Error in integration builder

Hi All,
My issue is if I give SXMB_IFR, it takes me to url http://hostname:port/dir/start/index.jsp but am getting   "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
But if I manually give url as "http://hostname.<domain>.<ext>:port/dir/start/index.jsp" that is along with domain.extension, its working fine.
But even then I am not able to use either SLD, ESR,ID., RWB. I can use them only when I specify or change url with hostname.domain.extension.
Do I need to change somewhere hostname.domain.extension in abap side or I need to do anyother modifications so that it works with hostname:port itself.
If I need to change the parameter, give me the path to change the name.
Regards
Saravanan

If you have conectivity problems with one address try to downlad the ESR's  JNLP and change  the address:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><jnlp spec="1.0+" codebase="*http://URL_TO_CHANGE*">

  • Importing Software Components into Integration Builder (Design)

    Hi
I have successfully installed XI 3.0 and have done post installation configuration.  Could you please point me 1.  how to apply the patches specified in the document
I have created Technical system and Business system to associate with it. Now I want to import those software components from SLD into my design time Integration Builder.  While I do this I am gettin an error "Interal Occured" - Details of the error list 2 numbers one being Null Point Exception.  Could you please tell me what could be the possible problem and the way to resolve.  Is there a do it yourself kind of a document to learn development in XI, ie step by step instruction right from Data object, message object, interface object, business scenario creation etc.
    2. Is there a special step to follow to get the Adapters link up and running withing XI 3.0 web browser. Cos. at the moment, its invoking another window with local port number followed by :800, but it has an error saying "File Not found"
    Please reply, really appreciate it.
    Best Regards
    Shiva.

    Hi Shiva,
your second problem should be resolved, if you apply all available Patches to XI 3.0 (i.e. until SP Stack 03). I guess, that also the internal error in Integration Builder will be resolved by applying the patches.
There is an OSS note 670388 that explains how to patch XI 3.0. It should explain all your questions towards patching.
I would suggest to apply all patches and then check again, if those errors mentioned still exist.
    Best Regards
    Christine

  • PI 7.11 sp6 Integration Builder - folder view error

    Experts,
We recently installed SAP NW PI 7.11 (ehp1) up to sp6.  This is a new install.  We did all the wizards, etc and things are basically ok.
we execute SXMB_IFR, then go to "integration builder" link and login.
If I change the view from "object view" (icon of 2 people) to "folder view" (icon of folder), we get the following error:
class com.sap.guid.GUID:library:core_lib at com.sap.engine.boot.loader.ResourceMultiParentClassLoader at 2353f67e at alive incompatible with interface com.sap.aii.ib.bom.gen.XiReference:sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory at com.sap.engine.boot.loader.ResourceMultiParentClassLoader at 79c008cf @ alive
I found this note, but it does not quite describe my problem:
Note 1525457 - Previous version of Directory API and Value Mappings
I searched all through SDN and OSS, nothing yet.  I'm going to put in a message but I was wondering if anyone out there has seen this?
    Thanks!
    NICK

    experts,
FYI, ready my problem details but I wanted to add one thing.  Apparently were were at sp5 for a brief time and our developer did create some object while at that level.  He reported the issue since we moved to SP6

  • ABAP Proxy Error - Integration Builder address not maintained

I intend to use ABAP proxy between R/3 (ECC 6.0) and XI (PI 7.0).
On configuring the relevant connections, I run SPROXY and get the following error:
Integration Builder address is not maintained in the Exchange profile (Connections)
I have created the connx LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI from R/3 to PI but the connectivity does not work.
    On running the reports
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE
    SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS
    SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION
    My question is:
What is the Program to be used in LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI? I have used LCRSAPRFC_<sys id of XI server>
and SAPSLDAPI_<sys id of XI server>
Should the XI Integration Builder address be maintained in R/3?
If yes, is there any place where IB address can be maintained in R/3 (I believe there is no such thing as exchange profile in R/3. then how can IB address be maintained in R/3??...pls correct if I am wrong)
If IB address of XI has to be maintained in R/3 then can anyone pls tell me how to do it?

Just recheck the steps with this and come up with doubts then
How do you activate ABAP Proxies?

  • Integration Builder - runtime data cache - Error when creating cache list

    All,
When I go into the Integration Builder --> Administration --> Runtime tab --> Data Cache
I get a message saying "Error when creating cache list".
All cache areas look ok and I do not see any other error.
    Also, RFC INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI looks good.
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
Use transaction SXI_CACHE to update the Integration Directory cache. Alternatively, you can use the following URLs to update the CPA cache. Use XIDIRUSER to refresh the cache.
For complete cache refresh u2013 http://<hostname>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
For delta cache refresh u2013 http://<hostname>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=delta
If this does not solve the issue, check transaction SLDCHECK to ensure that connection to SLD is available. If the connection fails, check the configuration in the transaction SLDAPICUST. Make sure that the password maintained is correct and the maintained service user is not locked.
Now in the Integration Repository go to Environment u2192 Clear SLD Data Cache. Also go to Integration Directoy and clear the cache using menu Environment u2192 Clear SLD Data Cache.
Open the XI Start Page and click on Administration. On the Repository tab, choose Cache Overview. Refresh the cache using the buttons/icons on the right. Use XIDIRUSER to refresh the cache. Carry out cache refresh in the same way on the Directory and Runtime tabs.
    regards,
    ganesh.

I checked  /usr/sap/<instance>/DVEBMGS00/work/std_server0.out and I found the below error:
    ^MSAP J2EE Engine Version 6.40   PatchLevel 104329.313 is starting...
Error occurred while preloading classes of security providers from jre/lib/ext folder: java.util.zip.ZipException: A file or
directory in the path name does not exist. jar:file:/usr/java14_64/jre/lib/ext/ibmjceprovider.jar
I checked ibmjceprovider.jar file if exists and its permission and it's ok. I tried also to search forums with the same problem but I can't find one.
Hope you can help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

    Hi gurus,
Could it be the cause of the problem is the error message inside  /usr/sap/<instance>/DVEBMGS00/work/std_server0.out?  What could be the cause of this error? I've checked the file and it is exists inside the folder.  The permission is also ok.

I run jcmon and found that the dispatcher was stopped.

Does the dispatcher will open/use the port 50000 if it is successfully started?  The following is the content of std_dispatcher.out with the same error found on std_server0.out.

  • Authorization error when opening Integration Builder

    Hi,
When I try to open Integration Builder I'm frequently getting authorization error.  I always do a restart of Java engine when ever I get this problem.  After the restart, I don't get the error.
Can any one tell me what is the permanant fix for this instead of always restarting the Java engine.
    Thanks in advance
    Sreenivas

    Hi Sreenivas,
While opening Integration Builder there should not be any error about authorization. However if it is occuring then it may be due to Java Web Start version. Please install latest version of Java Web Start 1.4.2 or higer version. Its version 1.5 with update 3 will be the best for it. Even if it is install then please remove it and install it again. It may solve your problem because when you restart the JAVA engine and it work shows that there is some problem with Java web start.
I hope that this will resolve your issue, even if countinues then go to ABAP stack and copy your Login ID and create it again.
    Reward points if beneficial.
