Error in Transport of Authorization Object

Hi,
I have created a authorization object in my development and transported it to testing. In the transport log I can see that it was succesfully imported but I am not able to see the Authorization object in SU21 of testing system but I tried to see that Authorization object through SUIM and able to see that object.
I tried to create a sample role and assign this authorization object manually to that role but not able to do that.
Can any one help me in this issue.

Yes I forgot to transport Authorization class. I have done that now and able to access the Authorization object.
Can you please let me know the complete process whether we have to transport only Authorization class...
Then the Authorization object will be transported on its own..

Transport Of Authorization Objects

Hi,
I have created the authorization objects in Development server. After creating we have selected the Infocubes from the option 'Check for infocubes'. This is working properly.
Same I have transported to Quality. My reports are working but the authorisation objects has no impact.
I have transported only the info-objects and the auth objects. Please let me know do I need to transport the Infocubes which I have selected at the time of creating the auth objects. Because When I am viewing the auth objects in quality, no infocubes are seen (Check for infocubes option)
Please advise.

u need to transport the infocubes as well.
because rssm u link that authorization object with infocube.if u do not do this,your authorization object is not checked in queries for that infocube.
so u need to transport them and then tick them in rssm

Hello Pankaj.
On RSSM transaction enter your authorization object, Select Transport object and Hierarchies button.
Which prompts a screen,there select your object and select continue.
In the next screen a list will display cancel that screen, now it would prompt you for a transport request.
Enter the type of request you wish to create as "Workbench Request" then provide you request name else create it.
Thus would be available in SE09 screen.
Assign points if helpful.

Error in LIME Query-Authorization object C_Lime_Loc cannot be checked..

I am very new to SAP Basis. i am facing the subject mentioned error in one of the user in a client when i run MM03 T.code.Su53 is showing Successful.
Temporaily ,I have provided the user with Profile SAP_ALL along with roles specified for the user and things are working fine.
i have tried assigning this object to all the Roles in the user but still in vain. Request some guidance to resolve this problem and thus removing the SAP_ALL profile to the concern user.Thanks in advance.

Actally the error reads: Error in Lime Query:Authrization object C_Lime_Loc cannot be checked.
SU53 is displaying last authorization is successful.
i have already added the object C_LIME_Loc to all the roles and checked the T.code MM03 without SAP_ALL profile.but failed.
I had compared the t.code su24 output in the user once with SAP_ALL profile and once without SAP_ALL and found both has same(identical) checked value. need help as i can feel that there is some authrization in SAP_ALL which is missing in my roles. how do i detect this....how do i check the objects in SAP_ALL related to this error.

Error in Transport of BW Objects

Hello Experts,
We have some standard cubes activated in DEV, and we are trying to transport it to QAS. We had defined source systems(R/3 QAS) in Dev from which we have extracted data. Now we want to have the source system in QAS. But simple activation of info objects is throwing me the above error. As you rightly said. its transported but not activated.
As I understand that Number ranges are never transported and has to be created in individual clients (same as R/3)
But here the scenario is such that we have never defined the number ranges of these objects in DEV. All we have done is activation (as I mentioned earlier)
But it is also true that if we explicitly create number ranges for these objects in BW QAS, these errors are going away.
So the fundamental question is which all number ranges we have to create is there any way to understand what all number ranges do we needor is it only retrospectively donei.e. as and when the error comes we define the number ranges..
I believe this cant be a standard SAP thing .and we are going wrong fundamentally somewhere.

Error during transport of info object

Dear all,
We are using BI7.0 During transport of the infoobject "0MAINTPOS" the following error is appearing.
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBJ_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBJ (Activation Mode)
Characteristic 0CM_CTAR: Unit 0UNIT_DIM no allowed in compounding
Characteristic 0CM_SHAR: Unit 0AREA_UNIT no allowed in compounding
Can anyone tell what has to be done to get this error solved.

Error while transporting the workflow object

Hi all,
Please be informed that while i transported the workflow changes to test system i encountered the sy-subrc 8 error as stated in below screen shots.

Seems that the transport error is showing that your ID has locked the Workflow (user REDDYRAN).
Can you do a syntax check of the workflow transported in this transport - in pftc and swdd? Do we get any error?
Also see if you can execute FM SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 in Quality (in SM37) - provide the IM_TASK = WSxxxxxxxx (your workflow number).

Error during Transporting ID objects in PI 7.1

I am facing error during transportation of ID objects MY PI is 7.1 version In IR i have exported SWCV it generated .tpz file but in ID if am exporting it is throwing error

Problem in transporting authorization object

Hi,
I am facing a problem in transporting the authorization object. We have an existing cube in development and production. In production the object has 3 authorization objects checked. Now I want to change the authorization object assignment in my cube. So I changed the assignment in the development, but when I tried to transport the authorization object it collected all the cubes where the authorization object is used.
I want to transport only the authorization object associated with that cube, not all. I understand that logically if we are transporting the authorization object from RSSM, it takes all the assignments. But I don't want to do that because there may be some inconsistencies between the system.
Can you tell me weather we have any other way, so that the authorization object is transported only for one particular cube assignment not all.

Can you please tell me the steps.
Steps I have done are as follows.
1. Go to RSSM and select the authorization object.
2. We have a button which says transport authorization object. I clicked on that.
3. I got a list of all the authorization objects there. I selected my authorization objects and clicked on Transfer Object button.
4. Then I get the hierarchy authorization objects.
5. After that I selected a request and everything is included in that request. I didn't got your above mentioned option.
Do you want me to go to the table RSSTOBJDIR and delete all the other entries??
It would be great if you can tell me the steps to do that.

Transporting authorization object (RSSM)

I am having problem transporting my BW Custom authorization object over to the Quality system.
I have successfully transported the table contents RSSTOBJDIR to the Quality system. However, when I search for the authorization object in RSSM in Quality after the transport , it complained saying u201Cobject is not available. Create?u201D
How can I transport the authorization object?

Yes you can transport an authorization object.
It should give you an option to create a TR which creation of the auth obj in RSSM. If you have not done that then try to make a small change and see if it requests you to create a TR. If still you are not able to do it, then try adding the objec of typr R3TR - SUSO and give your authorization object name in SE03.

Transport Authorization object

Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this issue:
I tried to transport an Authorization object but when it's in productive, the part of the infocubes doesn't appear, If I select Check for Infocubes ( tr RSSM), it's empty. But in the develop system appears the infocubes.
So I don't know if I have to do something else.

Transport ur cube once again and just cross chek wat is mising in ur prod system or wat ever sys u are comp to with ur delv sys and after moving it just chek if u can see data in ur cube,i think if it was showing u authorization prbm in the dev system it will show u the same thing in the prod system(RSSM) and if it shows the authorization prbm, ask ur basis team to give u the authorization for particular object which ever is being restricted to u

Dear all,
We are facing the following error while transporting the individual configuration objects from our PI development system.
Export failed: Internal error during pvc call: Parameter versionSpecifier or version has the invalid value null .
However, it works fine when the complete configuration scenario is transported.
We tried to transport the objects with different user id's, even then the issue still exists.
Any inputs to resolve this will be highly helpful.

Answer is inside this oss [Note 1554387 - Error during export from Integration Directory|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1554387]. In this oss note, solution is to apply a patch (just a patch, not a SP). as it's a litle sap bug...

BI authorization objects not appearing in RAR, error while generating role

I am facing certain problems relating to integration of BI module version 7 with GRC Access Controls version 5.3 and support package 06. I am describing the problems in details below:
(a) In Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR) component, I am creating Functions and
      Risks for Business Intelligence (BI) module. For that I have downloaded the
      descriptive text and authorization object data from BI development system and
      uploaded the same in RAR. Then I have created 2 Function Ids DBI1 (having action
      RSA1) and DBI2 (having actions RSA11, RSA12, RSA13, RSA14, RSA15) and 1
      Risk Id for BI (having Function Ids DBI1 and DBI2) in RAR. But when I checked
      the permission tabs of the Function Ids DBI1 and DBI2, I could not find any
      authorization objects for the actions in them.
(b) In Enterprise Role Management (ERM), when I am trying to create a Role TEST-BI
       in DBI 100 and I put the BI transaction codes in authorization data , I get the
       authorization objects . Risk analysis is also being done successfully. But at the time
       of Role generation in background mode , it is giving an error message :
       Error generating role TEST-BI for system DBI 100: Unable to interpret * as a number.
       I am thus unable to generate any role in DBI 100.
(c) In Compliance User Provisioning (CUP), I have imported a standard role from DBI
      100. Then I have added Functional Area, Business Process, Subprocess and
      Criticality Level to this role in CUP. But when I try to assign this Role to an user, it
       gives an error Error creating request. But requests are getting created and roles are
       being assigned to users in ECC development systems using the same Initiator, CAD, stage
       and path.
Can anyone please help me ?
