Error in Scheduled Task in CF 10 Standard Edi.

Hi Team,
Currently we are facing an issue in Scheduled Tasks options in ColdFusion 10 while we attempting to schedule some tasks. We are using the same facility successfully in ColdFusion 7 Standard edition up to now and the Schedule Tasks works perfectly in that version.
Also the same Scheduled task option we have tested successfully in CF 10 Trial version (Developer Edition) before we purchased the license. Once we updated with the Standard License all schedules were deleted from the list which we scheduled in Trial Version and when we have tried several options to create new tasks, we continued to get the following message
An error occurred scheduling the task.
Advance Scheduling support is not available in this edition of ColdFusion server.
Also as we have checked under Server Updates in CF 10, there is no available updates are listing. Kindly let us know is there any workaround on this issue.

We are on Update 9 and still I am getting the same error as shown in Madu's post. I cannot even update the schedule through the CFSchedule tag.

Server 2012 Scheduled tasks not running after DST

Since the DST change this weekend the weekly scheduled tasks on our 2012 standard server are not running. The schedule show the correct next run time, but the task never runs. The server correctly adjusted for the DST changes (We are in CST in
the US) and if you look in the date time it notified us that the clock was set forward.

Before going further, would you please let me confirm whether only weekly scheduled tasks t run? In other words,
did some daily scheduled tasks run smoothly?
Based on current situation, please create a new weekly
scheduled task and check if encounters the same issue.
If this issue still persists. Please let me confirm if you make scheduled task run some commands or a script,
or others I misunderstand. For an example, if run a script, please directly run it in the Windows Server 2012 Standard and check if there any issue occurred.
Meanwhile, please open Task Scheduler, select this problematic weekly scheduled task, click General tab. Please
check which user account was used to run this task. And please check Run with highest privileges, then check if can solve this issue.
In addition, please check History tab in task Properties. Please pay attention on the time-point when the weekly
scheduled task should be ran, and check if you can find some events at that time-point. It may help us to go further analysis.

KM Scheduler Task Error on SP16

Hi All,
I am trying to create a KM Scheduler Task. However while starting the task it gives me this error.

This is the error that is shown on the component Monitor under System Administration->Monitring->Knowledege Management->Component Monitor.

I am using the SP16 Developer studio to create the scheduler task. There is nothing in the scheduler task just a log message. Still this fails. Is this a bug or I am missing something here.

Hi,
just a guess - do you have your Description field filled in your CM configuration for task? From the trace it seems it could not read the property DESCRIPTION from the Cm configuration.

Error while running custom schedule task.

I have created a schedule task, when I am running the task from sysadmin, it wont show any error message.
In diagnostic log, I got the below error

Make sure you have included the jar file containing the class - com.cgc.iam.customconnector.ac.ReconAC in OIM classpath.

Security Violation Error while running schedule task from OIM.

Hi All,
I am getting this error while running a custom java schedule task from OIM:
*Thor.API.Exceptions.tcAPIException [EJB:010160] Security Violation: User '<anonymous>' has insufficient permission to access EJB:*
type=<ejb>,application=Xellerate,module=xlDataObjectBeans.jar,ejb=tcReconciliationoperations,method=createDeleteReconciliationEvent
at Thor.API.Operations.tcReconciliationOperationsClient.createDeleteReconciliationEvent(UnKnown Source).
I got this error as soon as my code start creating Delete Reconciliation Event.
Note: I have already protected the JNDI Namespace.
Please provide some pointers.

Error while running scheduled task

Im getting this error when I am running a scheduled task for adding all users to a group if they are managers:

Coldfusion 11 Update 4 scheduled task error

My scheduled tasks stopped and on going into Administrator I got:
The system has attempted to use an undefined value, which usually indicates a programming error, either in your code or some system code.
Null Pointers are another name for undefined values.
The error occurred in scheduletasks.cfm: line 190
-1 : Unable to display error's location in a CFML template.
I found some posts referring to earlier versions of CF and the neo-cron.xml file. This file was blank. I replaced with the file from my development server as per the posts.
Can anyone advise why this problem occurred (and has occurred to others)? - I cannot afford to have scheduled tasks anything less than bullet-proof

Scheduled Task - 403 Error

Hi,
We've had our site up for several years now, and haven't had
any problems with Scheduled Tasks.
On July 1st, our websire went PKI certificate only. Now
scheduled tasks don't run and I see several entries like this in my
scheduler log:

Is there any setting I can set in each Scheduled Task or
setting on the server I can run to get around this?

An update, in case someone got the same error.
I just changed the file resources.xml which is located in a folder under WAS_HOME.
Old value: name="ProviderEndpoints" type="java.lang.String" value="Default"
New value: name="ProviderEndpoints" type="java.lang.String" value="<your hostname>:7289:BootstrapSecureMessaging"
At least, the error is not being logged anymore.

Custom Schedule Task error

Schedule Task Logic:
SQL query to get list of user id's
For each user get resource objects
Update UPN for AD resource if Status 'provisioned' or 'enabled'
1) After Schedule task processes 500-600 users i get following error in log for each subsequent user.

Here is the solution:
1) Login to the OIM database as sys and run the query:
SQL> select name,value from v$parameter where name like '%curs%';

open_cursors - 300
change cursor_sharing parameter to *'FORCE'* in the init.ora or spfile, and bounce the database.
2) The method should be isStopped() for checking the Stop Execution checkbox in the shceduler.

E-mailing Scheduled Task Errors

I'm running CF4.5 and we have a number of scheduled tasks
that run daily, weekly, etc. and I'm hoping there's a better way of
finding problems with them than someone in accounting getting upset
because we haven't billed clients in weeks or our daily imported
daily hasn't been updated in three weeks and someone just noticed
now.
Is there a way I can have the system e-mail me with
CFSchedule errors?
I see there's a place for a template to be called when
there's a server error, but I need something more specific.

Not sure if it available in CF 4.5 but there is such a thing
as a Site Wide Error Template in CF MX 6.1.
I use this template to email if there are any problems. This
means it also captures problems from Scheduled Tasks.
Take a look in CFADMIN.

GTC Scheduled task recon error - Bootstrap connections

Hi,
Well, I am getting an error when running the scheduled task which is created automatically when we install GTC conn.
I am running recon of data stored on files and my App Server is IBM WAS.
I am trying to figure out where I should set up the correct bootstrap port number which in my case SIB_ENDPOINT_SECURE_ADDRESS = 7289, and not 7286.
It seems to happen only when I run this scheduled task. For example, built-in scheduled tasks and a full custom scheduled task work properly.
Does anybody know which file or OIM table I should change to redirect it to the right bootstrap port?
BTW, it is a replicated environment and WAS was installed on a different profile, that is why we have a different bootstrap port numbers, not the default ones.

AD User and Group Reconciliation Scheduled Task Error

I am able to perform recon against an oracle database table, however, when I try to perform recon against AD users or groups, I get the following error. Has anyone ever seen a "java.sql.SQLException: Exhausted Resultset" error when running a scheduled task? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello,
I tried "Edit" the GTC connector and "SAVE" the connector back without doing any editing. I hope that will not cause any difference in the deployed corresponding GTC schedule task which used to work earlier.
Anyways, i also checked the trusted source database and populated some new values in there and tried reconciling again (incremental reconciliation configured). Surprisingly i see some new error in the logs. Is this because of the unnecessary "Edit" operation i performed ?
