The number of contacts on my Macbook,iPhone and iCloud are all different. So when i tried to import contacts which i thick are called vCards from my address book on to my iCloud through the options menu on icloud a message came up saying "invalid vCards"? Any ideas? Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.

When I tried to import from my camera, the last day did not import, I keep retrying, but will not import. Could it have anything to do with the date Feb 29, 2012 as it was Leap Year?

Image Capture is an Apple App that comes with the OS. Allows you to do a bunch of things. Import pictures from your camera is one. Open the app with your camera connected. If you have Aperture set to open when the camera is connected just close Aperture and then open Image Capture.
You'll see the camera and it should show you the images on the camera card. See if the images from the 29th show up.

Sunilok - I think I've got it figured. Appears to be a known issue. You need to apply patch p17073913_121200.
I downloaded that and applied to my Linux version - then re-ran the UA. This time the GUI started and so now I'm going through the upgrade steps.
The patch is generic, so should work for your windows environment too. Good luck. -
My Mac OSX (version 10.7.5) is coming up with error message when I try to write a disc "The disc can’t be burned because the disc drive is not accessible (error code 0x80020020)." I have tried several discs with the same message - Same also when I tried my external disc writer. Both disc drives will read my discs that have music or photos on it, it just won't write any new discs - any clues?

So, I tried all the suggestions and followed the links - all to no avail.
as you can see, (screenshot below) my iMac is a 21.5 inch late 2009 model which isn't showing in the updates listed above
My system report shows that my Mac has the following:
I reset the PRAM and the SMC - still have the same error message when I try to burn discs. I've used both CD's and DVD's and tried with my external Discwriter too.
Any further suggestions?? -
I saved my playlists on my new computer as per the instructions in iTunes help. Then I tried to import the playlists on my new computer but the files were nowhere to be found. Found the correct directory, but not there. my computers are connected on a network, so I don't know what I am doing wrong? Anyone have any ideas?

Hello, I sure hope someone can help me. My itunes music has ALL disappeared....and when I tried to replace it {I guess it's known as import it from my CD} it seemed to remain forever on 0.02 and would not move on to the other song....I became frustrated....and ejected the CD....and got a pop up window telling me pretty much that this was a no-no....anyway...I clicked on my itune icon to open it up and start with another CD to import music....well now my icon won't open and everytime I click on it to open I get a pop up window from Apple...asking if it is ok to make changes....I click yes...and nothing happens....I also tried to see the compalibility and it is now telling me it is not combatiable......well it was yesterday and the day before...and even a few minutes ago...when I was able to open it once....What does this mean? I just had my computer cleaned out.....could it have been something they did? Do I have to uninstall it and reinstall it?? Also when I first opened itunes....I got a pop up window saying something to the effect...that I had 2 itunes and was only allowed 1....and did I wish to transfer my purchases....and I can't remember what else it said....I chose transfer....and those were the only songs I could find on my itunes before it wouldn't let me open it again.....Can someone help PLEASE.....newbie here
You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone.

If you were using ios7 beta prior to the update and your now stuck in recovery mode, others have figured it out and ive talked with senior advisement on the matter to flag this issue. All you need to do apperently is go to a different computer and "recover" your iphone to ios 7 through that. A lot of us developers have had this issue.

I downloaded Thunderbird to the PC and imported the email messages and folders into Thunderbird and was able to create Mbox files for all the folders and messages. I copied these files to a usb stick and then tried to export the folders and messages to my iMac running Lion. It appeared to copy the folders to the Mac but only one message per folder was placed on the computer. Does anyone have any ideas on how I should proceed to copy these email messages over? However during the process of adding new songs itunes crashed and i had to end task therefor not getting the chance to sync the new songs onto ipod nano. later when i plugged in my current ipod touch all my songs have disappeared and i cant find the original itunes library i had for it! is there anyway to get it back? i have tried pressing shift when opening itunes but still cant find the original itunes that i had!!
Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

RoboHelp 9 gives an out of memory error and crashes when I try to import or link a Frame 10 file or
I have Tech Suite 3. If I start a new RoboHelp project and try to import or link Frame files, RoboHelp tries for a while, then I get an Out of Memory error and the program crashes.
I opened one of the sample projects and was able to link to one of my frame files without any problem, so it seems to be an issue with creating something new.
Any suggestions?It happens when I create a new project and then try to import or link frame docs to make up the content. It starts scanning, then crashes. I did get it to the conversion setting page once, but no further.
It does not happen if I open one of the supplied example projects and link a file. But then it doesn't let me choose, during import, any style mapping. And I can't delete the sample project fold
Twice now it has told me when I tried to import (not link, but import) that my .fm file could not be opened, and told me to verify that Frame is installed (it is) and that the file is a valid frame file (it is).
The docs and project are in separate folders on my C: drive. -
