Error message RD 156 during extraction from the CO-PA system

Hi all
we are loading COPA from SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 SPS11 to our BW Netweaver 2004 SPS20 System every 2 hours
Once the COPA loads tries to pull data out of the object EKCCESVBE in table CESVB this is sometimes locked by a regular R/3 user
This issue is described in SAP Note 431350
We have even set the parameter to 30 retries (more than the OSS Note suggested)

DO 30 TIMES.

      L_TIME = SY-UZEIT + 20.
      WHILE L_TIME > SY-UZEIT.
        GET TIME.
      ENDWHILE.
      CLEAR L_SUBRC.
But still we are facing the issue that the data source is locked.
I am confident that we are not the only customers that would run into this issue
How do you handle COPA data loads?

Dear,
Please go to IMG path SPRO>Controlling>Profitability Analysis> Master Data>Valuatioin>Setup using Material Cost Estimate>Define Access to Standard Cost Estimate, there in Costing Variant you will find as YPC1, which in Customized one, please maintain PPC1 there...or remove it will work.
