Error message when trying to create any query

I am trying to run a query on my sql server and get the following error message:
"An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: The directory name is invalid."
how do I fix?

With me it had indeed something todo with some temp files.
Me and my colleague where logged on to a remote server (remote desktop connection), and on that server we were both using the sql management studio.
Suddenly we both received the error "An error occurred while executing batch. Error message is: The directory name is invalid.".
The solution for us was just logging out (ALL USERS) that were currently connected (with a remote desktop connection and that were working with the sql management studio) and afterwards logging back in. That solved it here.

Follow Sonicray's advice and when you post try to give as much info about your Mac, your OS, etc... Fill out your Profile info.

Error message when trying to create Recovery Media Creation

I have a HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC 15-n235sa and when trying to create my Recovery Media Creation on a 32GB Flash drive it comes up with the error mesage We are experiencing errors in recovering media creation. Please try again.
This is after.46% of Verify Disk section. So it is almost there.
I have tried 4 or 5 times with the same result.
Help!

Please try another USB Flash Drive or DVDs. USB Flash Drives indicating Windows 8 compatibility may not work for creating the recovery image. When you request this media, indicate that it is free because the HP Recovery Manager failed to work properly.

Error message when trying to create EM Repository

The following message came when trying to create the EM Repository:

I have installed the newest Java version: Java SE Development Kit 6u24
on Windows Server 2003 R2, but still have the same problem, when trying to
create the EM repository.
I also cannot check Java via command prompt: java -version.
Maybe this is a security issue on Windows Server 2003?

Error message when trying to create realm in OAS

I have deployed my app to OAS 10.1.3 from JDEV 10.1.3.3. I am trying to create a realm so I can set up roles and users but when I hit apply I get the following error message:
An error has occurred.
Error invoking method: addRealm on MBean: oc4j:j2eeType=Security,name=SecurityProvider,J2EEApplication=KATS,J2EEServer=standalone

Error message when trying to create DMG with Disk Utility

Have a highly confidential folder on my drive, so am driving to convert to a DMG file, with password protection. It gets nearly done with the DMG process then generates Error - 49168.
Anyone know what means?
1.I choose read-write as my access options
2.Under encryption I choose the AES setting. It asks me to create a password and I create one (unchecking the "remember password option, of course")
3. It seems to get through 95% of the process, then produces that error message.

A little Googling suggests that Norton Anti-Virus can cause this problem by trying to scan the image as it's being created. The fix seems to be to turn off NAV while creating the image.
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest rebooting from the system disk and having Disk Utility repair the disk, to make sure all is in good working order.

You can still create universe, just not UNX universe.
If you have upgraded Bi4.0 to Sp01 or SP02 - in IDT it will not let you do that.

No matter the website or browser i use. I keep getting this error message when trying to play any video. 'the adobe flash plug in has crashed' I had had theis prolbem well over a month, i have updated flash player and firefox. no change.

I have sent nearly a hundred crash reports. no change. adobe want money with no guarantee it can fix the problem. no matter the browser or website. the video never plays. I have update virus and anti-spam software. no other error message than the unhappy lego brick with error message stating adobe flash plug in has crashed. I have place a -1 in delay or some config in adobe. No change.

I'm not sure that you saw the error msg. included in the kb, but it discusses removing .msi files from previous installations of DM.   Post back and let us know how it goes.

Receive an error message when trying to import any videos from iphone to iphoto on my desktop. Help?

I have 6 videos on my iphone, varying in length from 24 seconds to 11 minutes, that will not import to iphoto. I have tried to import them as a group and individually but get a message that 'there was a problem accessing the file.' I had no difficulty importing over 300 photos from the phone to the desktop. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks. Anne

See if you can use Image Capture to upload the video files to a folder on the Desktop and then import from there into iPhoto.

you can try - remove and re-install microsoft office
you can try boot in safe mode - hold COMANDE-S at start up until see you are insafe mode then restart normaly and see if you can open word
you can try use font book too detect font conflict / problem
you can try use office database recover / repare program as folow , first quit ALL office application then hold ALT key and launche same time entourage or outlook and and folow software optiion for verify / reconstruct database

I am gettin an error message when trying to open a contact: "There was a temporary problem accessing your address book. Please try again in 10 minutes."

I am using an Yahoo Email and I can open a list of contacts but getting an error message when trying to open any of them. My OS is Windows Vista Service Pack 2 installed on a desktop.

Does this issue occur on another browser? If this issue does occur on another browser then I would like to say that it is a Yahoo issue and not a Firefox issue.
