Error loading weblogic.servlet.WlwJSPServlet

Hello
Has anyone encountered the following exception in workshop when adding a process
or web project while the server is running.
Exception:weblogic.management.ApplicationException: prepare failed for Untitled
Module: Untitled Error: Could not load Untitled: weblogic.managem
ent.DeploymentException: [HTTP:101283]ServletContext(id=15265733,name=Untitled,c
ontext-path=/Untitled): jspServlet "weblogic.servlet.WlwJSPServlet" defined in
w
eblogic.xml could not be loaded.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weblogic.servlet.WlwJSPServlet
I did not use any of the predefined domains, so is it possible that I am missing
something while configuring my own.
Thanks

Probably. You need a Workshop-enabled domain to run webapps from
Workshop. I know that weblogic.servlet.WlwJSPServlet is in
server/lib/knex.jar, but I'm not sure what other jars are required in
the system classpath.
You'll either want to use a Workshop domain from the Config Wizard, or
generate a Workshop domain from the Config Wizard and see what the
system classpath is for the server and use that in your startup script.
For processes to work, you need an Integration domain and its system
classpath.

    Since the line numbers are not there in your stack trace and there is very
              little info
              I am not 100% sure what the problem is. But my guess is that this is the

              for this with this CR# as reference. If that doesn't solve the problem let

  • Error loading Weblogic server

    I have now seen 3 messages about other users encountering the following error message on Weblogic startup:
    <Emergency> <WebLogicServer> <Unable to create a server socket for port: 7002. java.net.BindException: Address in use: JVM_Bind perhaps another process is using port 7001.>
    I have experienced this problem running under Windows 2000. I have shut down all other programs on the PC and still receive this fatal error message.

    Hi,
    Do a 'netstat -an' from the command prompt and make sure that nothing is already listening on the subject port. Stopping all programs does not necessarily do it. There can be
    many services running, one of which may have the ip/port bound.

    Servlets have been working for months. Suddenly, I'm getting
              this error (see below) as soon as I try to hit a servlet.
              The startup process looks normal. I've re-installed WL v 4.0.3
              several time, gotten the license in place, so on and so forth,
              but cannot get around this problem. "weblogic.properties" file

              All my servlets and EJBs have been registered, and db connection and
              pool made, as usual. As I said above, everything looks normal until
              I try to hit a servlet.

    Did you register your servlets after reinstalling. FileServlet is only for handling html pages. It has no role in loading servlets.

  • Error loading servlet because a ClassNotFoundError

    Hi,
    I send a request to a servlet named "ControlAcceso".
    The WebLogic server prints:

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: gov/co/ssp/suin/ejb/ServiciosAutenticacionHome
    at gov.co.ssp.suin.web.ControlAcceso.init(ControlAcceso.java:23)
    I have an EJB that has a home interface named gov.co.ssp.suin.ejb.ServiciosAutenticacionHome;
    the file ServiciosAutenticacionHome.class is located in a directory named /gov/co/ssp/suin/ejb
    in a sui_ejb.jar file and in a sui_web.war file.
    Besides, I put the sui_ejb.jar in the CLASSPATH of WebLogic Server in the setEnv.cmd

    A piece of code of the ControlAcceso.java servlet follows:

    Go to Weblogic admin console and see whether both applications are deployed successfully or not.
    Also see the patch_weblogic.log whether it has some exception while deploying Nexaweb.

    for some reason your web.xml does not have the servlet filter set up. If not I suspect you may have other entries missing. You could try and create a new adf-bc4j web application and look at the newly generated web.xml to see what is missing in yours. The specific entries you are missing are given below
    <filter>
    <filter-name>ADFBindingFilter</filter-name>
    <filter-class>oracle.adf.model.servlet.ADFBindingFilter</filter-class>

  • Error Loading servlet in iplanet app server NotSerializableException

    I am trying to load a servlet and everything runs correct but when i try to connect to the database of the system I get java.io.NotSerializableException. The wierd thing is that this runs without a problem on my windows, running JRun, and linux, running tomcat, machine but give me this message on my unix machine running Iplanet, does anyone have any clue to what would cause such an error, when everything works on all the other machines but the unix one.
    Thanks.

  • Net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Error loading object from file : C

    I started using JasperReports for my web application report generation. I'm using JSPs for web development.
    I created a .jrxml file using iReport and used the following code to generate the report.
    try {
              JasperDesign jasperDesign = JRXmlLoader.load("C:\\tomcat\\webapps\\web\\JSP\\reports\\samples\\pmm-final.jrxml");
              JasperReport jasperReport = JasperCompileManager.compileReport(jasperDesign);
    // Second, create a map of parameters to pass to the report.
              Map parameters = new HashMap();
              parameters.put("Title", "JasperReport");
    // Third, get a database connection
              Connection conn = null;
              Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
              conn=DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=C:/tomcat/webapps/db1/db1.mdb");
    // Fourth, create JasperPrint using fillReport() method
              JasperPrint jasperPrint = JasperFillManager.fillReport(jasperReport,
                                  parameters, conn);
    // You can use JasperPrint to create PDF
              //JasperExportManager.exportReportToPdfFile(jasperPrint, "C:\\tomcat\\webapps\\web\\JSP\\reports\\TestReport.pdf");
              JasperExportManager.exportReportToHtmlFile(jasperPrint, "C:\\tomcat\\webapps\\web\\JSP\\reports\\TestPMM.html");
              JRXlsExporter exporter = new JRXlsExporter();
              exporter.setParameter(JRExporterParameter.JASPER_PRINT, jasperPrint);
              exporter.setParameter(JRExporterParameter.OUTPUT_FILE_NAME, "C:\\tomcat\\webapps\\web\\JSP\\reports\\TestPMM.xls");
              exporter.exportReport();
    // Or to view report in the JasperViewer
              //JasperViewer.viewReport(jasperPrint);
    } catch (JRException e) {
              // TODO Auto-generated catch block
              e.printStackTrace();
    } catch (SQLException e) {
              // TODO Auto-generated catch block
              e.printStackTrace();
    The above pmm-final.jrxml uses a subreport 'top.jasper'. Error being thrown while loading top.jasper file. Error is as follows.

    Anyone pls help. It's bit urgent. Thanks.

    I was using iReport v0.5.0 and it uses jasperreports-0.6.7.jar (v0.6.7) of
    JasperReports. I compiled and i deployed my application in BEA weblogic server. I got the error listed below. Only after i saw your
    response explaining that iReport was the issue, i checked the iReport lib directory and found this version of jasperreport jar.
    iReport creates a java source file which is used to a jasper file.
    iReport will link in the v0.6.7 version of jasperReports. When you
    deploy your web application it will recognize this version through the compiled jasper file and give you the InvalidClassException, even
    though you only have one jasperReport jar deployed with your war file.
    The way i fixed this problem was to create my web application with the
    jasperreport jar comes with iReport.
    Thanks for mentioning iReport.
    Christopher
