Error 'Java' is undefined

Can anyone help to solve this problem
I am trying to use javascript to get information from the System.getProperty
function Slide1() {
var str = java.lang.System.getProperty("user.name")
      document.box.boxtext.value= str
     }But I receive the error " java is undefiend "
How can I define java ??

however Icame across somthing that might do the job.
Example

</FORM>The only thing is that each time the Button is clicked a warning from the explorer appears
" An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. ... Do you want allow this interaction?"
I need to get the username from the client and posted to a servlet for validation.
Is there any way to de activate this warning
