create a pool (it works pretty well and is detected without any problem when I create ordinary connection by DriverManager)
    Therefore after running:
    InitialContext ic = new InitialContext();
    Context context = (Context)ic.lookup("java:comp/env");
    DataSource dataSource = (DataSource)context.lookup("jdbc/oracle11g");
    Connection connection = dataSource.getConnection();and right after dataSource.getConnection() I have the following exception:

    Has anyone succeeded in creating a connection pool with JNDI by using Tomcat 6 or higher ? If yes, could kindly explain about the applied method.
    Regards,

    Hello again,
    Finally I managed to run my application also with Tomcat 6.0.18. There was only two lines that had to be modified
    in the context.xml file (the context of my application project and not server's)
    Instead of writing
    <Context antiJARLocking="true" path="/WebApplication2">
        type="javax.sql.DataSource"
        factory="org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory"
    </Context>we had to write:
    <Context antiJARLocking="true" path="/WebApplication2">
        type="oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource"
        factory="oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSourceFactory"
    </Context>- No modification was needed to be done at server level (niether server.xml nor server context.xml)
    - I just added the ojdbc6.jar in $CATALINA_HOME/lib (I didn't even need to add it in WEB-INF/lib of my project)
    - The servlet used to do the test was the same that I presented in my precedent post.
    For those who have encountered my problem and are interested in the format of the web.xml and context.xml
    with Tomcat 6.0, you can find them below:
    Oracle server: Oracle 11g Enterprise
    Tomcat server version: 6.0.18
    Oracle driver: ojdbc.jar
    IDE: Netbeans 6.5.1
    The context.xml file of the web application
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Context antiJARLocking="true" path="/WebApplication2">
        <Resource name="jdbc/oracle11g"
                  type="oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource"
