Error in Precalculation Settings

Hi All,
I have created a Precalculated Value set.
Now I am creating settings in the query for precalculation broadcasting. While saving the settings, I am getting error:
" Required input variables for queries are not available"
I am not getting where to set this variable setting? Can anybody help me?

Hi,
1st check your workbook, is the varibales are properly coming or not ? if everything is ok then once check in workbook precalculation tab in broadcasting window. there you can see the variables assignment -->change- -> here you can give the variables and finally save it and schedule.

when I use above query I am able to update the region perfectly.
But when I comment last WHERE CONDITION I am getting above problem.
What could be the possilbe reason for this?

We are tyring to set up a precal server for broadcasting. The precal server is running on a windows 2003 server and the service is running under a local admin account.
When we try to run a test workbook, we get the email with the workbook, but there is no data in it.
The Precal server shows us the following log:

Does the query in the workbook require variable input, and, if so, have you provided a variant in the precalculation setting?

Error Saving Localized Settings mean?

In the last month or so, I have received the following message when trying to open videos on the web and even my local weather forecast:
"Error Saving Localized Settings
Application is unable to access your file system "
I get it in Safari (6.0.5) as well as Firefox.
What does it mean?

Good morning:
This is not a new problem as evidenced by some web blogs going back three years.
It started when I disabled Java Script......the victim of a lot of cautionary items on its security issues.
Then odd things wouldn't play such as the hour-by-hour temperature display on a local TV station's site.
And occasional video links off reputable news sites. But not Youtube. Safari and Firefox are both afflicted.
I enabled Java, repaired disk permissions (which I do on a regural basis) plus a few other tricks I know.
Upgrades, etc., all up to date.
No luck.
I have had three I-Macs over 13 years and Apple Care for 12 of those years. Gawd how I miss 'em!

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

in the last five years with my Windows Home Server.

Error while Scheduling Precalculation settings

Hi All,
I have made workbook settings for Precalculation server.
What I did:
I have made a variable in query 2 on one of the characteristics and Given the Processing type as 'Replacement path' .NOw in the replacement path Tab, I hve given 'Query' as input in 'Replace with' option and mentioned the query name (query1) whose output I want to assign to this variable.
Am I going correctly?
After this is done,I did settings in the Broadcaster for precalculation.
When I executed that settings I am getting the following error:
Error Description:Wrong number of arguments
Wrong ID property assignment
Result: Failse
End of MenuRefreshPrecal
Precalculation in thread 4 failed
Cannot precalculate workbook.
I am unable to find out where I am wrong?
Can anybody please tell me the complete step by step process for this starting from creating variable?I know it'll be too lengthy but I am totally new to this & cannot understan what to follow afer what????

Unfortunately the error comes out immediately after the menu selection: if there's an options panel, it doesn't show
Tomorrow I'll be out of office, but next wednesday I'll try to run the tool from the command line and see what happens. In the meanwhile if you have any further suggestion I'll be glad to hear it.

Error Reading DNS Settings

Hey folks, I'm having some odd problems with DNS. Over the weekend I added a second ML server to my network. I changed the hostname on my original server from my FQDN to server1.domain.com.
When I changed the hostname, the server created a new zone with a nameserver and machine record. I deleted those and added the proper information to my domain.com zone. I setup a secondary zone on my second server and everything was peachy. Now today I went in to change a CNAME record and DNS is all hosed up. In console it says it cannot load the zone file from db.domain.com.
I'm getting these errors:

So it would appear that I entered something wrong but when I open my db.domain.com file in /var/named it looks fine.
Any thoughts?

Hi Mplsee08, just a heads up to you and others that this also rectified this symptom on a clients OS X Server V.4 just recently.
I had what seems a corrupt db.domain.name file in /library/server/named
for this reading, I did the following
stopped the DNS on that server where the Server.app was seeing correct settings
renamed (in my case three primary zones)
warwick$ ls -1 /library/server/named
db.1.0.10.in-addr.arpa
db.2.0.10.in-addr.arpa
db.mydomain01.production
db.mydomain02.studio
db.myredirect03.com
localhost.zone
named.ca
named.conf
named.local
rndc.key
zzz_db.mydomain01.production
zzzz_db.mydomain02.studio
zzzz_db.myredirect03.com
start the DNS and reviewed the UI where all reserve DNS records were now available
stopped DNS, rename each of the 3 primary zone back to original, each time starting the DNS until I could see which one was corrupt.
manually added those Machine Records back for that zone using the Server.app/DNS UI

Lately whenever I open iTunes, I get that same error message. At the end of the message it suggests re-installing iTunes, but this didn't correct the error. I looked up the problem on the help and support website and found several articles describing the error and the known possible causes. The problem is since there is more than one cause, there is more than one soulution. I'm not sure about the correct action to take. Please check the following in your system:
- Go to PE03
- feature 'WPROC'
- select 'Attributes'
- press 'Display'
- press 'Struct.'
- there you will find the Basic information 'Passing type'
This must be set to '2' (Table Transfer). If this is set
to '1' i.e. please change this entry.

I have a client who is getting the above error when attempting to change delegate permissions in Outlook 2010.
She is also getting this error when she tries to remove a delegate.
I have tried recreating her mail profile.
I have also tried kb2593557. The auto fix didn't work at all and the registry fix only removes the error message and not the problem. This client would like to be able to edit her delegate permissions.
She is on Exchange 2010
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Error Macro security settings when loading XML data on an RTF template

I was getting the error "The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security settings" and gives me the suggestion when I click the Show Help button below. I tried the suggestion but was still getting the error.

This message can appear if:
The macro was deleted from the template.
The template was not loaded or referenced in the Templates and Add-ins command.
The macro was turned off by the macro security settings of your system.
If the macro security settings are not allowing the macro to run, you should confirm the origin of the macro to be sure that it can be trusted (contact the developer or the source for the macro). You can then temporarily enable all macros by using the following procedure.
Click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Trust Center.
Click Macro Settings.
Under Macro Settings, click Enable all macros.
NOTE: Be sure to change this option back to its original setting after you have run the macro.
If the macro is not accessible because the template is not loaded, click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Add-Ins. At the bottom of the Add-Ins pane, select Templates from the Manage drop down list, and then click Go. In the Templates and Add-ins dialog box, click either Attach or Add. If the macro is not in the template, you may need to copy the macro from one template to another. I just had the same issue on MS 2010 (and I've been using publisher for years). I loaded a ton of office patches. metalink note has the solutions: 1450347.1
for me personall it was a combo of removing the exd file and then running the Regsvr32 command they posted.

I am able to create database table using tcode: SE11
but I get an error when I tried to create table entries

Message no M0421
Diagnosis
The system settings (SE06 and SCC4) are such that you cannot make any changes to this table in this client

-> Automatic recording of changes (Option-selected)
Now I am able to add new entries to tables.
