Error in protecte region blk_mem_gen_v8_2_vhsyn_rfs.vhd

I created the IP Example Design for the AXI Memory Mapped to PCIe core and when I compiled it with Modelsim, I get following error:

I get the same error when using Aldec's RivieraPro. I tried this with Vivado 2015.1 and 2015.2. Is this a known issue?

Hi
I doubt that you are not using the correct set of IP files for simulation.
Use below commands to generate scripts which can be used in modelsim.
set_property TARGET_SIMULATOR Modelsim [current_project]
launch_simulation -scripts_only -of_objects [get_files ip_name.xci]
or you can use the below command too
get_files -compile_order sources -used_in simulation -of_objects [get_files <ip_name>.xci]

Bad Error Message Protection

Hi,
The Security team has requested that they look over our router and switch configs before we deploy them in production.
One thing they mentioned:
"Bad Error Message Protection"
They recommend "setting icmp ignore bogus error responses to 1". I haven't found any Cisco docs on the subject or any commands to enable this. That being said, I haven't tried to configure any bad error message commands because if this is a real concern I want to make sure I am doing it correctly.

ok - it seems problem has been fixed - I was on messenger 3.3 - I downloaded messenger 3.4 and everything seems to work as it should

How can I localize the alert "error: PANIC: fatal region error detected..."

My application may corrupt and the operations therefore may fail and post the alert "error: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery ...", and this alert is directly printed in the main process's window.
My question is how can I do to localize this alert in my thread which just deals with the Berkeley DB database?

I can reproduce this error consistently.. This is how: Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
As soon as I remove SQL 2008 the error went away. Adobe LiveCycle Designer was invoked via OLE2 interface. Apparently SQL Server 2008 (as in my case or some other applications in your case) modified the way OLE2 behaves and therefore causes this error.

I've set this up on a Window XP machine using tomcat 5.5 and java 5 as well as a Redhat Linux machine with tomcat 5.5 and java 5. I'm using the Web Service point for other servers to access the database. Everything starts up and runs for a little while, but I can't seem to pin down what causes the errors. I've run recovery multiple times as well as started new databases. Any help is appreciated.

There's a bug in your use of DB XML somewhere. Are you committing or aborting every transaction that you start, and calling delete() explicitly on all the DB XML objects that you use?
Those errors mean your database has become corrupted somehow.

Error while adding Region

Hi,
I am trying to add a new region to a seeded page. I created a new Region (stackLayout) and added a submit button under it.
I then personalize the seeded page and add a Flexible Layout, Flexible Content. But when I try to extend the FlexContent with my new region (oracle.apps.ap.oie.webui.xxfnButtons) i get the error below:

I have verified that the XML file is present in %JDEV_USER_HOME%\myprojects\oracle\apps\ap\oie\webui. I am also able to run the region by itself.
Am i missing something?

Error in Dynamic Regions load

Hi! I'm new in ADF. My problem is:
I use a Tree like a menu. When we click on tree node, on the right of the page will display form with some Data Control ( I use Dynamic Regions to contain form with Parameter input text and table).
1. When I click on tree node, the Dynamic Regions display form and auto fetching data in table without Parameter input and get error.
2. If Dynamic Region has some button. When I click on it, Region will load back to default region and don't show data to table. How to pass it?

Hi, actually your question doesn't provide lot of hook points 1) I understand the task flow you load in the region does not take a parameter. I don't know though what the error is because you don't tell us anything about it. I assume however that the bean you use to switch between regions is in request or backing bean scope. The scope of the bean should be in view scope 2) This sound like the same problem. The bean you use to switch between regions is in request or backing bean scope. Quick Question regarding an error with editable regions

I am a co-op student and I work with other students as well, on our large company website. I have always been considered the cheif coder, and nobody knew the wesite layout and file directory as well as me. However, something terrible has happened while somebody was updating some information on one of your HTML pages.
I logged in to Dreamweaver CS3 on afternoon to make a very simple text error change on our website. As soon as I hit "synchronize sitewide", it stated that there was no synchronization necessary, although I had already made a change. So then, on the template (.DWT) page, I thought I would backspace any character, and then retype it again in order for the "save" option to appear, so that I could save the template, and have it update all HTML pages, as well as the page that had just said "no synchronization necessary". I thought that I had to update the template first, which was strange, as I never had to do this before.
When I clicked update, the error message that I got was that I have placed an editable region inside of a block tag. I checked the HTML pages as well as our template (.DWT) pages, and indeed, the "Page Header" was embedded in a <h1></h1> pair. The pair appears black and delete-able in the template files, and grey in the HTML files, which is expected. However, I have been working at this institution for four months, and I recall that the <h1> tag pair had always been there since I remember. (How badly did this other person mess up?! =S)
I tried to delete it from the .DWT file (the small editable region, and the <h1> tags), and now, what happens is that if I try to save a template so it updates all other HTML pages before synchronization, the template simply does not update anything, and I get no message whatsoever after clicking Save.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for coping with these many details. I simply want to be able to update HTML pages again, because my boss really needs it, and I have never had such a problem before (having made much larger changes to this same website in the past)

My project was moved to a different server (also ApEx 2.0, but Oracle 9i this time) and when I try to create a region, I get an error.

Error when editing region of the placeholder

I defined a placeholder using the following documentation

To summarize, following are the steps that I followed
1. Created following site assets
     a. One element definition with name BodyContent of wysiwyg
     b. One region definition of name SampleRegionDef. Then added the above element to this region definition
     c. One region template by choosing SampleRegionDef as region def with name SampleRegionTemp. Then inserted the BodyContent element in the region template page. there is no other content in the region template
     d. One Placeholder definition with name SamplePlaceHolderDef and selected the SampleRegionDef as the region and SampleRegionTemp as the template.
2. Next I have created a place holder with name SamplePlaceHolder and selected the SamplePlaceHolderDef for primary and secondary pages.
3. I placed the SamplePlaceHolder on the home page.
4. I assigned a new contributor data file to the place holder (region template)
After doing this I launched the site in contributor mode. I noticed edit icon apperaing for the placeholder. I cliked on edit icon and I see the below error message

Double click on the placeholder that is on you template page
Click on the check box optionally specify place holder definition
Select your place holder definition file from the drop down.
Save template page open in browser go to contribution mode.

Issue resolved. i recreated the whole steps and kept the files at the mentioned path and run the XMLImporter.
and it started reflecting the lookup values.

Error adding editable region in nested template Header

I have a base template for the website (establishing basic
menus), and a secondary template using that base template, which
establishes a common table layout for one part of the site. Having
created the PHP to drive the page, I need to lock down that
secondary nested region - otherwise any edit I make to my secondary
"table-defining" template is not passed through
to the final pages using the secondary template. I have
successfully created a secondary editable region in each part of
the <body> area, and sure enough, it locks down text
outside the secondary editable region just as DW help says it
should. So far so good.
Now the problem - I cannot create a region inside the
<head> editable region to lock down that region too.
Normally one would want keywords and so on to be variable from page
to page, but as I am filling variable keywords from a database, it
makes sense to lock down the <head> too. Does anyone
know why that generates an error "cannot create an
optional region here"? Is there anything that can be done
about it?

Nevertheless, I think I understand what you are saying., but
honestly, I
just wouldn't do it that way. Anymore, my templates are just
one editable
region in the body, and a bunch of server-side includes. I
find nested
templates much too complex, and troublesome to work with, and
have really
never found a scenario where I could do things with them that
I could not do
more easily with other methods.

Is it only you working on the site? Who are you trying to
'lock down'? If
it's only you, I'd forget about this. Invariably the things
like this that
you think are a good idea come back later to bite you.
