Error initializing PAPI with directory.xml
Hi
I am trying to initialize PAPI from my application (Stripes). In order to create the 'ProcessService' I need the directory.xml, which I obtained from the BPMHOME/conf directory.
However, I get the following error when executing:

Security error accessing url with crossdomain.xml in InDesign FlexUI
I'm evaluating Flex as a UI component in an InDesign script. Part of what it needs to do involves retrieving some data from a web server to be displayed in a datagrid. I've written a server running on localhost that will provide this data. Everything works fine when I run the component from Flash Builder or from the HTML wrapper page that is generated during the release build, but once I copy the .swf to the InDesign scripts folder and load it as part of a ScriptUI component, I get a fault response ("security error accessing url") when connecting to the server. I'm running this bit of code in from my Flex client:
var h:HTTPService = new HTTPService();
h.url = "http://localhost:8080/elements";
h.method = "GET";
h.addEventListener("result", getElementsResult);
h.addEventListener("fault", getElementsFault);
h.send();
From what I've read, I may need a crossdomain.xml file at the root of my host, so I've added that to the server and can see that it is being accessed whenever the flex component attempts to connect to the service.
My crossdomain.xml file is:
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM 'http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd'>
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="*"/>
</cross-domain-policy>
which seems to be correct, from what I understand. I've also tried quite a few other variations (setting explicit site-control policies, etc.). I'm quite new to Flex/Flash and I'm basically stuck at this point. Where might I be going wrong?I think sleeping on this one helped... I found that if I serve the .swf from my web server then everything works out fine. Loading it from the local filesystem seems to have been the problem.

10.0.0.2Accepting Directory Server certificate for /CN=qtp-ldap.oaqtp.com signed by /DC=com/DC=oaqtp/CN=qtp-ldap
Skipping certificate 1 (/CN=qtp-ldap.oaqtp.com): subject issuer mismatch
Certificate of Directory Server cannot be verified with the installed LDAP certificate.
Unable to establish SSL connection with directory server.
You may need to install a certificate for your server to allow SSL connections.
It says "Subject Issuer mismatch" .. What could be the reason ?
-Shibi KeyanWell, it sounds like the certificate name is different than what you are trying to connect to. Can you try connecting to the DNS name instead? This sounds like a DNS and Certificate Name issue.

Problem with loading XML file from directory.
Hello everyone.
*1)* I have directory defined by DBA. I have read, write privileges. I can read file from this directory using UTL_FILE, I can create file in this directory using UTL_FILE. I tried many times and it does not seem to be any problems.
*2)* I have very simple XML table (with just one column of xmltype). I can insert into this column using:
insert into temp_xml values (
Xmltype ('<something></something>')
*3)* When executing
insert into temp_xml values (
Xmltype (
bfilename('XML_LOCATION', 'sample.xml'),
nls_charset_id('AL16UTF8')
I'm receiving an error:
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-22288: file or LOB operation FILEOPEN failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_LOB", line 523
ORA-06512: at "SYS.XMLTYPE", line 287
ORA-06512: at line 1
22288. 00000 - "file or LOB operation %s failed\n%s"
*Cause: The operation attempted on the file or LOB failed.
*Action: See the next error message in the error stack for more detailed
information. Also, verify that the file or LOB exists and that
the necessary privileges are set for the specified operation. If
the error still persists, report the error to the DBA.
*4)* Previously I was receiving more descriptive errors like permission denied, file not exists etc. This time there is no clear description apart from "file or LOB operation %s failed\n%s". I'm sure I can access this file in this directory (I used UTL_FILE to dbms_output the content).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Marcin JankowskiHi Marcin,
Welcome to the forums.
One very important thing with Oracle XML : please always give your database version, all four digits (e.g. 10.2.0.4).
Does the directory resides on the same machine as the database? Which OS?
Does any of the following work ?
DECLARE
v_lob CLOB;
v_file BFILE;
BEGIN
v_file := BFILENAME('XML_LOCATION','sample.xml');
DBMS_LOB.createtemporary(v_lob, true);
DBMS_LOB.fileopen(v_file);
DBMS_LOB.loadfromfile(v_lob, v_file, DBMS_LOB.getlength(v_file));
INSERT INTO temp_xml VALUES( xmltype(v_lob) );
DBMS_LOB.fileclose(v_file);
DBMS_LOB.freetemporary(v_lob);
END;
DECLARE
v_lob CLOB;
BEGIN
v_lob := DBMS_XSLPROCESSOR.read2clob('XML_LOCATION', 'sample.xml', nls_charset_id('AL16UTF8'));
INSERT INTO temp_xml VALUES( xmltype(v_lob) );
END;

Error Customizing userParameter with XML
Hello,
I'm customizing many reports with a XML file (IAS 9.0.4). I need to create a userparameter (DTDVersion="9.0.2.0.10") at runtime, but I get a REP-202 error without any text.
My customizing XML file work fine without this userparameter definition:
<report name="huella" DTDVersion="9.0.2.0.10" >
<data>
<userParameter name="P_huella" datatype="character"
initialValue="SMITH"
defaultWidth="0" defaultHeight="0" />
</data>
</report>
I tried with parameter (DTDVersion="9.0.2.0.0") but same error.
Any idea.
Thanks.I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but it looks like you are saving report definitions as XML files instead of RDF. If that is the case, you have to supply a DTDVersion attribute to the xml as it is required per the reports.dtd found in the $ORACLE_HOME\reports\dtd directory.
Note 231205.1 on Metalink has some details about validating report definitions in XML against a particular DTD. You may want to try this to get better error messages.
What do you mean you are trying to cusomize many reports with an XML file? -

SQL> truncate table XML_TEST;
Table truncated.No, I don't think that explanation is correct. I don't think it has to do with user privs. besides, we don't
adjust rowids on an import -- we recreate the index, just like a b-tree index import would.
This should be working. It's most likely a bug in our (i.e. Text) import code -- SYS.XMLTYPE is a little
strange because under the covers it's actually a function-based index.
I will test it out and file a bug if I can reproduce the behavior on solaris. -

403 Error during communication with System Landscape Directory from RWB
Hi,
I've got a new install of PI (XI 7.0) SPS 10 and am getting an error whenever I try to access the SLD from RWB or Integration Builder. The SLD is running on the same server as XI.
I've been through the various config guides (strangely there doesnt seem to be one specifically for PI/XI 7.0), to configure RFC destinations, checked users are not locked etc.
I'm thinking it's probably a VA / Authorisations issue, but could use some ideas!
Here's a few errors just for reference (and future people searching!)
<i>
Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)
Unable to read XI domain from the SLD. Monitoring cannot therefore be configured. Error message: com.sap.aii.rwb.exceptions.BuildLandscapeException: Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)

Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "my.server:51400" (have tried 8014 also)

Thanks,

After Effects warning: Error with directory?
Okay so recently I was having issues with text layers not displaying properly, and I posted here and found that the solution was to recreate my preferences file. However, since then I have been getting an error while starting AE that says "After Effects warning: Error with directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\Brandon\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\8.0\MediaIO". Is there a way to fix this without returning to old preferences file that gave me the original problem?And what happens, if you simply delete the error? The directory itself is not that important, as it merely holds presets and caches for Adobe Media encoder based formats (MPEG-2,WMF, etc.). AE should re-create it, if needed. Short of that, check the permissions on the folder as a starting point...

Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response c
Dear all,
I have redirected a SLD to our Q system. Everything in the Repository is working fine. What did I do:
- Adjusted settings in SLDAPICUST
- Adjusted SAPSLDAPI
- Adjusted LCRSAPRFC
- Adjusted the following values in the Exchange Profile:
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.httpport
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
So, SLDCHECK works fine.
The Repository sees the right SLD.
However, in the Directory I cannot choose an Adapter Engine (leaves blank) in my comm. channel.
Then I went to the RWB and got the following message:
<b>Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 Forbidden</b>
Where can I change something to make this work? Is this a user verification problem?
Thanks in advance for your input.go through the notes :-

#720717 Reduce the number of System Landscape Directories
