Error message  "Enter the unit of measure" in WebClient ???

Hello Experts,
We are working on CRM 5.0 SP 7, IC WebClient and have implemented the BAdi "CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI" to assign a service product ''INVESTIGATION' whenever user selects service ticket in WebClient.
However, when confirming a Business Partner and accessing the service ticket, an error is getting displayed stating "Enter the unit of measure".
We have already mentioned the unit of measure in Product but it seems it is not picking from there.
Please help me to remove this error.

Gerhard is 100% correct. Please make sure that your unit of measures are maintained on the product master(trans COMMPR01).
Use the code below in CRM_PRODUCT_I_BADI to set uom.
  if cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_unit is initial.
    cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_unit = 'EA'.
    cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_num = 1.
    cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_den = 1.
  endif.
Also, you will find you get error to specify product quantity. This can be done in badi CRM_SCHEDLIN_BADI with code below.
if is_schedlin_wrk-quantity is initial.
   cs_schedlin_badi-quantity = 1.
endif.

    I had a similar Problem
    You will have to assign the base unit of measure in service tab as hours and then in the sales and distribution tab assign the same unit in the sales unit and give minimum order quantity(for e.g-1) & delivery unit ,this you will have to do for all the sales areas you might have mapped in the S&D tab
    I'm sure the issue will be resolved

    First go to message pool under webdynpro components.
    Create a new message there..of type error.
    Enter your text.
    Now to avoid null pointer exception , in wdDoInit(), initialise the value
    wdContext.currentDateTimeElement().setDate("");
    now create an action for submission of data. If field is empty, then within the button write:
      msg = wdComponentAPI.getComponent().getMessageManager();

    Hi,
    If you are posting a credit memo against a PO you cannot post it for MORE than the value of the PO, the system gives you the message that says something like, the value entered is higher than the PO value and so the PO value has been used.
    Is this giving you a particular problem?
    remember that youare generating the credit memo and so you can ask the vendor for whatever you want (although you may not actually get it). It is not like entering an invoice where the vendor is specifying the values.

    Hi,
    When we are executing MIGO 411 K transaction we are getting error message 'Enter Vendor Number'. My requirement is populate vendor dynamically based on combination of Material, Plant, Storage location and Batch. I got user exit for this User-exit (EXIT_SAPMM07M_001) when click on check button.
    We found a User-exit (EXIT_SAPMM07M_001) triggered when User clicks on 'CHECK' button. But since the vendor field (LIFNR) is a mandatory field in MIGO 411 K transaction, its throwing an error message 'Enter Vendor Number'.
    SO we are not able to populate the vendor number dynamically in user exit.
    Can any one help on this ..how to proceed further...

    All mandatory fields are checked before any processing happens.
    The simplest way is to enter a dummy vendor number (create a one-time or a dummy vendor for this purpose)

In that i am looping the values, that is, Once if i entered 5 digit values means, 12345-08... the values should be stored in z-table like this 12345,12346,12347,12348 . That is 5-8 it as to update in z table. for this i createdloop at itab and inside that i written a code to count the value and all. and also its clearly updating the value in ztable too. now i want to know, if once again i entered the same value means, like 12345-08.. it as to show error messge.I dont know how to set the condition with error message inside the single loop .... Its all comes under module pool program.

    If i understood your doubt, here goes the answer.
    LOOP AT itab INTO wa_itab.  " This is your loop
      l_tabix = sy-tabix. "l_tabix receives the line of the loop
      READ TABLE itab WITH KEY itab = wa_itab.  "itab is the same tab of your loop
      IF sy-subrc EQ 0 AND l_tabix NE sy-tabix.    "Here the sy tabix have the value of the read table.
    *     Here you do your error treatment.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
    Explanation: When you are looping your internal table, you use a READ TABLE to see the already recorded registers. If the read table finds one register (sy-subrc EQ 0) and the this register is not the one of the current line (l_tabix NE sy-tabix). It means you have a duplicated register.
    Maybe there is someway easier to do this, but this is what i thought now.

    Same error message is appeared in 8.81 PL10. So this is not due to PL. If you select other than local currency at deposit currency, this error appears.

    The exchange rate buying & selling rate has not been secified for the conversion of amount to another curency
    you need to maintain this
    please work with your FI consultant on this as exchnage rate spread needs to eb maintained - verify the currency maintained for the cuustomer in the master for this
    the settings will be done in the IMG under currencies - type B = Actual period end rate

  • When restoring an iPhoto library I got an "unexpected error" message and the operation could not be completed. Is my best choice to try again?

    One of my external hard drives died. I had several iPhoto libraries in it. Fortunately, I used Time Machine to backup to a Time Capsule and I can see all the iPhoto library icons in Backups.
    When restoring the first iPhoto library, after three hours, I got an "unexpected error" message and the operation could not be completed. Indeed, the restored library is smaller than the library in Backups. Is my best choice to try again and replace the restored library (which apparently must be missing some photos)? It would mean another 3 hours plus of restoration with fingers crossed...
    Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

    I am always suspicious of using a different OS to the one that was used to run the backup.. ie if you used Snow L to backup then there is absolutely nothing wrong with using SL to restore.

    I cannot find any reference to the error code you are getting..
    My recommendation would be to try it on a different computer.. restore the whole backup to an external drive large enough to accept the whole backup.

    I have a requirment where i have added a subscreen to the standard screen of ME31K for creating the contract. In my Subcreen i have my custom screen fields that i'm updating in EKKO table through include structure.
    Now if user forget to fill the details in my custom fields in the subscreen then i'm giving the error message prompting the user to fill the value in fields.
    But the problem is the screen is locked there itself i want to make the field editable so that user can enter some value in the fields. I can not use the stuatus or information message here because doing this i will get the item overview screen which should not come as i want to restrict the user to header details only and fill all the custom fields.
    Please provide me with your helpful responses.

    Sorry for the delay.
    The code which I gave for popup, i hope its being shown in an IF . . . ENDIF.
    So in that condition u can add the following :

        SET SCREEN SY-DYNNR.   "this would set screen to current screen which is 0201
        EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    Other than this if you like you can set some parameters in the PAI of this screen which redirect to current screen based on some conditions.
    So u can manually set OK-CODE and CALFCODE as SPACE, but i dont know how much this can impact the process.
    So please follow the above code.
