Hi,
I have installed SAP4.7 E on my PC.
While installing SAP I am getting error like
Try to start E://oracle/ora81/bin/sqlplus.exe
unable to connect to system library.
Error in executing script.
well this was clear to me but we have
Windows 2000 Server
Windows XP Home
Windows XP Professional
Windows 2003 Server
- so far 8.1.7 is not supported (and will not work without problems) on Windows XP and Windows 2003 Servers...

Error during PDF post processing in HtmlToPDF
Hi,
I am using Web services interface to convert Html document to PDF. Works fine for simple html documents stored locally. However when using a remote html document (for example the one in the quickstart--http://www.adobe.com--I am getting an exception:
ALC-PDG-16003-16003-000: com.adobe.livecycle.generatedpdf.client.ConversionException: ALC-PDG-016-003-An unknown/unexpected error occurred during PDF post-processing.
I get the same error when trying this conversion from the Administration Console. I am using JBoss/turnkey. I do not have Adobe Acrobat running on the server computer.
Thanks,
JesseHello Ramya,
I am not finished checking but I did make some progress. Testing from html file located on the server machine, I use the url for file. For example if the file is named foo.html and it is located in directory c:\adata then the file url is
file:///c:/adata/foo.html
That works for me using adminui, and from calling the web service.
The example in the quickstart ( converting the default page at
http://www.adobe.com ) does not work for me just yet. Still get the post pdf processing error.
If not doing so already, check the server log to see if any additional debug information is provided.

FTP error in oracle workflow process
Hi All,
I have written a workflow process which deletes a file on FTP. The process is deleting the file but is showing a warning message. Does anybody have a idea regarding this. One more thing even if file is not found the process completion status is successful. Its status should be error.
The ftp site is on the same machine as owb server.
The following values have been passed
Command: ftp
Parameter List: /-A/localhost/
Success Threshold: 0
Script: delete filename
Output Message Received:
Starting Execution ETN_DELETE_FILE
Starting Task ETN_DELETE_FILE
Starting Task ETN_DELETE_FILE:FTP
Completing Task ETN_DELETE_FILE
Anonymous login succeeded for [email protected]
WARNING: Log file truncated - see RAB for further information.
Completing Execution ETN_DELETE_FILE
Please let me know about this.
Thanks & Regards
Bang.I am not saying your method is not correct, but if you give a shot to go with User Defined Activity. Yep that's correct , just write line in a shell script and call that script in user defined activity.
Property values
command ksh
script pathname with that script file name (/tst/usr/script/filename.ksh)
or
command mv
parameter_list pathname with that filename
I feel this is very simple and easy to manage too. -

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /apps/oracle/DEV/inst/apps/DEV_hlt439erplap001/logs/appl/conc/out/o559655.out (No such file or directory)Most probably this file is not created (since no changes have been done recently, so definitely it is not a permission issue), and if there are any log files generate at the client side it should help in investigating the issue.

Any other tools I can use to debug the error??? I'm stuck1. Is it possible to get more debug information from the Crystal Engine to help determine which fields/formulae are causing the issue?
Unfortunately that is it as far as errors.
2. Does anyone have any initial ideas as to why this might be failing?
a) Apply the latest Service pack:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009038092009E/cr2008win_sp2.exe
b) In the CR designer, enable Verify on First Refresh and Verify Stored procedures on First Refresh
c) If the above does not help, as a test create a new win app. All you should need is just the one line of code, no db code. Let the report prompt for the db logon. If the win app works, it's probably a permission issue.

Error in post process event handler
We should write a post process event handler that updates the manager field. So, I used the following code to update the manager field when a user gets created:
Code:
public EventResult execute(long processId, long eventId,
Orchestration orchestration) {
System.out.println("Test for Event Handler");
try
String userKey = getUserKey(processId, orchestration);
System.out.println("USERKEY1"+userKey);
UserManager userMgmt = Platform.getService(UserManager.class);
System.out.println("USERMANAGEMENT"+userMgmt);
System.out.println(userMgmt.modify(new User(userKey)));
userMgmt.modify("usr_mgr_key","28",new User(userKey));
System.out.println("USERKEY2"+userKey);
} catch (ValidationFailedException e) {
System.out.println("Exception1");
} catch (AccessDeniedException e) {
System.out.println("Exception2");} catch (UserModifyException e) {
System.out.println("Exception3");} catch (NoSuchUserException e) {
System.out.println("Exception4");} catch (SearchKeyNotUniqueException e) {
return new EventResult();
private String getUserKey (long processID, Orchestration orchestration) {
String userKey;
String entityType = orchestration.getTarget().getType();
EventResult result;
result = new EventResult();
System.out.println("Entity Type"+entityType);
System.out.println("Process ID"+processID);
if (!orchestration.getOperation().equals("CREATE")) {
userKey = orchestration.getTarget().getEntityId();
System.out.println("UserKEY0"+userKey);
} else {
OrchestrationEngine orchEngine = Platform.getService(OrchestrationEngine.class);
userKey = (String) orchEngine.getActionResult(processID);
System.out.println("UserKEY-1"+userKey);
return userKey;
It compiles fine and when we try to create a user, the user gets created successfully. But, the expected behaviour of upadting the manager field with the user key '28' is not happening. My approach above - is it right or is there any other method that will make it work?
The output message I see is:
Test for Event Handler
Entity TypeUser
Process ID140343
UserKEY-1613
USERKEY1613

Thanks
Krishi hope wrong coding.
Use this code.
UserManager userMgmt = oimClient.getService(UserManager.class);
//Attribute you want to modify
HashMap<String, Object> atrrMap= new HashMap<String, Object>();
atrrMap.put("usr_manager_key", Long.valueOf("1")); //user will upadated with manager key 1 (xelsysadm) make sure usr_key 1 (manager) exist in OIM.
//get the user to whom you want to modify
User user = userMgmt.getDetails("usr_key", "41", null);
user = new User(String.valueOf(user.getId()), atrrMap);
UserManagerResult result = userMgmt.modify("usr_key", String.valueOf("41"), user);
//UserManagerResult str = userMgmt.modify("usr_mgr_key","111",new User("41"));
System.out.println("UserUpdate.process() "+result.getStatus());
Also don't use UserManager class, As it will go for looping.
Use
EntityManager entityManager = Platform.getService(EntityManager.class);
entityManager.modifyEntity(orchestrationTarget.getType(), userKey, mapAttrs);
Also I am assuming you want to use Associate manager With user use case.
Thanks,

Thanks for your response and look forward to further help.

AntarpreetHi,
You need not worry at all as this is not a warning (although marked
so in message), and its just an information so you are better able to run
the job RGUGBR00 in SE38 with all the options mentioned in message above
marked.
