Error into IE browser

When i call a Bpm object presentation that contain a datetimepicker control i have this error in the page:
'popupcalendar is not defined'
I have this error either with IE or with Firefox.
I think that it is a problem of the javascript popcalendar.js but I'm not able to solve the problem.

I had this same problem using Eclipse 3.5 and apache-tomcat-6.0.20. I got the 404 error after entering the address: http://localhost:8080.
After googling and googling for a possible solution, it seems as if Eclipse does not copy the entire "webapp" folder found in the apache-tomcat-... directory into its workspace meta directory (to get the location, double click on the tomcat server in eclipse to open the overview window. Then click on the "open launch configuration" link and click on the "Arguments" tab. Then look for "-Dwtp.deploy" in the VM arguments text area. What you find there is the deploy location. Copy the link and paste it in a windows explorer address bar and this will open the deploy location").
I solved this problem by simply changing the server location. I switched from "Use workspace metadata..." to "Use tomcat installation..." (double click on tomcat server to open overview, then -> Server Locations...)
After doing this, you also have to change the deploy location. In my case, I changed it to "C:\apache-tomcat-6.0.20\webapp" (i.e. your tomcat location). Click save and that's it.
As such, you can access everything in the webapp folder like docs, manager (Tomcat Web App. Manager) , examples depending on what you have there.
I see no need copying the ROOT folder to another location. Just tell eclipse to point to the current tomcat webapp folder without copying anything.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.

The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

Again, if I update my SharePoint 2010 farm to April 2014 CU is this going to resolve the issue I have?
I don't mind changing the JS file, however I'd like to know / see if there is anything official regarding this instead of my having to change files.

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

If you want to continue to use the ABAP-based runtime, create the template using the Web Application Designer (SAP BW 3.x).
The templates called using the new Web Application Designer have new objects that are independent of the objects saved using Web Application Designer 3.x. This means that, unlike the old templates, they can no longer be called using parameter template_id=abc. Instead, you can address them from an iView using template=abc and they use the Java Web runtime in the portal. Only the old templates can be executed in transaction RSRT.
In Web Application Designer 3.x, you can use parameter template_id=abc to call saved objects.

I'm getting a message "404 (page not found error)" I think I entered an incorrect URL into my browser's address bar. How do I fix that?

I was trying to post a comment on a support group site. I was asked what web address I was using, or something along those lines. In hindsight, I stupidly typed a '?' and pressed send. Now, when I try to access that site I get the message "404 (page not found error)

How can I fix this.

I spoke with a Dell technician about this problem. He tried to access the site in question from his computer, i.e. separate from my computer, and he also got the same "404 (page not found error)". He said the problem lies with the site itself, not my computer, and that I should notify the site. Problem is I can't notify the site if I can't access it.

I have been using firefox for about 4 yrs now with very few problems. The problem I am having is that when ever I go to type in anything into my browser I keep receiving this message:

I recently installed Firefox 5.0 and this keeps happening. It happened with the 4.0 version a couple of days ago but mostly it is the 5.0 version that I am having problems with. When ever I want to do a search I have to manually type in google.com. Is there a solution to fix this?

The NuGet is a dll that was built with 4.0.0.0. The easiest thing to fix problem is target you VS project to use Net 4.0. You could get a new version of NuGet, but if you do make sure you rebuild your entire project. The dependencies in
the VS compiler doesn't always recognize updated libraries. So I normally rename the bin folder in the project and then delete the bin folder. VS will create a new bin folder and then rebuild all the source files. If your project contains
multiple projects then remember to delete the bin from all projects.

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

I'm running TOMCAT locally on my PC (running Windows NT).

The output is coming out all scrambled (almost like ASCII code or something),
where it seems like the applications are not firing up.
However, an MSWord file shows up fine. So I go to the WEB.XML file in the TOMCAT\CONF
folder and notice that a MIME type has been set up for MSWord and not the other two.
I set one up for EXCEL and POWERPOINT but the XLS or PPT files still don't work.
So, just for kicks, I comment out the MSWord MIME definition but the MSWord file still worked!!!
I can't figure out what's going on here.
I'm stopping and starting the TOMCAT service each time I make changes to the WEB.XML file,
but it seems like none of the changes are taking affect.
I install all the viewers for MS-Word, ppt, and excell.
But in Netscape it works fine.

Erik,
The error you describe is a JavaScript error. In order to solve it, we must find out in which piece of JavaScript this error occurs.
You say that with UIX this error does not occur, does that mean that it occurred with a JHeadstart-generated JSP page? Can you reproduce it with the Oil demo (with possibly some changes in the settings to make it similar to your situation)?
The error message you got looks like it was generated by Microsoft Internet Explorer. JavaScript is interpreted by the browser, and other browsers like Mozilla Firefox are much better in giving meaningful error messages. Do you have the opportunity to test this page with Mozilla Firefox? You could then open the window Tools - JavaScript Console to see the error.
