Error on running Orace Bussiness Component Browser

Hello,
I am running the sample application OnlineOrders of JDeveloper 3.2.3 against an Oracle 9i database, I tested OnlineOrdersModule and it did work, I can see most of the views on the Oracle Business Component Browser, but I get error with 2 of those views (tables), and any form I run that sample application I always get this error when a view tries to access these two tables:
oracle.sql.TypeDescriptor
oracle.sql.TypeDescriptor.getTypeDescriptor(java.lang.String, oracle.jdbc.OracleConnection, byte[], long)
Why do I get this error and what can I do to correct this?

oracle.sql.TypeDescriptor.getTypeDescriptor(java.lang.String, oracle.jdbc.OracleConnection, byte[], long)Can you post the ViewObject names that do not work?
Note that JDev 3.2.3 was shipped before Oracle9i and you may need to work with the 9i jdbc classes to talk to 9i database.

"Invalid User ID" error while running OSoft Application in browser

Hi,
I have installed BPC 7.5 SP04 in Multi Server environment where SQL Server, OLAP Server, Reporting Server on one machine and Application Server and Web Server on other machine, After installing I tried to run Osoft application via url "http://Application Server name/OSoft" as suggested in Install guide but receiving "Invalid User ID" error
Error Information
Server Error in '/OSoft' Application.
Invalid UserID
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.Exception: Invalid UserID
Please guide me on this as what can be the cause of this error and how to fix it.
I have used Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7.

First login must be done with Installation user.
In your case you tried to login from your PC where you were conected with your user.
This user is used to connect to BPC and this user has no rights into BPC.
It was used this user because BPC allow Windows authentication.
So you have to go into IE - Tools - Internet Options
Select Security Tab - Select Intranet
Push Custom Level
Go to section - User Authentication - select "Prompt always user and pwd"
Close IE
Open again and try http://nameofserver/osoft you will receive now a prompt for user and pwd.
Input an user and pwd with access to BPC and you will see this time the page will be load correct.

Error in running the console in browser

I am also getting the same problem as smith,
for [wlserver6.1 with SP1, wlportal4.0, ebcc4.0, Windows NT4.0]
the server has been started successfully,
but if i try to start the console in the browser using(http://localhost:7501/console/index.jsp)
am getting classnotfound exception, the

You have created a EmployeeEO which must be based on some table. Can you please check that this table has who columns or not.

How do I insert/Delete/Update a row to the DB Table from Business Component Browser

I am using the wizard and created a project containing Business component which contain some table.
When I run the project I could see "Oracle Business Component Browser(local)" and when I select some table from "View Object Member" I get a window displaying all the field of that table and I could browse all the info.
My Problem is when I try to insert a new record/Delete the existing record or update some record it never gets reflected to the DataBase.
When I try to insert a new row I did save and there was a dialog box displayed saying "Transaction ID is 1". But finally It's not reflected in the Database.
Can some one guide me how can I do insert/delete/update operation from Oracle Component Business Browser so that the changes reflect to the Original DataBase.

Jitendra,
This may be a problem of caching. If you do an update,insert, or delete, and do not receive an error, then the transaction should indeed be posted.
I assume you are hitting the Save icon after your changes if you are getting a transaction ID. Are you checking for the updates through another session (i.e. SQL*Plus), or do you then requery the View Object in the tester? Do you exit the tester and come back in and not see the changes?

Business component browsing may be unavaliable

Hey there guys,
Learning the basics of ADF here. Tried running my application module so I could take a look at my VOs and no data was showing up... I'm seeing "Business Object Browsing may be unavailable" and am struggling to figure out why... my google-fu is weak.
Possible compatibility issue? I'm running WLS 10.3.5, Oracle XE 11g release 2, jDev 11.1.1.6.0.

Unfortunately I have run my app module as you've said, but that's where I became concerned. The Business Component Browser pops up at that point which correctly displays all of the EOs and VOs on the lefthand side but as I look through them none of my data is being queried. The textboxes for my colums are blank and greyed out as I look through the objects, I cannot browse my data with the left/right arrows. This is why I started looking for suspect exceptions/warnings.

JBO-25200 in Business Component Browser in JDeveloper 9.3.3

I create Application Module for ODBC bridge database (Access). It works fine in JDeveloper 9.3.2. But in JDeveloper 9.3.3 I receive JBO-25200 error when I try test it in Business Component Browser.
Why?

Are you able to run the query directly in Database:

Error in running JSP

An Project containing Business components and JSP was developed using JDeveloper 3.0 version ( using wizards). I am unable to run main.jsp inside the JDeveloper environment. What could be the reason.
When the file is run in IE with java web server, then main.jsp, contents.jsp are opening up but it gives JBO error for insert,view,edit JSPs. ( Unable to create application module is the error shown).
Help or suggestions in any way is required urgently. Thanks in advance

If the error says
"Unable to create application module"
Then you better find the solution to this problem first before assuming it has anything to do with JSPs.
You can test your Business Components for Java applicaiton by right clicking on the
Application Module and selecting Test.
This will launch the Business Component Browser (after connect dialog) -
if you get there then, the Application Module
has been created - if not - you may see some
error as to why.
If you are still having problems, try creating a new BC application using the
File | New Project ... wizard and
selecting all defaults -
Select a couple of tables, create the
view object, create the application module,
test the results.

Error in Running a Page in Jdeveloper through VPN

I am having an issue running a Hello World Page in JDeveloper9i through VPN. When I try to run a page, web browser is trying to open
the page based on the Host Name or IP Address used to refer to Embedded OC4J.
It would be really great if you could help me to resolve this issue.

The exact error is I cannot view the HelloWorld Page.
I can access the database through VPN. I checked the Application Login/pwd and Responsibility name and Key. Everything is correct.
There are four options to select from embedded OC4J, I tried all the four options but the HelloWorld page is not displaying.

FRM-92101 error while running report from a button or menu

Hi All,
I am getting the error FRM-92101 while running report without parameter from a button or menu. I am using Developer Suit 10g. I get the error as it shows there has some configuration problem in my form. Will you please help me anyone how can i solve the problem. My previous forms running very well both with parameter and without parameter.

In that case I have changed the query to run the report. first of all i create a view following the query and build the report using a simple select query. that's etc. my report running fine now.

I have been using itunes on my windows based pc for years but since installing the latest itunes update I have been getting the error message A required itunes component is not installed. Please reinstall itunes. (-42404)

I have been using itunes on my windows 64 bit laptop for years but since downloading the latest itunes 10.7 update whenever I opened itunes the error message 'A required itunes component is not installed. Please reinstall itunes (-42404)'
Itunes would still load and play music in my library and I could still sync my ipod but when loading a CD itunes would not recognise the album/tracks and I would need to type them manualing after uploading.
I have just bought the new iphone5 and went to sync the phone with itunes. itunes recognises the iphone when plugged in via the usb port or when wi fi is turned on but itunes will not allow the phone to sync.
I spent over an hour the other morning speaking to apple customer support and have ensured I have administer right and that UAC is turned off.
I was taken through msconfigure and adjusted the startup tab but still no joy.
In the end I was e-mailed instructions on how to uninstall and then reinstall itunes and component parts.
Now that I've uninstalled itunes when I try reinstalling I get the following messages during the download.
The 1st message is;
'The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\Web kit.resources\inspector\Images\Spinner Inactive Selected.gif.'
When I click ok the next message that appears sometime later during the install is;
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) Failed to start Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
The options I have are to abort, retry or ignore. If I retry the same message comes back and if I abort or ignore the download continues and I then get the following message:
'Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run itunes Helper. Please uninstall itunes, then reinstall itunes again. Error 2'
After attempting to reinstall itunes only some components were installed however itunes would not open.
It would appear many people have experienced problems with this latest download!

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Error while running the SSIS package from SQL DB to excel file - export option

hi all,
I have 4.6 million records in my sql db and i want to copy this into a excel file. for this i went to the db and rt click and export to command and started the ssis package running. but after
few minutes, it throws me an error that "error in transferring data into excel file."
Can anyone help me why this happened and the resolution ?

You need to split your data and create (at least 5) worksheet targets.
For example if you have a ROW_NUMBER column you can use for instance a
Conditional Split for something like:
ROW_NUMBER % 5 == 0 for Case 1 (excel 1)
ROW_NUMBER % 5 == 1 for Case 2 (excel 2)
ROW_NUMBER % 5 == 2 for Case 3 (excel 3)
ROW_NUMBER % 5 == 3 for Case 4 (excel 4)

Error in running package with config file

I have a 2012 package and it is referring to a config file which has the DB connectionstring. This config file was created through the "Package Configuration Organizer". When I execute the package through VS 2012, it works fine(Reads the config
