Error msg-Adaptive RFC reimport could lead to inconsistency of R/3 metadata

Hi Experts,
I am trying to reimport the model for Webdynpro application.
I wanted to include more BAPIs to the existing model.
When i am trying to do that I get pop up, with following message;
"Adaptive RFC reimport could lead to inconsistency of R/3 metadata cached on J2ee server.
Thus it is recommended to invalidate the cache this could be done either by re starting the J2EE server or by using adaptive RFC metadata cache invalidatation tool within webdynpro Console"
Could anyone one help me in resolving this?

Hi,
When you reimport an RFC/BAPI the metadata which is stored in the cache is not cleared. So it still refers to the old RFC/BAPI metadata. We need to clear this. This can be done by either restarting the server or webdynpro console.
For Clearing through webdynpro console the version should be NW04 or 6.40 SP21 Onwards 2. NW04S or 7.0 SP12 Onwards

Some time ago, when i used NW EHP SP01, i developed an application using Adaptive RFC in Web Dynpro.
I call RFC BAPI_REQUISITIO_CREATE from ECC.

Hi Marcos,
I would rather say first check the status of JCOs. Then delete the model node from context and even from DC. Now freshly import the model, create a model node in context and then bind it to the input structure of the BAPI before you call the code.
Even in the code, check if you bind the instance of input structure of the BAPI to the model node in conext before you execute the model instance.

Broadcasting Workbook Error | An active RFC server could not be found

Hi All,
I am facing an issue while trying to broadcast(distribute) a workbook. The broadcasting of a query from the query designer works fine. But when I try to distribute a workbook, it throws up the following error. We have used the SMTP method(Using SMTP plug-in) for broadcasting and we know that we can use RFC(Using RFC connection) too. But my question is whether RFC method is a must for workbook distribution.Kindly help me.

Have you configured a Precalculation server in transaction RSPRECADMIN ?
Precalculation servers are basically PC, that are used for their Excel capabilities, in order to produce up-to-date workbooks.

Error in Adaptive RFC 2 Model

I am developing one webdynpro application in CE 7.1.1 (EHP1).
Created Model and import RFC to model.
I am trying to execute RFC from controller like :

How to execute RFC without execute method. Please any one provide sample code to execute RFC
This same code is working for Adaptive RFC Model(But this is deprecated in EHP1). I am trying to migrate same application in EHP1.

If i create new application in EHP1 IDE it is working fine.. no problem...
But I am trying to migrate applications which are developed in CE 7.1 SP5 to EHP1, i am getting this type of errors. In ".wdmodel" file of model it is showing Adaptive RFC2, but i am getting error in code(for execute()).

LSMW-Error Msg:No target structure could be found

hello friends,
I was trying to upload data for 0000.0001,0002 using LSMW,
first 3 steps are recorded, but when i reach the the 4th step , m getting an error msg :No target structure could be found.could u plz suggest y this error is coming and where to maintain the target structure.

U made the structure in the step2 and step3 thats fine
Now you are at step3 u r uploading or adding by ur own all the fields to structure
I mean to say did you able to see it?
Create a structure you can find all the structure fields at the time of creation of recording
Means
You can view that go to the first Step --- Execute it and display/change it -
Overview -
you can see the recorded struc -
double click on that to view whole struc.
Now you have to make the structure in the notepad according to the fields you have recorded only what you have to change not default.

I keep getting error msg "Oops! Firefox could not find..." a lot!

On websites that I visit often, I have started to receive "Oops! Firefox could not find xlforum.net", etc. This is happening a lot. I've already done a virus/malware scan and the problem still exists. Any idea what's going on?

My problem has not gone away. I've even done a system restore and it hasn't gone away. I've disabled all my add-ons as someone suggested, but that didn't help, so I put them all back in, one at a time, which is a real pain in the *ss, having to restart Firefox each time, but that didn't help. I know when I tried to load the newest version of Firefox I would keep getting a proxy not recognized error message over and over, so I went back to the last version.

Error Msg Help Can't Save PSD Files

This is the error msg its giving me,

I own PS4 and every plugin in the system. Can't anyone help me out?

Hi Experts,
I'm Trying to send the contracts (GOA) from SRM to R/3. I create the RFC port and the Idoc as sourcing configuration guide ( WE21, WE42, WE20) but doestn work. When the contract was realeased it show up the message error in SLG1.
The message error is ''No RFC connection could be found''.
The RFC was create too..with this RFC I make all replications by middleware. Is there other point to activate for this?

Hi Paulo,
The message types was defined as configuration guide for only inbound in R/3. In the configuration guide I found only informations about receive the idocs in R/3 (inbound). For inbound messages in R/3 system I defined BLAORD and COND_A, I tru to define teh same message types in outbound parametes in SRM,but the messages BLAORD e COND_A doesnt exists in SRM. Is there any documentation to make this?

No configuration guide não faz menção na definição das mensagens de saida (outbound) no SRM, encontrei somente a configuração enviando o contrato do R/3 para o SRM. O que eu preciso e enviar do SRM para o R/3. Tentei definir os mesmo parametros de entrada no R/3 na saida no SRM, porem o tipo de mensagem BLAORD e COND_A não existe. Se você tiver alguma documentação sobre isso eu agradeço.

Reimporting of Adaptive RFC model

Hi all, I have added two fields in the BAPI and i have reimported the Adaptive RFC model in Web Dynpro.
After running the application and accessing the new fields, i am getting this exception.
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
at com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$MetaData.getType(JCO.java:10161)
What could be the reason?

Hi,
As the error states MetaData.getType it seems that the new changes are not yet reflected in the J2EE server. You need to restart your engine once. You can search this forum for a workaround by Valery which doesnot need a restart.

Error while creating a Adaptive RFC Model

Hi all,
I am trying to create a Model using a Adaptive RFC Model, I assign a Model name and the logical system names, enter the details in SAP Logon Information for the Single server,here it gives me a Gateway error. What could be the issue here?
NB: In the Host Name , I tried with both the Host name of the r/3 server and also with the SAProuter string ( as we have the server at other place) ,still it doesnt work. and I am able to login to the R/3 system from the SAPLogon GUI from my desktop normally.
Is there any issue of the firewall related to this, if so whats the port number that should be opened so that i can connect to the r/3 system get the list of BAPIs present there into my Webdynpro application .
Need help on this

I have checked out with the your given suggestion of trying with the host name as well as IP address and also typing all the details,without copy pasting the details . In both the cases it gave the " Connect to gateway failed " error mesg.
But one intersting thing here that i observered when trying with hostname, IP address, or SAProuter string is as follows .
with IP address

Error in using Adaptive RFC

Hi,
I am using an Adaptive RFC to display values in a table in Webdynpro.There is an error " com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: Value is not numeric " which occurs when I try to display the data.
Could u please tell me what could be the reason for the occurence of this error.

2. Check the output node size is greater then 0.

Login failed error while importing an adaptive RFC model

Hi there,
I am trying to import a adaptive RFC model for a BAPI from a 46D system, to which I have connected using VPN from my WAS J2EE server. I have given the login details as Single server(Not load balancing), and given the user login details. However, I am not able to proceed further because it gives me the error 'Name or password is incorrect, please re-enter'. This is strange because I am giving the correct name and password, and I am able to login to this system through SAP GUI using same logon credentials.
I am confused as to what it is expecting to move forward. I have tried changing case of the user name, restarting my WAS etc. The client is correct, and the login language is EN.
Could anybody have any clues or have you faced a similar problem?

I have had the same problem.
I think whoever programmed the logon routine at that point should be fired immediately and banned from programming for life! Logging on is a very basic and well-understood task, and programmed gozillions of times since 1940s. Common sense and unwritten rules of programming dictate simply if you make something case-sensitive, then you should accept an input in its original form (i.e. password in smalls, or whatever) but not change it to uppercase and then work case-sensitively. Either this, or you program everything case-insensitively.

Error while creating adaptive RFC model

Dear All,
I am trying to create Adaptive RFC model by which i can fetch data from R/3 trough BAPI and display on the webDynpro UI.
I am getting error
Exception: org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Failed to execute runnable (java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC'
JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library librfc. Found version "640.0.55" but required at least version "640.0.76".)

While working with JDBCXIRFC, the only error with Reciever RFC Adapter is as
follows.
ZBAPICUSTOMER_DETAILS: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: could not get functionname from XML requst: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: failed to read funtionname from XML document: missing namespace declaration(2)
In SXMB_MONI, the messages are queued up.
How to debug this error?

I have mapped all the mandatory fields. If i enter same kind of values in the same fields of BAPI manually (in se37), the table gets updated.
how you can say that data is getting into the right tables...when you are sending the same data.....may be the data is old only..
Perform the Message Mapping and Interface Mapping test in IR only...
3. Kindly check the Sender_MM Mapping once more...If it is fine...reactivate and Update the cache..
Its fine and reactivated and even updated cache.
Now one doubt....
In Message mapping, the sender mesage type is as follows.

the root of sender message type SENDER_MT is left as it is....
Is there anything need to be done (mapped) with this root of sender message type?
No i don't think so, what i can get from your approach is that you want to receive n similar type of records in a Message and want 2 create n different messages for each record from source structure.. 
With this status, i have tested the Test Configuration in Integration Directory. Still getting same error message as follows...

Error in Import Adaptive RFC Model

Hi SDN,
I am trying to develop an application using Import Adaptive RFC Model, while creating a model i could not able to connect to the backend system after giving the single server parameters. When i click on the next button a pop up is displayed with an error message *"User Name or Password wrong" *.
But i could able to login to R/3 with the same userid and password from SAP logon pad.
Really i am at Six and Seven's to trace out this error. Please suggest me how to overcome this error and create the model succesfully.

Actually in order to import an adaptive rfc model
I have right clicked the model node to create a model and given the model name,package name,model data and metadata names and clicked next button. Then in the next screen
Tab Strip -> Single Server:

System Name:
Group:
(in Tcode: SLMG i have added the group public also)

After entering the required details either in Single Server or Load balancing and clicked the next button I could not able estabilish a connection to the backend R/3 and get the list of Bapi's or RFc's. Instead i am getting a pop up message "User Name or Password Wrong". I could not able to proceed from here.
But with the same above parameters i could able to logon to R/3 from SAP Logon Pad. I have tried by giving the user name in Cap's and small letters but no use.
As i was strucked at the intial step while creating the model but not during the execution of the program, as far as my knowledge is concerned i think we no need to worry on SLD or JCO connections during the creation of the model. Please correct me if i am wrong and suggest me to rectify the error.
