Error loading wsdl from the OSB in the SOA Suite over https

Hi,
We are running SOA Suite 11G R1 PS2. I have created a webservice in the OSB which runs on https://soa-test.myfirm.com/schedule/service/v1. This service works fine. I can test it in the OSB and using SoapUI. Now I want to make use of it in a bpel proces in the SOA Suite so I added the webservice as external reference and pointed it to the the above url. This works...it sees the porttype and all the bindings. But when I want to deploy it, it doesnt compiles and i get the following issue:
Error(19,30): Load of wsdl "https://soa-test.myfirm.com/schedule/service/v1?wsdl" failed
Error(29,89): Cannot find Port Type "{http://www.myfirm.com/wsdl/schedule/service}ScheduleServicePortType" for "ScheduleService" in WSDL Manager
So it seems it cannot load the wsdl. I saw it might be a proxy issue but I dont use a proxy. I can see the wsdl using my browser without proxy settings.
Does anyone know why it cannot load my wsdl?
best regards,
H

The issue changed to an certificate issue now.
I get the error:

I looked in the forum and this could be solved by adding the root CA to the trust keystore of the server. My OSB Managed Server and SOA Managed Server are on the same machine (https://sontprs201.myfirm.com:8888). This machine has a certificate of GoDaddy so i have added the GoDaddy-root and GoDaddy-intermediate as trusted certificates to my certs.jks
In the weblogic console I set both the managed servers to point to my certs.jks with the correct password and in OSB managed server i setup the SSL with the correct private key alias.
When i call the OSB service from SoapUI i get the correct 3 certificates back (GD-root, GD-intermediate, sontprs201.myfirm.com), but when I call the OSB service from BPEL I still get the error: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): https://sontprs201.myfirm.com:8888/schedule/service/v1. Unable to find valid certification path.
Does anybody know what I'm missing or how I can debug this?
Thanks in advance!

How can i further troubleshoot this . later on when I restart again ...it works .
    Help appreciated .
    Amith

    Hello,
    Thanks for your response.
U see ..this happens only when the all the services / databases etc come back up after a cold backup during the weekend . And like I u have mentioned , I thought this could be due to the BPEL service trying to connect to one of the databases as mentioned in the oc4j-ra.xml ( there are 3 distinct database connections to 3 diff databases ) . So I made sure that all the dbs are up and running before this particular service is started . It wroks at times ..but then it fails at times . So I have started wondering whether this is a different issue . And I am not able to troubleshoot it any further .
What exactly should I check in the wsdl file ..
    Appreciate your help !
    Amith

what BIA version are you on?
perhaps you have to install a informatica fix or a DAC patch

long does it take to down load mavericks from snow leperd. The mini Mac has two gig of ram.   It's over two hours now.    I have DSL

By cable standards it's not very fast. Assuming it runs at top speed with no hiccups at either end you can download about 650 KB/s. So, that suggests it will take a little over two hours. Of course transfers are rarely ever perfect, so could take more than two yours, realistically. My pipe is about four times faster than yours, and I've seen the download take twice as long as it "should."

Anyone pls help. It's bit urgent. Thanks.

I was using iReport v0.5.0 and it uses jasperreports-0.6.7.jar (v0.6.7) of
JasperReports. I compiled and i deployed my application in BEA weblogic server. I got the error listed below. Only after i saw your
response explaining that iReport was the issue, i checked the iReport lib directory and found this version of jasperreport jar.
iReport creates a java source file which is used to a jasper file.
iReport will link in the v0.6.7 version of jasperReports. When you
deploy your web application it will recognize this version through the compiled jasper file and give you the InvalidClassException, even
though you only have one jasperReport jar deployed with your war file.
The way i fixed this problem was to create my web application with the
    jasperreport jar comes with iReport.
    Thanks for mentioning iReport.

  • Whats the difference between 2 way SSL over HTTPS & 2 way SSL over TCP

also, is there an implementation on web for 2 way SSL/TCP .
PS: plz donot give me the definition for 2 way SSL :)

whats the difference between 2 way SSL over HTTPS & 2 way SSL over TCP?The difference is that '2 way SSL over HTTPS' doesn't exist.
HTTPS is HTTP over SSL, so SSL over that would be SSL over SSL which would be pointless.

  • Is OSB included in SOA Suite

Hi, is Oracle Service Bus (OSB) included in SOA Suite 11g? I downloaded and installed SOA Suite 11g. I do not see OSB anywhere in the installation. Yet, SOA Suite home page states that OSB is an integral part of SOA Suite. What gives?
Also, can I develop for OSB using JDeveloper?
    Thanks.
    B.

    ok,
    to make it more confusing.....
OSB has an independent release and product version from the SOA Suite 11g.
OSB is on some 10.3.x series
SOA 11g is on the 11.1.1.x sseries
Both need a Oracle Weblogic Server.
Each physically exist as separate installations.
Each need to be installed in their own world/folders.
Each of them have a JDK and Weblogic installed in its HOME folders
For OSB development, you may use the Eclipse/Workshop as stated in the earlier reply.
    There is another alternative
I personally find development easier in the browser based http://localhost:<port>/sbconsole, because it is less bulky, refreshes quickly and more reliable.

  • Is OSB part of SOA Suite licence

    Hi All,
Please advise is OSB included in SOA Suite licence.
    Thanks

OSB is part of SOA Suite 11g and hence I think SOA 11g license covers OSB 11g as well. You may refer -

  • Loading classes from an area in the filesystem.

I need to do a scan for classes on a given area of the filesystem, but I'm not sure how to do this. I also need to be able to find the current jre/lib/ext location on the current system (thats going to be the first area I scan).
The reason for all this is that I want a list of all available JDBC drivers installed (DriverManager.getDrivers() only shows currently LOADED drivers).
    Any idea how I :
1: Scan a dir and get a list of classesnames contained within.
2: Get the location of jre/lib/ext
It's a heavy one, but hopefully someone will be able to help.

System.getProperty("java.ext.dirs")will get you the location of the extension directories. I think java.class.path will get you your classpath, but doSystem.getProperties().list(System.out);to get a complete list of system properties including that.
To get a list of files in a directory, use methods from the File class (you could look it up).

  • How to load images from client side when the swf is hosted on a server without uplaoding it to server?

I'm trying to build a online image resize tool.
    problem i face are:
    1. I build a button that allow user to browse the file. Once
file is selected, it doesnt show full path.
    2. lets say if it shows fullpath, but i try to load it into a
movieclip, and it doesnt work because the swf file is located at
the server and not the client's place.
    3. as far as i know, flash can only load images which is
located in the same server or internet.
    4. if i use php, asp, cgi.. it can only allow me to 1st
upload the image then resize later, but this is not wat i want.
    5. I need to 1st resize then upload later, because if i have
100 and more photos taken from digicam, it's going to be very slow
    and heavy.
    What i have tested:
    1. upload "image3.jpg" into the same directory as the
    "viewer.swf", and it works.
    2. do not upload the swf to the server, but run locally from
the user's computer and open "image3.jpg" and it works.
    3. upload the swf to the server and open "image3.jpg" from
the user's computer and IT DOESN"T WORK!
    please help me out.

  • Error loading control. a newer version needed. the default settings will be used

Hi I am using LabVIEW DSC 7.1 for programming my application. My VI contains NI hypertrend which I am publishing on a browser using the web publishing tool. When I open the web browser on a different computer I get this error- Component works  Error loading Control. A newer version needed. The default settings for the control will be used. I have disabled firewall, pop up blocker etc...but for some reason it keeps giving me the same error. I read the knowledge base and it talks something about the .OCX file. I am not sure what I am supposed to do..I also have the DSC runtime installed in my machine. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

If you're on a 64-bit OS, OCX files  must be in the folder: %windir% \ SysWOW64
and not in %windir% \ System32 (only for 32 bits OS)
    >> %windir% is  the environment variable that defines the Windows folder! (eg: C:\Windows)

error while shifting from one tab to other''''''

I've followed what I can of that error, and from what I'm reading, your hard disk is doomed. Some people report that they've been able to reinstall OSX on the same disk and use it for as long as a few months, but eventually the error returns.
    Here's what I suggest:
Step 1: Backup everything you want to keep immediately!
    Step 2: Buy new disk.
    Step 3: Install new disk.
Step 4: Reinstall everything & restore.
I highly suggest backing up as soon as possible. -- On the first day of this error my MBP would no longer boot. Thankfully, I was able to save most of my stuff using the terminal window available in the installer.
Searching for that error code here & on google returns a fair number of hits so you can read what others have done as well. Some seem to be able to get a new drive from apple if it's still under warranty.
    Good luck!
