Error Message for Date Format
Hi Friends,
Could you guys help me with sample code in java script to throw error message if the user enter the wrong date format( my requirements of date format like yyyymmdd)in BSP.

you dont have to write the js code.
just set the input field<b> type = date</b> and <b>dovalidate=true</b>
if the user tries to submit the form with wrong format, the system will throw javascript error message and will not submit the form.

I would like to create error message if the user did not fill the date in dates profile ZVALID_TILL (Opportunity valid till). I know that I can create the message via incompletness check, but the problem is that in this case the message reports the name of the field to which you are refering to. And this is ok for classical fields but not for dates, because I get the error message like "Transaction is incomplete: Enter Date from". The problem is that this message does not say which date the user has to fill in. So I would like to get the message like "Transaction is incomplete: Enter Opportunity valid till".
Does anyone knows how to provide such message?
P.S.: We are using CRM 2007 and not 7.0 where I think this is possible via new customazing features for messages.Hi Robert,
I guess in that case you should implement a BADI wherein you can write the logic to check if the valid till date has been filled by the user or not.
Based on the condition you can display the error message on UI using the CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT FM.

Error message: The data for filename was already added to the form
I recently modified an existing data-collection PDF - only mod was to add some additional pull-down menu options in two fields. I went thru the Distribution wizard, tested the revised form, added the PDF to the Responses file...everything seemed fine. Next day, I distributed the revised form, and had 22 submissions. When adding the 22 submissions to the Response file, 6 or 7 bounced with the error message "The data for <filename> was already added to the form", even though that was not true. I went back, cleared all, and added one of the "bad" files to the response form. It went in OK, but I could not add another "bad one". Although several of the forms may be submitted by the same person, the data is different in all of the submissions, plus, we've been doing this procdure for over a year and never had an issue until now.
The original form may have been created in Acrobat X, and I have Acrobat 9 Pro. Not sure if that is part or all of the answer. Thanks for any insights...I saw a posting in the Reader side, but I can't see any answers.Hi

For weeks I have been viewing a doggy day care center via their web cam. This weekend I upgraded to Lion and have been unable to view the center. I get an error message for Java plug-in 1.6.0_29 ....webcam class not found. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Sorry, don't know what else to suggest unless there's a URL to the problem stream that someone here can try. Otherwise we can't test it to try and determine what might be wrong.
BTW, make sure they're testing it with a Mac, not with a Windows system. If they test only with Windows, what they say is or is not working doesn't mean much.

IWeb 08 error message "The file format is invalid"
I have been reading all of the problems regarding publishing iweb pages at the moment, I too cannot publish my site but I get a different error message

My iDisk seems to have a very old version of my website stored and I don't know where to look to find the current versions files?
Why hasn't iDisk got the most up to date version of my iWeb site and how do I get it to have?
Which folder on the iDisk should your iWeb files be stored in?
Sorry to ask so many questions but I am new to the publishing part after spending weeks building a site only to find it I get an error and my iDisk file structure holds old files.When I opened iWeb I could see the most up-to-date version of my site, I could edit it and save it (to where I don't know). When I opened the web and sites folder on my iDisk it contained only the files from a previous version of my website created months ago.
I tried looking for the Domain file for my iWeb site and looked in my home folder, application support and then iWeb but the iWeb file in App support was empty.
I believe the iWeb file in App support is where the Domain file should be located, correct?
I have used Time machine to go back a week and have located the domain file and have restored it. The domain file now sits in the iWeb folder in App support in my Home, where it should be.
Now when I load iWeb I see the version of my website that was created a week ago which is fine but iDisk still has the old file structure of my site from months ago.
Can I delete the old file structure completely from the Sites folder on my iDisk? this should remove the old version of my website shouldn't it?
How do I get the restored version of my website to appear in iDisk?
Do I simply copy the Domain file into the sites folder on iDisk?
My iWeb files on Mobile me are also the months old versions, how do I update these so my new site is all that I can see?
Any answers to my 'File format' problem when trying to upload, is it because I don't have my iWeb files in the correct places? -

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement for making material description as non mandetory in change request view of mdg material screen.
I have done that using field usage in get data method of feeder classes, but still message is displaying.
This message 'Material description is mandatory is displaying with check action only, but not with save or submit after i anhance field property as not mandetory.
How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action.

In IMG activity "Configure Properties of Change Request Step", you can completely deactivate the reuse area checks (but will then loose all other checks of the backend business logic as well).
You can also set the error severity of the checks from Error to Warning (per CR type, not per check).
Or you provide a default value for the material description, e.g. by implementing the BAdI USMD_RULE_SERVICE.

Mr.Tsang. Hong KongFor database versions you need to have at least 9206 for 9i and 10.1.0.4 for 10g. This requires you to apply the 9206 patchset to 9i and the 10.1.0.4 patchset to the 10g base install.
Please note there are a lot of steps invloved in the patching process and you must make sure you have completed all the steps before creating your OLAP schema. Most problems occur because the patching process is incomplete and the OLAP option is in an invalid state.
You can check the state of the OLAP option using the following commands in SQLPlus:

Once the OLAP option is in a valid state, then you must ensure the OLAPSYS account is unlocked. To test the OLAP environment you can install the BI10G sample schema which will create a new user account called CS_OLAP which contains an Analytic Workspace.

Does it become active if you go to System Preferences > Accounts and Click on the current Account Pic and attempt to take a Pic ? (you do not have to Set it as the Pic)
Go to System Preferences > Accounts
Click on Your Account (in the list on the Left)
The Right hand side will now show some options.
Clicking the current Pic will give you access to Edit Pic
One of the Options then is to take a Snapshot.
Take a Snap Shot but you do not have to "Set" the Pic.
This process will invoke VDCAssistant.

You should shut down the computer (Rather than trying to catch the Restart)

In Tcode OBA5 - i enter F5 as Apllication area and i select new entries - i Enter 117 - and i Enter E before i save.
but when i go to MIRO to check if there is an error message for duplicate entry, i find just a Warning Message !

OBA5 should be enough, but you must remenber that the following fields must be identical for duplicate invoice check:
Company code (BUKRS)
Vendor number (LIFNR)
Currency (WAERS)
Reference number (XBLNR)
Amount in document currency (WRBTR)
Document date (BLDAT)
Note 305201 is also helpful.
