Hi,
Have you installed the JRE for linux?
Some linux distributions are not installed with the JRE. Some others are installed with the JRE but without the Swing package (I think this is your case). Try downloading the JRE from http://java.sun.com (about 15 MB).

    #I searched this problem and it seems like the problem comes from system(kernel or missing some library such as c ...) but I couldn' t solve it. Do you have any ideas?

    Yes , it does. I might be wrong but, I think the problem comes from stage initalization. Because I check the logs and every thing is ok. My environment is:
    OS: ubuntu 11.10 - 64 bit
    jdk: jdk1.7.0_03 - 32bit
    javafx: JavaFX 2.1 build b17

  • Error while running the Oracle Text optimize index procedure (even as a dba user too)

    Hi Experts,
    I am on Oracle on 11.2.0.2  on Linux. I have implemented Oracle Text. My Oracle Text indexes are fragmented but I am getting an error while running the optimize_index error. Following is the error:
    begin
      ctx_ddl.optimize_index(idx_name=>'ACCESS_T1',optlevel=>'FULL');
    end;
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.DRUE", line 160
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.CTX_DDL", line 941
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Now I tried then to run this as DBA user too and it failed the same way!
    begin
      ctx_ddl.optimize_index(idx_name=>'BVSCH1.ACCESS_T1',optlevel=>'FULL');
    end;
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.DRUE", line 160
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.CTX_DDL", line 941
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    Now CTXAPP role is granted to my schema and still I am getting this error. I will be thankful for the suggestions.
    Also one other important observation: We have this issue ONLY in one database and in the other two databases, I don't see any problem at all.
    I am unable to figure out what the issue is with this one database!
    Thanks,
    OrauserN

    How about check the following?
    Bug 10626728 - CTX_DDL.optimize_index "full" fails with an empty ORA-20000 since 11.2.0.2 upgrade (DOCID 10626728.8)

    ok - I think I've got it figured.  Appears to be a known issue.  You need to apply patch p17073913_121200.
    I downloaded that and applied to my Linux version - then re-ran the UA.  This time the GUI started and so now I'm going through the upgrade steps.
    The patch is generic, so should work for your windows environment too.  Good luck.

  • Stack overflow error while running Jprofiler for Jboss 4.0.2

    I am getting the below mentioned error while running Jprofiler for Jboss App server.
    My JVM version on linux is:
    03:39:16,286 INFO [ServerInfo] Java version: 1.5.0_03,Sun Microsystems Inc.
    03:39:16,287 INFO [ServerInfo] Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM 1.5.0_03-b07,Sun Microsystems Inc.
    03:39:16,287 INFO [ServerInfo] OS-System: Linux 2.6.9-34.ELsmp,i386
    Could pass any pointers what could be wrong. This is first time I am using Jprofiler.

    You could try increasing the thread stack size, e.g. something like
    'java -XX:ThreadStackSize=768 ...'
    But you should really be asking the JProfiler people, they would probably give you better advice.

    In that case you should probably check that no other packages are missing files with
    pacman -Qkk 2>&1 | grep "No such file or directory"
    Any packages that report that they're missing files, you should reinstall.

  • Error while running new OEM 11.1.0.7 feature: SQL Monitoring

    I am running OEM Database control with the new 11g version, Oracle 11.1.0.7. I am trying to work with the new feature SQL Monitoring, but I am getting the following error:
    Loading data error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]
    Did someone saw that feature actually working? I only saw it in the OOW Demo.
    I am getting the error both in Windows and Linux installations. Any idea why this error happen and how to overcome it?

  • URL not found error while loading photo on Linux

    Hi,
    I have a AIR 2.0 appliaction which works perfectly well on Windows but while I run it on Linux Loader object can't load any photo. I tried many path variations but I always get Error #2035: URL Not Found.
    Here's how I load a photo (with hard coded URL)
    _imageLoader.load(new URLRequest("/home/piotr/105755/damage_photos/17.jpg"));
    I'm sure that "/home/piotr/105755/damage_photos/" path is correct. I pasted it to files explorer address text input and expected directory was opend. I'm also sure that 17.jpg file exists in that directory.
    When I trace IOError message it says: Error #2035: URL Not Found. URL: app:/home/piotr/105755/damage_photos/17.jpg
    My questions are:
    What "app:" does in my URL... can it cause the problem? If yes, how can I get rid of it?
    Is there anything specific about UNIX systems and Loader that should I know about?
    How can I load file from hard drive other way than by Loader object?
    I use AIR 2.0 SKD, Flex 4.5 SKD and Ubuntu 10.04. Could anyone help me, please?

    Hi,
    Just a test, can you try to do this:
    var f:File = new File(File.userDirectory.nativePath+File.separator+"105755"+File.separator+"damage_photos" +File.separator+"17.jpg");
    _imageLoader.load(new URLRequest(f.url));

    Can you give more details what you are trying to do or trying to accomplish. Where are you trying to ping to?
    It could be that you have not defined your gateway or DNS server for name to IP mapping. What is the output of
    # netstat -rn
    # cat /etc/resolv.conf

    Here's what I'm trying to do:
    I am trying to us BDBXML in a webapp using tomcat 5.5. I have a class that is responsible for opening and closing the db. This class is accessed by a servlet for some AJAX RCP stuff and it also serves as an access point for a Web Service (Apache Axis). This class looks like this:
    public class DG implements Serializable {
    private javax.xml.datatype.DatatypeFactory datatypeFactory;
    private Environment environment;
    private EnvironmentConfig environmentConf;
    private XmlContainer xmlContainer = null;

I'm using the Web Service point for other servers to access the database. Everything starts up and runs for a little while, but I can't seem to pin down what causes the errors. I've run recovery multiple times as well as started new databases. Any help is appreciated.

    There's a bug in your use of DB XML somewhere. Are you committing or aborting every transaction that you start, and calling delete() explicitly on all the DB XML objects that you use?
    Those errors mean your database has become corrupted somehow.
