Error in using PERFORM in eventhandler in a BSP Application.
Hi All,
Can we use Subroutines in BSP applications?
If yes then please help me with syntax .
Best Regards,
Anubhav.

You can call subroutine with below Synatx:
DATA: progname(20) TYPE C VALUE 'YTESTINCLUDE' .
PERFORM your_perform_name IN PROGRAM (progname) IF FOUND.
"where your_perform_name is the form within the include program YTESTINCLUDE[/code]

Can I use message class(from se91) in BSP applications
Hi,
Can I use message from message class(se91) to display in pages of BSP application.
Best Regards
RayuduHi,
Thanks for response.
How can I get se91 message in onInput processing?
I understand that for long texts i can use OTR texts. Weather I need to maintain OTR texts for simple error messages?

How to set up use of relative URLs for a BSP application
Dear all,
I need to access a BSP application through our external portal.
This is failing because generated URLs are absolute URLs (they mention physical server name, not known of course on the internet) where they should be relative URLs (they use external portal URL as prefix).
How to set this up?
I'm logged on http://myportal.com/irj/portal and want to call a BSP application. To build this page, my internet client (Internet Explorer) tries to get elements from the server. Looking at HTTP trace, I can see that my IE is trying to reach the physical server, not known on internet of course, then page loading fails.
Ex absolute URL : http://myservername.domain.com/sap/bw/[...]/image1.gif
This is the behavior I can see at the moment.
Relative URL : http://myportal.com/sap/bw/[...]/image1.gif
This is what I'd like to see.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
FrançoisAny idea ?

Error when using same QueueSession in a multi threaded application
I have deployed a OSSJ Trouble Ticket refererence Implementation on Sun Java System App Server Platform Edition 8.1 default server.
The TT server listens on queue MessageQueue and sends its reply on MessageReplyQueue
The application that sends the request to the TT server should support concurrent requests using threads.
The sender application creates a QueueConnection and a QueueSession.
This QueueSession is shared by all the threads that send the request to the TT server.
Each thread creates its own QueueSender, TemporaryQueue which is set as replyTo in the message, QueueReceiver using the TemporaryQueue in the run method
When the application is run multiple times i get the following exception

}A session is single threaded (so it can not be used by different threads and generate valid behavior). This behavior is covered in @ setion 4.4 of the JMS specification
If you need multiple threads to process messages you should either:
* have them share a single session
* read messages in from the session in a single thread and pass them off to
other threads processing the message
On the second option, you must have the "reading" thread also acknowledge the message in client acknowledge (or commit in transactions) -
Performance Issue with BTF editor( BSP application when Calling in WD ABAP)
Hi All,
In one of the requirement, I am trying to call the BTF Editor From WD ABAP application.
When i am trying to open the BTF Editor, it is taking time to load.
Can any one help men on this ....What I need to do in BTF Editor / WD ABAP application to improve the performance.
Thanks in Advance,
AneelThese really aren't web dynpro abap questions. Web Dynpro ABAP is just the frame around the BSP and you are really asking questions about the use of the BTF within BSP. I think these questions would be better suited to the BSP forum. I will move this thread to that forum. However before I do, I should warn you that such iFrame integrate is not recommended. The iFrame is actually deprecated in 7.0 and 7.01 (but does return to support in 7.02). You should note that the iframe has no session management and the BSP within the iFrame will have a separate user session from the surrounding Web Dynpro ABAP. The recommendation for such integration is to use the Portal or the NWBC and integrate these ase two different iViews within one Portal Page. In 7.02, you could also use the Page Builder and a URL CHIP to perform this integration.

"An unspecified error occurred while performing a conform action on the following file:"
Has anyone else gotten this error in any of their projects? I've searched around Adobe support pages and elsewhere on the internet, but have found nothing.
It comes up in the events window and I can't even read what file it's talking about because it's on the next line, but the error message only shows one line and I haven't figured out a way to expand it.
I'm not even sure if it's causing any problems, or not (the project seems to work ok). This message shows up twice, as a red circle with an 'X' in it, but I also get the following message numerous times referring to a large amount of my .avi files:
"File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of filename.avi. Reading and writing this file's metadata (XMP) has been disabled."
That message shows up as a yellow triangle with an '!' in it. Since I haven't been able to turn anything up about these messages, I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone knew what was going on, how to fix the problem or if I should even worry about them.
Thanks.I am having this problem now when i use dynamic link from Premiere to after effects. I copy the footage from premiere then paste into after effects, i add alittle text maybe some light rays etc save it then go back to premiere. Then i get this message "An unspecified error occurred while performing a conform action on the following file C:\Caches\Media Cache Files\text comp 1 48000.cfa." does anyone have any idea as to what this is? i have had a few problems using the dynamic link from premiere to after effects problems such as Premiere freezing, not playing the after effects comps back in real time, crashes etc. Its as if the 2 programs dont like the dynamic link.
Im running Master Collection CS5 & CS 5.5 on running on a 24gb ram, Intel Core i7 950 @3.07GHz PC with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX470 graphics card. -

Hi,
My requirement is to implement the custom attachment, and to store the data into custom lob table.

Issue faced:
When i run the page for the first time data gets inserted into custom table perfectly on clicking upload button,
but when clicked on add another button on the same page (which basically redirects to the same upload page and increments the attachment id by 1)
i am getting the below error:
Error
Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.
Have spent entire day to resolve this issue but no luck.
Any help on this will be appreciated, let me know if i am going wrong anywhere.
Thanks nd Regards
AvinashHi,
After, inserting the values please re-execute the VO query.
Also, try to redirect the page with no AM retension

HP Scan error message using HP C7280 All in one Printer
I have been scanning documents successfully until recently. I am using a Mac with OS X 10.7.5 and receive the following error when using HP Scan.
The scan cannot be performed because another program has control of the HP imaging device. Try the following steps. After each step, try scanning again.
- Restart the program.
- Close all programs that may be using the device.
- Reboot the computer.
I've tried downloading multiple drivers with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hello @kellycc,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see when you try to scan with your HP Photosmart C7280 with your Mac running the 10.7 Operating system you get an error 'The scan cannot be performed because another program has control of the HP imaging device. Try the following steps. After each step, try scanning again.'.
Please complete the steps listed below:
Scrub/ Uninstall
• Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett Packard folder > HP Uninstaller
• Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
• * Only do this step if you do not have any other HP Printers. Hold down Control, Option and Command, While holding the three buttons down,
• Click uninstall.
Reset Printing System
1. Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
2. In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
5. Type the correct Name and Password.
6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol..
Repair Disk Permissions
1.On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
2.Double-click Disk Utility.
3.Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
4.Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
5.Once the repair is complete, restart the computer.
Restart the printer. Now you will need to install the print driver using the Apple Updates. Click on the link below and follow the on screen instructions:
Installing Your HP Printer Driver and Software for Mac OS X
I hope this helps, please let me know the outcome!

Hi All,
I was trying to develop C++ web service using GShop with Visual Studio 2005.I refered a tutorial :-
http://guruce.com/blogpost/hosting-webservices-on-windows-embedded-compact-windows-ce-using-gsoap .
AS per the tutorial i proceeded. But, i stuck-up when making a custom build with Helloworld.wsdl.Here is the output :
1>------ Rebuild All started: Project: HelloWorldWebService, Configuration: Debug Pocket PC 2003 (ARMV4) ------
1>Deleting intermediate and output files for project 'HelloWorldWebService', configuration 'Debug|Pocket PC 2003 (ARMV4)'
1>Performing Custom Build Step
1>'D:\Test' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
1>operable program or batch file.
1>Project : error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Performing Custom Build Step"
1>Build log was saved at "file://d:\Test Code\HelloWorldWebService\HelloWorldWebService\Pocket PC 2003 (ARMV4)\Debug\BuildLog.htm"
1>HelloWorldWebService - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Rebuild All: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========
As given in the tutorial i kept my custom build command line as : -
$(SolutionDir)\gsoap-2.8\gsoap\bin\win32\wsdl2h.exe -s $(InputPath) -o $(ProjectDir)$(InputName).h
and outpouts : $(InputName).h
I kept GSHOP in the project filder :- D:\Test Code\HelloWorldWebService
Kindly help.

Error occured while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager.
Hi There,
I am trying to connect to my node manager via WLST, however when I try to do so I get the following exception:
WLSTException: Error occured while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : Read channel closed
I have searched Google for the reason behind this exception, but I couldnt find anything that explains why I am getting it.
Could someone help me out? All I want to do is connect to the node manager and then kill one of the nodes.
I should point out that the AdminServer and the node are the same machine. The nodemanager will not accept SSL connections, I checked the config on WL itself.
I can confirm that it is also in nodemanager.domains
I have restarted the service and also bounced the box, but this hasnt helped. I get the following when running this command:
