hello iam migrating goods movement using direct input method.iam getting isbn number and quantity in to a table from legacy system and i need to retrieve material number for corresponding isbn number from table and at step 5 mapping fields i
wrote select statement iam getting error as field
select is unknown .in the select statement

in this select statement jptidcdassign is table and
identcode is cloumn which contain isbn number.can you

How to insert abap code in LSMW generated program?

hi,
i m working on LSMW for loading data in SAP
i would like to insert abap code into the generated program....
it's because i have 1 BKPF segment (header data), 2 BSEG segments, but i cannot define rules by customizing for the second BSEG segment(LSMW doesn't permitt).
i already tried to insert code directly into the program, but obviously it disapears at each time i generate the program.
i saw that apparently a code insertion has already be made into this program and the subject of this insertion is to define rules for the second BSEG (exactly what i want to do....) and this modification doesn't disapear at new prog generation.....
Any idea ?

Why dont you use the FORM provided by LSMW
To use this please do the following
1.Goto option <b>Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules</b>
2.Goto menu <b>EXTRAS->LAYOUT->Form Routines</b>
Here you will now get many options like
Global Data
Begin of Transaction
Begin of Processing
Begin of Record
like wise the End of these also.
Please put a breakpoint and check where you want to insert your code.
Note:
This is only for the Conversion Program and does not affect the main program used to update the Standard Tables

When ever we are trying to update the BP or create a new BP for Few Specific Company Codes we are receiving the below error

SImilary we also see this error as well

the problem you mentioned here is not the whole problem in my opinion, so let me take a few assumptions and you tell me if some/all of em are correct or alternately you put in more detail in your query.. ok?
well here goes:
1. you mentioned BP which is a business partner object but you did not talk about hcm at all so am assuming sap hr has not been implemented at all in your sap box... right/
2. then the infotype 100 and insert error is the least of your worries if the above point is correct.
3. then you also have some nominal positions in your sap box to support your logistics process...
4. and then I am taking a wild guess here --> you are trying to have a relation between a position and bp objects directly ...
well I may be totally off the rocker in the above but what you need to tell us could be :
1. explain the business process.
2. then we talk about how you are doing the business process in sap (is hr implemented or not? if yes to what extent etc...) and dont limit this point to logistics,.. cover the whole gamut of how you are doing it in sap today and am sure it spans across hcm and logistics
3. then, a bit more info on what you were trying to do in a step by step fashion,... and where exactly you are encountering the error,.. --> the reason am asking for this is --> in my expereince I have seen a lot of logistics guys who are gurus intheir areas of expertise but you talk sap hr they are like babies,.. and the vice versa is also true,.. so if you are not able to explain point 2 above in full this point will give the complete technical picture.

The error concerns these two lines:

statement.execute("INSERT INTO Users(user_id,FirstName,LastName,Email,Login,Password) values (" + stringtoinsert + ");");
In the first line above, you have a string which represents the VALUES which you are inserting. There are 5 values. However in the second line above this is your actual SQL execution you are specifying 6 columns of data. If the column "user_id" is an identity or auto-incrementing field in the database, just remove it from this line. If not then you need to supply the "UserID" into the VALUES.
This should fix the problem.

Error inserting new Document DI_API Java

I was using DI_API of PL8 for inserting SalesOrder via JAVA. Everything worked fine until PL32 was installed. Now i get this error when i try to insert a new document, no matter what kind of:

Hmmm ... well I have not heard this issue, but SAP released PL39 for SAP Business One 2005A SP01 today. You may want to download and try with the new patch. If still you have an issue you will want to create and SAP Support message.

Can't see anything wrong in the code you have posted.
Error: AssignmentOperator ArrayInitializer
The error message would lead me to look for any arrays you are declaring in your code. Are you declaring an array? Are you trying to initialize it? Have you closed all quotes/brackets etc etc?

On most of my pages I get an error:

Check the block of code between <% and %>
Look for any semicolons you missed.
Look for any brackets you missed closing.
It might not be on line 1, but it will probably be in that area.

Blackberry 8310 error INSERT SIM CARD

I'm using a BB 8310 from vodafone with a T-mobile SIM Card and having the error INSERT SIM CARD and red SOS x.
When a insert the SIM in a GSM device the SIM works fine.
I already replaced the SIM-card whit a new one, performed a hard reset, restart serveral times the device.
Does somebody know what to do?

"Error Result code = -43" AND "Audio file not found"

In Garageband I was trying to click Join, but kept getting "Error Result code = -43"
What does this mean?
Also, I thought saving the file and restarting Garageband would help, but upon re-opening the program BIG problem: the file (just this one, others are opening fine) has this error message upon opening "Audio file “07 I See the Light.aif” not found!"

the error -43 is a system level error, so i HIGHLY doubt this will help, however you can ctrl-click the project file, choose Show Package Contents, open the media folder and preview any audio files in there to see if the missing file is there, but in all likelihood, you will need to re-record it
