"Rend Error" when sending image via iChat/AIM
On my brand new iMac aluminum, I am unable to send, and friends are unable to send, images via iChat AIM 3.1.8 (V445). When either of us try to send, we get the message "An undefined AIM error has occured. The server message was: Rend: Error"
I then spin around and use my old G4 iMac to send an image - no problem. My buddy is also able to send to me, no problem.
Both computers are connected to the same Linksys WRT54G router. When I searched for the term 'rend' only one thread came back which suggested to change the port from 5190 to 443. I did this and it didn't help.
Any other suggestions?Hi Craig,
In the Linksys set up pages you have Application and Gaming (Which is where I think you are talking about)
In there there are several options.
Port Forwarding, Port Triggering, DMZ (possibly UPnP Forwarding and QoS)
Disable any Port Forwarding or Port Triggering. DO not use the DMZ.
Save settings. (you should still have Web browsing and Mail abilities).
GO to the Administration tab on the top row.
Enable UPnP.
Save Settings.
UPnP allows multiple computers to use the same ports.
This way the Linksys can be left doing DHCP if you wish and it will not matter if your computer gets a new IP every now and then. Also the Ports are opened by the application and close after a timed period of non use.
You can limit the "Hops" to the number of devices the computer is from the Linksys (1 ?) to make it more secure.
On the main set up page you could limit the the DHCP range to the number of computers you have to prevent outside connections.
The ports you describe so far are only the TExt chatting and file sending ports

ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 Syntax error, parameters in command "MAIL FROM:" unrecognized or missing
This is very weird, when I go to the email queue the column "from" appears as empty and it should come from the email configured from "Administration Email Address".

Not delivered error when sending photos via messages-photos being received
When using messages on iPhone 5 to send photos, I receive a not delivered error but the recipient tells me it has been received. I have tried turning phone off/on, signing out of messages on all devices then signing back in. Still occurring. Any ideas??

Why do I get an undelivered error when sending pictures via iMessage?
When I send picture messages to other iPhone users, I get an error that it was undelivered even though the other person received the picture. I have to send the message as a text to remove the error on my phone. Then the other person receives the same message multiple times. I do not have this issue when I send a picture to a non-Apple phone
Have you tried to download anything else?

Error while sending images via messages
Hi there,
everytime i try to send an image (small size) from my macbook pro using osx mavericks to an iPhone i get an error that ist was not able to send the image.
How can i fix it or is it impossible to send images from macbook (OSX) to iPhone?
RegardsHi,
Are you using anything like Little Snitch (An app that monitors and tells you both incoming and outgoing connections for any App and lists ports and IP addresses involved) ?
This may be blocking the File transfer part of the iMessages side.
DO you happen to have an AIM ID set up in Messages ?
If so can you Transfer Files and pics in an AIM chat ?
(this involves a different File Transfer assistant "app")

"Message Not Sent" Error When sending picture via text message
I have a Droid 2 and I am unable to send a text with a picture. I use the phone in the field and need to send images of land with a text message but so far am unable to do so. I have checked my options settings in My Verizon and do not see anything that may be preventing from doing this function. It is not a signal strength problem. Also this is not an intermittent problem. It just will not send a text with a picture 100% of the time. Not having a problem with regular texting. Can anyone help. Thanks
Thank you community!
Hello dash9,
The community gave great options. I know the picture messaging is important to your job. If the community suggestion did not assist I would like to help. Are you able to send pictures when you are not in the field? When you are unable to send a picture are you able to access the internet? Have you successfully sent a mms in this area before? Please advise me of this information so I may further assist. Thank you. -

Getting Error while posting through KB11N : No true sender object entered
HI Expert,
We have stastical internal order defined and same we are using in Asset. Let me explain the scenarion.
We created the Purchase requisition with the stastical Internal Order then we did Purchase Order and MIGO -Goods Receipt.
Now we realised that wrong Internal Order was used. Now we want to tranasfer cost from that Internal order to New Internal Order. we are trying to post through KB11N but while giving the all details i am getting error as per below;
No true sender object entered
Message no. BK175
Diagnosis
You have entered a statistical object as a sender. Statistical objects, however, are only intended for use with dual account assignments.
Procedure
1. If you require a dual account assignment, enter a true object as a sender also.
We are using cost element with having cost element category 90.
I don't no which is the true sender Object.
Thanks in advance
ealry help will be highly appreciated.Your postings had happened to a statistical internal order. I hope the real postings might have happened to a cost centre.
You cannot settle anything from a statistical internal order. It is just for information purpose only. If the above posting had captured a cost centre (real posting), you can distribute/assess the cost from the cost centre to a real internal order for your purpose. -

Regards,
Mónica.Hi Christian.
You could put the lines of your list in a table of type SOLISTI1 and then use the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the content of this table. You have to fill the table RECEIVERS with the address you want to send the report to.
Hope that helps,

Libmtp error: could not send object info
I have an HTC One m8, and a laptop running Arch Linux. I installed gvfs-mtp, and my computer detects my phone and the files inside of it. I use the GNOME desktop environment, and it's default file manager.
If I try to transfer files to my phone, I get an error reading:
There was an error copying the file into mtp://[usb:003,005]/SD%20card.
"libmtp error: could not send object info".
I am not sure how to fix this. i tried reinstalling libmtp and gvfs to no avail.
I want to be able to connect my phone to my computer, and transfer files through my file manager. Any help would be appreciated..
