Error in transporting WF workflow task
Hello,
I face an error when moving WF workflow task from Dev to QA.
System is 4.0B.
The QA transport log shows (errors in bold):
Subsequent processing RH_ACTIVATE_PDOBJECT_AFTER_IMP for PDWS T started at 20:23:01
Time... 20:23:02 Run time... 00:00:01
Start activation of object WF 91000095 (client: 100) 202302
<b>Error while activating</b>
Time... 20:24:00 Run time... 00:00:58
<b>Errors occurred during post-handling RH_ACTIVATE_PDOBJECT_AFTER_IMP for PDWS T</b>
Post-handling RH_ACTIVATE_PDOBJECT_AFTER_IMP belongs to development class SP00
<b>The errors affect the following R/3 components:</b>
<b>BC-BMT-OM (Organizational Management)</b>
In QA, the new version of the WF - created and activated in Dev - does not appear at all. I checked OSS Note 138411 - Collective note: PD Transports and OSS Note 88180 - Error during import postprocessing (Org.unit) but they didn`t help.
In Dev, the new version of the WF was saved and activated and manually inserted in a customizing request from tr. PFTC. The transport included object <b>R3TR TDAT PDWS</b> with entries for HRP, HRT and SWD_* tables, with records for the WF task.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
Krisztian
Hi Ravi,
WS and TS tasks are recorded in changes, only the WFs and Ts are not. This is because some Personal Development objects are not to be transported, hence automatic transport connection for these is deactivated in IMG. Since WFs and Ts are considered as PD objects, the automatic transport is deactivated for them as well. For WFs and Ts manual transport is available in PFTC.
This is unfortunate but this is how it`s set.
On the other hand, version management is not something that works too well for workflows anyway (at least in 4.0B). You can`t see the differences in two separate versions like you would in a program. And in WFs and Ts you are able to generate versions just like for WSs and TSs for version management. So from my point of view manually transporting WFs and Ts are not the issue. But I may be wrong...
Nevertheless I activated automatic transport connection and did a change in Dev like that. The transport created was moved to Acc, but still same problem...
So I`m running out of clues.. maybe I just overlooked something...
Thanks
Krisz

Error while transporting the workflow object
Hi all,
Please be informed that while i transported the workflow changes to test system i encountered the sy-subrc 8 error as stated in below screen shots.Hi Ranjith
Seems that the transport error is showing that your ID has locked the Workflow (user REDDYRAN).
Can you do a syntax check of the workflow transported in this transport - in pftc and swdd? Do we get any error?
Also see if you can execute FM SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 in Quality (in SM37) - provide the IM_TASK = WSxxxxxxxx (your workflow number).

Hi,
I am using the ABAP class and method in the workflow task. The task is going under error every time. If i am passing the same data to the funciton module inside the method it works fine. What could be the cause for this? The Task is having no syntax errors.
Thanks
RaghavendraYou can test the Method from SWO1. If there is no error then there is s aproblem with binding. Analyse the Task container and according check your method.

BSP link to Workflow task after transport - trans BDLSS
I was able to call a BSP from SAPGUI inbox (trans SBWP) by doing the necessary config in transactions WF_HANDCUST and WF_EXTSRV - generate my task from WF_EXTSRV, etc. The task was generated as a local object but I converted this to a transportable object.
This worked in our development system.
I need to get this into a test system and all the config/workflows was transported correctly. However the link between the bsp and task is not on table SWLWPTSSID as in dev 010.
Iu2019m trying to run transaction BDLSS or report RBDLSMAP to convert the table but that does not appear to be working. What table should I convert in trans BDLSS? Does anyone have any idea what Iu2019m doing wrong? All,
Resolved this. Here is the solution -
It came down to bad/missing entries in table SWLWPTSSID. This is the table that links the web service maintained in WF_EXTSRV with the workflow task. As it is a client-dependent setting, when you transport the task and webservice you also need to adjust this table using transaction SM30.

Error within General Task: Register transport request in task list
Dear all,
I would like to register transports into a task list. When I try to do so I get the following error:
Error RFC destination SPROJECT_GET_SMI_DATA_R: Projekt: ZCHARM_DQ
Message no. /TMWFLOW/TASKLIST191
Some one got an idea where the problem might be?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards
DanielHi Daniel,
This error is reported in SDN blog /people/dolores.correa/blog/2009/07/22/change-request-management-scenario-usual-questions-and-known-errors
in point 21
21. Missing authorization for READ RFC connections
Our default authorizations for remote READ RFC users (created in SMSY) do not allow us to read transport requests information. But READ RFC users are used extensively in Charm to get those information. It is a bug in SMSY which has not been fixed by now. So currently for such kind of messages we have to ask our customer to manually add appropriate authorizations (e.g. profile S_TMW_CREATE) to those READ RFC users.
- Open transport requests are not marked as red when release them from task list.
Note 1279558 - Red Question Mark Icon Missing from Charm Transport Release
- "Error RFC destination SPROJECT_GET_SMI_DATA_R" when register outside transport requests into Charm.
Please assign enough authorizations to all those READ RFC users on their DEV system (including client 000).
- Cannot complete maintenance cycle due to "Error RFC destination /TMWFLOW/TL_COMPL_CHK_TR_WO_TL"
Please assign enough authorizations to all those READ RFC users on their DEV system (including client 000).
- Transport request information is missing in the result of Charm Reporting.
Please assign enough authorizations to all those READ RFC users on their DEV system (including client 000). And after that they should re-execute background job SM:TMWFLOW_CMSSYSCOL to update those information on Solution Manager system again.
Hope this helps,

SP2013 Customize Workflow Task Form with InfoPath 2013 - Unknown error occurred
Hi everyone,
After creating "Collect data from user" workflow using SharePoint designer, I need to customize the task form. But when I open the .xsn file (SharePoint generated), without editing anything (for testing purpose), and publish it, I got the message
box: "An unknown error has occurred. The form template has been published to the server but it can only be opened in InfoPath Filler". I test the same scenario in SharePoint 2010, and it worked. It really annoys me.
No exception in the log file, and no solution after much searching around.
Please help.Hi john_d
I got the solution to customize the Workflow task form. We cannot customize the workflow task form from InfoPath 2013, and if some how you are able to publish the task form it then when you publish your workflow then it your workflow will overwrite
the default task form to your customized one.
So the solution for it is that whatever fields you want to add to the task form you can just in "TASK FORM FIELDS" and it will display in your task form when you publish your workflow. -

Sasidhar KHi Sasidhar,
I'd first suggest installing any available updates on both Outlook and SharePoint sides for the issues related with Outlook integrated with SharePoint,
Also, please take a look at this thread which disscused the same issue and see if it helps. <Steve_MTC> had a good summary of his findings:

Error While Transporting Transformation
Hi Gurus, I have this issue that I am getting an error while transporting Transformation. I made sure that that only transformation is sected and nothing else. I am getting this error message while importing it in BWQ environment "Formula 4AY060939P5D2NKRXKMJFECLS is already locked in the requests of other users or the system is set so that formula 4AY060939P5D2NKRXKMJFECLS can no longer be changed."
I was wondering, if this is locked by some other object or transport request, how can I find that out? Thanks in advance for all the help.Hi,
You can check if the request is locked by another transport in BWQ by using the transaction SE03.
First find the object directory entry for your object(you can take this from your transport. Go to SE03 --> 'Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks '. Under object selection enter the details as in your transport and select the check box against your new entry. Under Request/Task selection, select 'Modified' and 'Released'. Execute. You will now see a list of transport requests that contain your transformation. Check these & either release them or delete your object from the modifable transports. Re import your transport.
You can check if this object was locked by a person using the transaction SM12.

Workflow task list is missing or damaged. SharePoint 2010
SharePOint 2010 Enterprise
Customer created workflows for the annual review of our QPC Emergency Plan.
The document library shows that there is a EP_Review workflow “In Progress” for each section. However if you click into the “In Progress” link to see the actual progress of the workflow it shows no Visio diagram, it’s just a blank white
space (not even an error message) and under the Tasks section it gives the message:
"The workflow task list is missing or damaged. Please contact your administrator for more information"
I looked in the Task List and there are no tasks showing, which normally does show when we kick off a workflow.
I ran a report on the EP_Review workflow for Cancellations and Error messages and the system comes back with the following error message: "Report contains no Data"
Log says:

Thanks for any inputHi mikeatquestar,
it seems you may need to check if should the task able to create at your environement,
you may try this at your development environment first:
Saved a task list as a template from a working site collection and moved the template to the problem site collection. Used this template to create a new list, and associated this list to the Workflows task list.

Hi all,
I am a newbie to adobe livecycle process. I am trying to prepopulate the data like the users info when the form is originated in the workspace.
I did use the samples example for form render service but added to variables called first and lastname as i want these fields to be populated.I am also using an xmlvariable which stores the xml data-(first name and last name) from the form (i got the xml data from the jDBC service usingquery multiple rows by quering edcpricnipal entity). I have followed the steps from http://www.roland-lopez.com/blog/index.cfm?event=showEntry&entryId=ECB034DA-3048-5304-BA9 BB7B0DEDC725A.
Now I am trying to use the sevice in my application. hennce I created a input variable called app_info of type xfa form and in advanced settings I called the render service which is created before. I am using a PDF file in resources.
When I try to open the form in workspace I get the error
An error occurred creating the form (task 2348, form 0). (ALC-WKS-007-040)
In the erroe log I get the the following error -

Error when reassigning a custom task process
Hello!
I have an error when reassigning a custom task process.
That is what I see at the workflow history: Task assigned to xxx was delegated by xxx. Coments: xxx
However in the second line of the history an error is shown with the following information:
Event type: error
User ID: System account
Description: An error has occurred in nameofthetask
No new task is created for the user who the task was reassigned to.
Any help would be appreciatedHi,
From the error message, I
guess that you come across an OOTB Approval
Workflow.
When you define your workflow, there is a section "Enable content Approval Workflow Activities", where you can check "Update the approval status after the workflow is completed (use
this workflow to control content approval)". If you check this option, and you do not have content approval enabled on the library level, you get the system account error message. If you do not check it, everything works fine.
Or you can go to the document library settings and go to Versioning Settings Page, set "Require content approval for submitted items to?" to yes and everything should be fine.
Refer to the following blogs about the similar issue:

SharePoint 2013 workflow task gets canceled
Just wanted to share my solution to a problem that I was having when creating a SharePoint 2013 Workflow that includes creating a task and assigning it to a group of people. After publishing the workflow and initiating it you get:
Retrying last request. Next attempt scheduled in less than one minute.

I was not able to find any answer anywhere, so my solution was:
1. Simply upgrade SharePoint Server 2013 to the latest version which in turn updates Microsoft.Activities.Proxy.dll
2. Clear the SharePoint Designer cache

ThanksHi Amit,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to approve workflow task using web service in SharePoint 2013.
For troubleshooting this issue, please provide the more detailed code.
Here are some similar posts, please check if they are useful:

Issue Transporting Business workflow from one System to Another
Hi All,
As there are many limitations in Import/Export of Workflow I'm going for a Transport of Workflow from one sytem to another.
There are some query's reagrding transporting of the Business Workflow through Transport Request.
1) How can get the Transport Request no. of the Workflow to be transported? (As there are no direct versions displayed from menu).
2) If there are any dependent objects first how to find the dependent objects lof workflow like if any data element, Domain, Table, Structure (if these objects are used in your WF definition or may be BOR method), Function module, function group BOR, Rule, WF template, task and Task assignment ?
3) How to get Transport Request no. of such dependent objects specifically The Task,Rule , WF template etc.?
4) I have object Type ZBUS2081 related to it how can i get its TR ?
Please describe as I'm new to workflow.
Please identify if there can be some issues after transporting workflow .
Regards,
UjjwalHi Ujjwal,
Please find the below hint's.
1. Regarding the objects included in the Transport request check the Tables - E070*.
2. For dependent objects, you should check the workflow template. You have to check all the Task's and in the task go to
utilities ---> Object directory entry --> Lock overview . Here you can see the request. It will show you the current request for the Task.
3. To get the TR for Business object, Go to basic data ---> Transport data --> Here you can see the Request ID for the business object.
Thanks,
Viji.
