Error in data display.
Hi friends,
we are using CalenderYear/ Month to Restrict the KF values in that 0CYTLM(Cumulated upto last month) variable we where using ,Upto last year report is ok, only this month we getting error, when I execute report its saying No applicable data found.
hari
We experienced a similar issue with fiscal year period and the SAP variable.
Thread: ABAP coding for variable SAP exit
Here's the code that I used to resolve it. Basically I just offset the month and the year prior to cumulating for "current" year. The sap exit offsets the month, but never the year.

Error while loading master data (Displaying warnings like missing messags)?
Hi,
loading is successful but request is not in green.
it is appearing in yellow colur.
The warnings message(yellow in colour) is:
"Data package 1: arrived in BW; processing: Data packet not yet processed."
Error messages like:
1.Extraction (messages): Errors Occured.
2.Transfer (IDocs & TRFC): Missing messages or warnings.
Data package 1: arrived in BW; processing: Data packet not yet processed.
3.Processing(data packet): Warning received.
Data package 1: Missing messages.
Please suggest the solution what needs to be done.
After reloading also the same errors are getting displayed.Hi
You can go to the source system . In SM58 check for the tRFC's. Execute the tRFC's manually and see if this helps you to proceed. You need to check for tRFC's for your BWUSER who has executed the load. Also check in SM50 on the BW system to see if you have enough BGD processes available to run the loads. These should be ok for you to start

Data display grid font selection
Does anyone know how to change the font that's used on the "Data" tab when displaying the content of rows in a table?
I'm trying to view chinese characters which are stored in UTF-8 unicode in the database. I have all the necessary fonts loaded on my machine and the correct NLS_LANG settings.
I can see western characters, arabic, russian, greek OK in the data-grid, but not chinese or other far-eastern languages. Instead I see little squares instead of the symbols.
I've checked for font setting in Tools -> Preferences but the only setting I can find is under the "Code Editor" section. This is set correctly (to Arial Unicode MS) and if I copy the "little squares" from the data grid and paste them into a code-edit tab I see the characters correctly displayed.
So it seems that the "Font" setting for the code-edit tabs isn't used by the data-display tabs.
Is there a way of making both code-editor window and data-display tab use the same font?i would create a standard report.
i presume the air pressure and humidity are from one field? if not create a formula to display that.
create groups
1- a/p humidity field or formula
2- time
3- ref-measure- error
not sure if they are the same field or different.
you can then place your data in the groups (formulas calcs etc)
then underlay the groups so they appear on the same line
then draw boxes around them.
hope this helps -
Hi Guru's
I've created a generic ds using fm for direct access.creating virtual cube and mapped accordingluy with ds.
Now when I do test extract on ds per a single posting day then it takes few secords to pull through the data and the no. of records are 45 on dev box.But I do data display on remote cub and it takes long and throughing a timed out error.
I dont have any routines on transformaions.
What could be the problem?

Error converting data type varchar to numeric.Please follow basic Netiquette and post the DDL we need to answer this. Follow industry and ANSI/ISO standards in your data. You should follow ISO-11179 rules for naming data elements. You should follow ISO-8601 rules for displaying temporal data. We need
to know the data types, keys and constraints on the table. Avoid dialect in favor of ANSI/ISO Standard SQL. And you need to read and download the PDF for:

>> I need to select from a dynamic column name and save the result in a variable, but seem to be having trouble with the values being fed to sp_executesql <<
This is so very, very wrong! A column is an attribute of an entity. The idea that you are so screwed up that you have no idea if you want
the shoe size, the phone number or something else at run time of this entity.
In Software Engineering we have a principle called cohesion that says a model should do one and only one task, have one and only one entry point, and one and only one exit point.
Hey, on a scale from 1 to 10, what color is your favorite letter of the alphabet? Yes, your mindset is that level of sillyity and absurdity.
Do you know that SQL is a declarative language? This family of languages does not use local variables!
Now think about “month_val” and what it means. A month is a temporal unit of measurement, so this is as silly as saying “liter_val” in your code. Why did you use “sp_” on a procedure? It has special meaning in T-SQL.
Think about how silly this is:
SET @month_val = 'Month' + CAST(@month_nbr AS VARCHAR(2));
We do not do display formatting in a query. This is a violation of at the tiered architecture principle. We have a presentation layer. But more than that, the INTERVAL temporal data type is a {year-month} and never just a month. This is fundamental.
We need to see the DDL so we can re-write this mess. Want to fix it or not?

Could someone help me to solve this problem.
thanks.Yes, there are 2 primary key column, in VO get data from EO.
I found some solution about navigation as below in dev guid. Is it solution for solve this problem?
Note: If you have a wide table that requires horizontal scrolling, you can prevent the Next and Previous links from appearing off the screen by setting the Width property of the advancedTable region to 100%.
Runtime ControlFor event handling, specify the following code in your controller's processFormRequest to check for a navigation event:
if (GOTO_EVENT.equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM))
To check whether the Next link or Previous link is selected:
if ((tableBean.getName().equals(SOURCE_PARAM)) &&

Hi BI expert,
Please help me out as I am very new in BI. I am getting error "No data available" after executing query in BEx query designer.
thanksHi,
Pl check for the Filter Conditions of the query.Have the same filters data as that in the Cube/ODS.
Hw is the Data Flow ???
A)From ODS to Cube to Query ????
or
B)From ODS
or
C)From Cube
1)Check on which Infoprovider the Query is built.
2)If it is Cube then Check the data in the Cube.Right click Cube ,Display data and Execute.
3)If data is avaliable in cube then it shud come in Query except for the Filter conditions .
4)then check for the Filter conditions of the query.
5)If data is not avaliable in Cube then check in ODS ????
6))If data is not avaliable in ODS then check in PSA
7))If data is not avaliable in PFA then check in R/3.
Also search in SDN as to how the Data flows
A) both from Flat File and
B)R/3 and FULL and DElta Load.
That will give clear uinderstanding !!!!!

Hello,
I have notice some date display problems with browsers when visiting a Podcast page :
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/euronews-no-comment/id193275779
For exemples :
8/45/13
8/32/13
4/49/13
Date problems available on other podcasts :
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/arret-sur-images-les-podcasts/id289722236?mt =2
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/telezapping/id206252481?mt=2
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/france-3-19-20-paris-ile-france/id285421036? mt=2
Theses problems don't exist on iTunes.
Who can fix it ?I checked three of them and see the same peculiarity. Only the web page version of the Store page has the errors. The first podcast you list has a minor error in the 'iTunes declaration' but I wouldn't have expected it to affect the pubDate tag. The second doesn't give the day in that tag, and the third appears to be OK.
I can only guess that it's a glitch of some sort in the Store software used to generate the web page. Only Apple can fix it. You could try the 'report a problem' link in the Store page in iTunes though I don't know how much notice they will take. -
Error saving data in task flow
Hello all,
I am at my wits end with this issue! Thanks in advance.
I have four tables required in a registration process each dependent on the preceding
Individual -(1 to 1)-> Client -(1 to *)-> ClientService -(1 to *)-> ServiceReview
During the registration at least one of each record must be created. Code was written to ensure the tables are persisted in the correct order and that the primary keys are passed to their child tables.
The issue is that all tables are perssisted correctly when using the Model Tester and when I use a single fragment with multiple tabs. However, when the exact process is attempted in a train an error is thrown that starts out with "oracle.jbo.TxnValException: JBO-27023: Failed to validate all rows in a transaction." and ends with "oracle.jbo.NoObjException: JBO-25003: Object ClientCareService of type ApplicationModule is not found."
I have been stuck at this for the past two weeks and would really appreciate some assitance. The DML statement displayed below is the insert statement for which it complains there is a validation error. However, I have gone over all the data elements and confirmed all is well. Also as I mentioned, this works when using the Model tester.
I am using: Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.0.0 Build JDEVADF_11.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_110531.1615.6017

Developer Mode Error: Stale Data -- Master Detail OAF Page
Dear Members,
I have created a simple master detail OAF Page by following the below steps:-
1/ Created a MasterEO
2/ Created a DetailEO
3/ Created a MasterDetailAO
4/ Created a MasterVO based on MasterEO
5/ Created a DetailVO based on DetailEO
6/ Created a MasterDetailVL (view link) based on MasterDetailAO
7/ Created an AM
7/ Attached the MasterVO and MasterDetailVL to the AM
8/ Created a simple Master Detail Page in which user can enter the master and detail records. After entering the details user can click on the save button.
Code in AM_
public void createHeader()
+{+
OAViewObject vo = getMasterVO1();
if (vo.getFetchedRowCount() == 0)
+{+
vo.setMaxFetchSize(0);
+}+
Row row = vo.createRow();
vo.insertRow(row);
row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
+}+
public void createLines()
+{+
OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject)getDetailVO1();
if(!vo.isPreparedForExecution())
+{+
vo.setWhereClause("1=2");
vo.executeQuery();
+}+
vo.setWhereClause("1=2");
vo.setWhereClauseParams(null);
vo.executeQuery();
Row row = vo.createRow();
vo.insertRow(row);
row.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
+}+
Code in ProcessRequest method of CO_
super.processRequest(pageContext, webBean);
OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
am.invokeMethod("createHeader");
am.invokeMethod("createLines");
I am facing the below error when trying to save the master detail records in the respective OAF Page_
Developer Mode Error: Stale Data_
The requested page contains stale data. This error could have been caused through the use of the browser's navigation buttons (the browser Back button, for example). If the browser's navigation buttons were not used, this error could have been caused by coding mistakes in application code. Please check Supporting the Browser Back Button developer guide - View Object Primary Key Comparison section to review the primary causes of this error and correct the coding mistakes.
Cause:
The number of displayed records, 1, exceeds the actual number of records, 0, in view object AstfAM.DetailVO1. Some of the displayed records may have been deleted.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then, access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.
I request the members to help me in resolving the above error.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
R4S.Hi user11991972,
I just faced the same issue and I managed to fixed it using this thread:
Developer Mode Error: Stale Data
In my case, I amended the "Change indicator" checkbox on some of EO attributes.
One of the master attributes was updated by the AM from the detail page, but when navigating back, the master page was not refreshed due to a customer requirement.
But I wonder if it could be of any help in your case...

Clear Data Manager Package Error "The data file is empty."
Hi,
When I run the Clear data package in Data Manager, I receive the error "The data file is empty." I selected a very specific set of dimension values (none are calculated) and am on BPC 7.5 SP3. I subsequently turned on debugging to troubleshoot, but do not see any obvious issues leading the the error message. The log file with debugging turned on is below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Edited by: Tom Bardwil on Dec 28, 2010 5:20 PMYou can greatly improve your chance of receiving a helpful answer to your question if you state the version (MS or NW) and the release (5.1, 7.0, 7.5) of BPC which you are using.
Also notice the sticky [note|Please do not post BPC, SSM or FI/CO questions here!; at the top of this forum whereby we announced new dedicated forums for BPC which are the proper place to post your questions regarding BPC in the future to be able to reach the right audience for your question.
Thanks and best regards,
