Error in Transport requests

Dear All,
We are having 3 clients Golden(500), Unit testing(100) and Quality(200) for one of my ongoing project.
All the configurations are done in Golden Client and for doing unit testing we are transporting the transport request by transaction SCC1.
Till now it was O.K, but from last 2 days Iam getting errors while transporting the requests, error message is "Cannot open log:
SAPDEV\sapmnt\trans\log\CC000800.D11
Message no. TA074".
Please suggest.

Hi ,
Why you are transporting it ? Let BASIS guy to handle it. Normally functional guys will be creating (releasing in some cases , depends on process) the transport request. And more over not all people will be having SCC1 authorizations.
So let your BASIS guy handle it

Hi All,
we have ECC 6.0 on Unix environment.
we had copied a production client with group selection, as we wanted all the three system PRD,DEV,QLT in sync.
the export was succesfully done.i copied Cofiles & Datafiles which are generated in DEV & Quality server,then i add request no in transport queue. the time when i copied transport request was not releasing from development.we checked the destination it was full so we removed the old request. then req is releasing.
after that i deleted the Cofile & datafile from OS level of DEV & QLT & trying to delete the reques from request queue. it is deleted but when im refreshing the queue its coming back in the queue.
while transporting other request its giving me error.
please help out me.

Error to transport request when activate the Data Source: 2LIS_13_VDKON

Hi people,
When I try to transport the request about my activation from Standard DataSource 2LIS_13_VDKON, the systen (in ECC6) show me a error:
" 8: Transport carried out with errors.
Individual objects could not be transported successfully"
I already entered in the transaction RSO2 and obseved that the structure is activated.
Coulld you help me?

It is correct..
We didn´t do any enhancement.
But here, the Client´s are closed for the changes and we only do this in the Development Client (only that is opned) to transport it later to other Client (example: Quality Client or Production Client).
And the problem occurs exatly at the moment we liberate from Development Client to other Client.

Hello Chandra,
CC* files denote the Client copy logs. They also include logs for SCC1 transports.
Do one thing. Through AL11 go to the path <sap drive>\usr\sap\trans\log and then look for the CC000800.D11. If you dont see it doesnot exist. If it does then try opening it. If it doesnot open then we have problems with the OS level permissions. If it does open then look for the transport request which was imported through it and check its logs. There must be something with the transport that is causing the error. May be the file is still open and locked by some other processes.

Repair error in transport request with return code-0008

Hi Ajeet,
Make sure that all the tasks whith in the request are released and they are in active state as well. Discuss with the owner of the CR and check all the objects are in active state and all the tasks are released. You can check with the logs as well to het more clues.

Error during transport request import - how to get it's text at runtime?

Would be glad if someone can give me an advice.
Suppose we are importing a transport request to a system. And an error occurred during import.
In my program I want to display why the transport failed. How can I get the error message text with description of what is wrong? The same we can see at the transport log?

If you mean reading the Transport Log of a request you can use this FM
data: lines type table of TRLOG.

You just have to figure out which directory is you system using to store the Transport Logs. Also note that in this case UE6 it would be the logical name of your system and E7DG900147 the transport request number.

Error in Transport Request PRD to Test application

Dear all,
We are in process of doing reverse transport from PRD to TEST system. i have opened the PRD system and collected the objects in TR and once again done the transport of copies in PRD system
after transport of copies, i tried to import the TR in TEST transport queue. once i tried to import the same i got the below error.
Please advise what needs to be done. Any help would be appreciable.

Hi,
when creating Transport Requests in the Production system the requests are created as local requests that can't be transported between systems, and when the Transport Request is released the Data and Cofiles are not created.
You need to change the client settings with Tx SCC4 to allow the creation of Transport Requests.
You need to create a Temporary Transport Layer and Temporary Transport Route from Production to Test System. When you create the Transport Request make sure the transport request is using this newly created transport layer and has a target system.(Package also) when you release this request, the data and cofiles will be created. The transport request should also appear in the import queue of the Test system.

Error regarding Transport Request in Queries

Hi all,
We are facing this problem in Queries, we have a certain query, when I try to change it ,it is throwing an error saying that a particular Transport request is not available. I have checked in SE09 (Transport Organizer) and that perticular request as said does not exists. If I Try to generate a new Transport Request for the query,then again, I am not able to as an error occurs saying that the objects present are in different systems.
Has anyone faced a similar kind of situation before??
By the way we have upgraded to NW 2004s.

Hi Partha,
go to - transport connection - click on Bex icon - Assign a request or create a new request and assign to Bex.
System would look for a transport request to save all the changes done to the queries, if one isnt assigned, the system wouldnt allow you to edit any of the queries.

Error releasing transport request for change document object

Hi Gurus,
I created a new change document object for a Z-table. When i try to release the transport request in the development system it terminated with a message "Export application-defined objects 17.12.2009 11:07:45 Not yet executed". The transport request continued to be in the "Release started" status and i am not able to release it.
I checked in the co file & data file directory for this request, The co file is available but the data file is not created.
Could you please let me know how to solve this?

It was a problem with some basis settings. Was rectified by the basis team.

Error in transporting request through charms

Dear Experts ,
recently refreshed my quality systems data with production data ..and finished successfully, but we did not take any screenshots before doing refresh in quality
my problem is we already configured charms in solution manager to transport requests to production system ...
now we are not able to transport request through charms .. because rfc connections are changed in quality ...
please let me how can i recollect quality rfc connections for charms ...
i dont have idea about charms configuration to reconfigure in quality.... please help in this

Hi,
You need to transport the ODS 1st and then the transformation.
The main reason for most of the transports to fail is:
1)Transporting each and every object in the same transport request.
Ideally,
          u2022The Infobjects should be transported first in a separate request.
          u2022Then the Data source and the Info providers (Cube, ODS, Data source and Multiproviders) together in a separate request.
           u2022At the end the transformations and the DTPu2019s in an another separate request.
If the above mention sequence is followed while transporting the transport failures can be avoided.
2)Also when a change is made to an ODS (I object added or deleted) it should again be transported along with the transformation but in separate request.
I.e. the ODS 1st and the transformation.

m getting an error while i transport my request to production system.request successfully got transported into quality but in production its givind following message..
"Temporary log
sapbi\sapmnt\trans\tmp\RBDR903024.RBP not found"

Error in transporting request

I was trying to release the TR.
1st i released the task and then i tried to release the respective TR, while Releasing TR, I am getting the status message "Request does not have mandatory attribute "ZBC_AREA".
PLEASE GUIDE ME TO SOLVE THE ISSUE.

TR mandatory attributes are defined in the Table : WBOATTR : CTS: Request Attributes.
Check this table once.
By maintaing in this table the required entry,you can resolve this error.

Error during transport request

Hi gurus,
I'm transporting my development work to the QA system
but getting the following error
"Source system BEDCLNT100 does not exist; InfoPackage ZPAK_D38W1M39WD1ETKF5YEFM2CDUS deleted"
This error repeated for all my info packages
Can anyone help me on this

I guess, this source system is a R/3 one.
Normally from R/3 quality all source systems should be replicated to BW Quality.
     If so, Please check in source system mapping.
          Tools->conversion of logical system names.
      check there whether your source system mapped with the    target system. and once it is done check your source system in Quality, and replicate it.

Error while importting Transport Request

Hi,
I am getting following errors while Transporting requests from Development to Test System
Error getting fields for PSA /BIC/B0000643
Error occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT ofr DTPA L
The Transport request just contains one Transformation the corresponding DTP.
We are using BI 7 for Bank Analyzer and have just imported SP11. This problem has started coming only after the import of SP11.

Yes the DS were active. I tried to re-transport that too but the TR failed with similar error.
Finally I tried to manually activate the DTP in the Target system and got the same error. I rectified the problem by deleting the DTP from the Target system. But I am not sure why this happened. Please let me know if you have any idea abt the same.
