Hi,
I had the same problem. Check your PL/SQL code for the use of visaul attributes CG$ITEM and CG$DISPLAY_ITEM. They do not exist anymore in HeadStart 6.5. You have to replace them with QMS$BLACK_ON_WHITE for CG$ITEM and QMS$BLACK_ON_GRAY for CG$DISPLAY_ITEM.

    Thanks,
    Santosh

    Hi Santosh,
    1. Check whether namespace sap.com/paasrformstep even exists on your portal. Take a look at the content administrator of WebDynpro Tools. Should be "http://server:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer"
    2. Make sure you don't have any Typos in the Service-Name of your iView (case sensitive!)
    3. Check your NWA monitoring trace log where you can see the java stack and see where the error actually occurs.
    Also, maybe this thread helps:

    Atal,
    Not sure of any docs, but you surely can try in metalink. Moreover as the forms gets launched on 1st invocation and the error code is related to forms, I will suggest to check this issue with forms forum.

  • Errors opening form?

    Hi again friends, when I open a form, it appears the following errors:
    FRM-18108: Failed to load the following objects.
    Source Module:oprin.olb
    Source Object: CGSO$NUMBER_MD_MR
    (..... several source objects....)
    Source Module:OPA00005.olb
    Source Object: COMUN
    (..... several source objects....)
    And after that:
    FRM-10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library F:\myappfolder\Exes\REP_GENERAL. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved.
    ....(this errors appears with more libraries...)
    I have my forms in c:\myappfolder, and my pll,plx and olb files in c:\myappfolder\lib
    Mmm I'm asking my self why it appears the "F:"...
    Do I need to attach again all pll in all the forms?? :-(
    Thanks
    Jose.

    Hi,
    what I did'nt understad is why it didn't work if I have the .pll and .plx files only in the c:\myapp\lib folder instead of c:\myapp (where are the .fmb files)
    But.. if it works.. this is not a big problem.. (although it's not a "good" programming practise, of course)
    Well.. these are the problems when you inherite an application, you know...
    Now.. it remains some errors loading some of the .fmb.
    i.e: Failed to load the following object;
    Source module oprin.olb
    Source object CGSO$CHAR_CT_DO
    What a headache!

  • WUC-20 errors openning form using webutil

    We have configured several forms to use Webutil. We have moved a Windows 9iAS deployment to Linux. When running under linux we get WUC-20 errors for files jacob.dll, d2kwutil.dll and JNIsharedstubs.dll. I wondered if the file sizes were slightly changed by moving them to linux. Checking the size with 'ls -l' verifies that they are the same as in the webutil.cfg file.
    Any suggestions to resolve this?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I believe I have delt with the CRLF characters and have done so again and rechecked.
    I have run the application on a pc without a Jinitiator install and have found the three dlls do not appear to be downloading properly so that I have the three files showing as 1KB in C:\program files\oracle\jinitiator 1.3.1.9\bin.
    Any advice would be much appreciated.

  • My PDFs with form fields get "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." on anothers computer, PC and MAC

    Im creating PDFs through InDesign and using Acrobat Pro 9 to add fields.  I save them to allow ADobe Reader people to use them.  Everything works fine on Pro and Reader on my end with a PC as well as someone elses PC.  But one person using Mac said some forms work and some dont.  Those that dont get the error "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."  Ive resaved them and made sure they work and same problem.  There is nothing overly coplex about the PDFs either, a date field at the most.  They are using Reader 9.1.
    I found out the other day that one person who can open them adds info to them saves them and send over to that other person and cannot open any of them after they have been edited, same error.  He even tried on a PC and still gets it.
    I dont know what to do.  I know it has to be on his end and not mine.  What else can I suggest to him??

    It sounds like they are using an earlier version of Acrobat or Reader, though you said Reader 9.1. If you add some features in AA9 that are new, it appears that earlier versions see the new features as damaged files. At least that is my guess. Try using Reduce File Size or PDF Optimize to save to an earlier version and see if that helps. The other option is that you are getting them messed up in e-mail because many client look at PDF files as ascii and do not encrypt them. In that case force the encryption. You can also send them in ZIP form.

    Can anyone who is having these issues send the crash dump to [email protected] and I will forward them to R&D for investigation.
    Here are instructions on where and how to get the dump files.
    =================================================================
    Sometimes it is useful to capture an ad-hoc minidump file from FormDesigner when it crashes. Here are instructions for doing this on Vista, and XP.
    On Vista 32 bit, wait for the app to crash, and while the "your app has crashed" dialog is still visible, go to Task Manager process list, right click on FormDesigner .exe, and select "Create Dump File' from the context menu. After the dump file is written, its location will be shown in a second dialog box. The "designer crashed" dialog can then be dismissed.
    For Vista 64 bit, I think the dump files produced this way are probably not useful, because they will show stacks for the "64 bit side" of the 32 bit process, which is not what we want to look at. For Vista64, it is probably necessary to attach a real debugger to FormDesigner .exe and write a dump file.
    On XP, if the default drwtsn32 post-mortem debugger is installed, the dump of the last crash is available at "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp". If the user has installed a different post-mortem debugger (e.g. visual studio) or disabled things somehow, then an ad-hoc dump can be made by waiting for the "designer crashed" dialog, and leaving that open. Then go to task manager's process list and note the process ID of FormDesigner .exe. Then bring up a command prompt and type:
    Drwtsn32 -p designer_PID
    where designer_PID is the process ID of FormDesigner .exe found in task manager. After that, the "designer crashed" dialog can be closed, and the dump will be found in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp".
    Along with the crash dump file, you should provide the exact build number of the FormDesigner executable you are running (e.g. 8.2 is not sufficient.) You can find the build number by right clicking on FormDesigner .exe and looking at the "Details" tab. It's the "Product Version" entry.

    I tried to submit an interactive PDF form,  but received a message: Error opening URL to submit the form. My form is created in InDesign cs6 and exported to interactive PDF with text fields. any one has some tips to deal wiith this?

    Did you get this resolved? I am doing the same thing, passing in a url to the submitForm method via cURL. I am submitting as FDF, and specifying the #FDF at end of URL.
    Currently working against a localhost url, which is allowed and trusted in acrobat to rule out the enhanced security of the reader.
    Any ideas?

    Its urgent can anyone help me..............
    Regards,
    Anitha

    Anitha,
    Im not sure, but I think that this will be due not properly release of com object (because this error belongs to coms obj.).
    By opening form you may go through lines in code and check where the error occurs. SBO is known with problem of releasing object, where object = nothing is not for SBO enough. Try to release the object as
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(obj)
    obj = Nothing
    GC.Collect()
    its just my idea
