We are using EDI X12 over generic exchange. I double checked ecs file and data file. Passing all the mandatory elements. Also checked the delimeters and they match from datafile to setup.
Anyone have faced this error before? We opened a SR with Oracle and they are not able to figure it out. Please help.
Thanks
Venkat
Ramesh,
To give you a little background I used Spec Generator functionality to create ecs from dat file. Then I did an export to OracleAS Integration B2B format which generated xsd file. I also analyzed (using preprocessor) giving both ecs and dat file and it passed with no errors.
Following your suggestion I now excluded ISA/GS guidelines from the ecs file, exported to xsd and tried to process the dat file, and it gives following error messages now...It doesn't even identify the trading partner now. Please advise. Thanks

No error on not filling the Mandatory Data elments
While using both COM & SOM functionality, many a times manual tasks can be completed even when the mandatory data elements are not filled and no error is shown.
Generally speaking, OSM will refuse to allow a task to transition to a completed state if the number of instances of each piece of data visible to that task is not between the min and max cardinality (inclusive).
If you can provide more details on the problem that would be helpful to understand what is happening in your scenario.

Error processing request ORACLE-01403:no data found
We surmounted the blank page issue by applying the patch to APEX 4.2.2.
Now we patched/upgraded to APEX 4.2.3, and no longer have the blank page issue, but have this one that seems similar:
I am trying here, since I am not getting any debug messages - the POST goes in and immediately comes back with the no data found error.
APEX 4.2.3
APEX Listener 2.0.2
Glassfish 4.0
Apps install OK, and can display the Login page (Show), but when trying to Login (Accept),
immediately get this error:
Error Error processing request
ORA-010403: no data found
Debug messages only shows Show entries - nothing , not even the Accept first line.
Firebug shows similar - upon Post (which looks OK) the immediate response is the error page and message.
I do not have access to the APEX Listener logs tonight, but expect to get to them, or have someone check them
out, tomorrow AM.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
This happens across all apps (15) except for one. Am still trying to discern the different in that app vs the others.
Thank you -An update:
I have verified that some apps work, and some apps show the
Error Error processing request
ORA-01403: no data found
error.
Happens across different workspaces.
Have confirmed that for an app that has the error,
I get the error using the APEX Listener deployment.
I do NOT get the error using the HTTP server deployment.
This is the same in a Linux environment and in a Windows environment.
For one app, I have an earlier version that gives the error, a later version (new app #) that does not give the error.
APEX 4.2.3
APEX Listener 2.0.3.221.10/3
Glassfish 4.0
Again even at Debug Level 9, I get no debug entries for the POST
For an app that gives the error, the APEX Listener log entries are (from the POST):

Any ideas?
I have tried all of the Compatibility settings, no difference.
If it is something I can change in the app, that would be great.
The app that does not work was imported from an APEX 4.1 instance.
The app that does work was imported from an APEX 4..3 instance (Windows, APEX 4.2.3, APEX Listener 2.0.3, recently upgraded from APEX 4.2.2 and APEX Listener 2.0.2).
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated,

Error processing request ORACLE-01403:no data found (pt.2)
Hi, all.
We've experienced the problem that seems to be resolved in topic
Error processing request ORACLE-01403:no data found
I followed the lead but didn't found problem they were talking about - no two #FORM_OPEN# directive in page template.
We have Apex 4.2.2.00.11 patchset installed
I cannot tell Apex Listner version for now because our sysadmin who installed it is absent
And problem appears in different versions of Internet Expolrer, but application is working fine in FirefoxHi, all.

Error in file export when order of elements in build array changes
Hi everyone,
A while ago I wrote a vi file which does the following:
At first it initializes a camera and chooses a region of interest (ROI). Data out of the ROI will be discarded.
Then it raster scans a motor stage in x and y direction, in bidirectional mode (meaning that x alternates between scanning from left to right and right to left as y is inreased).
For each point of the scan, the spectrum is collected, which is then integrated in lambda to give an idea of the total intensity.
Then the intensity is plotted, along with the spectrum at each point.
The final results are exported in a text file.
The problem:
If I flip the order of the wires in the "build array" before the file export, placing the Total Count (intensity) wire in place of the Spectrum wire, the file export fails. What I mean by "fails" is that the .txt file contains characters that look like chinese!
Why is that?
I attach my .vi as well as two screenshots which demostrate the problem.
Solved!

Hey Jeff... The changes you recommend are all good (and necessary) but the thing I'm stuck on is that regardless of what happens to the floating point data, there's that built-in VI that changes it to string representations of the numbers. And as I understand it, that is where the problem is.
Mike...
PS: Coming to NI Week?
Not this year
What scared me was the sgls on a SLs with no wire branch to force a data copy which, would force LabVIEW to preserve the sgls since the SL might need to be used again then, they get all mixed up building arrary out of mixed coerced sgls and dbls. With the potential of a miss-reussed buffer (not uncommon in 2011) confusing the string operations in the write to spreadsheet. The problem of course, must exist outside of write to spreadsheet file since it only exhibits with a build array element order change. Or, we all are halucinating (Possible alternate theory)

Error while Adding Profit Center Data element to Data Model of MDG-M
Hello gurus,
Can any one help me in adding profit center filed (Data element) to zztable, basically want to use the Data Element (PRCTR).
Getting error" There is an attribute with data element assigned that refers to a check table. Besides the client, the check table can only have one key field that corresponds to the attribute.
Regards,
MandapatiHi Mandapati,
looks like you are assigning data element in existing attribute or you are assigning data element more than once.
Try to create a new attribute and then assign the Data Element (PRCTR).
Go to General Settings-> Data Modeling-> Edit Data Model.
Select your datamodel( note that it should be MDGM data model. For MDG the MDGM data model is called MM. We can only add pre-delivered SAP ERP material master database field to an MDGM entity as an attribute)
Select the entity types and then the attributes subdialog.
Create a new attribute and assign a data element. The system then derives the properties, field labels for the attribute

Converting char data element to curr data element?
Hi,
In one of the transaction we have a custom field (Amount field) - but they used char data element for this currency field. And now in this field if we dont supply amount value in Currency format then the program is dumping.
I need to solve this situation.
1. This data element is using in lot of various tables, views and structures. So If I change this data element then how to handle rest of the object?
Do we have any other solution to solve this issue?
Please share your opinions.
Thanks a lot.
Venkat.Hi thanks for your information.
What ever the field I am talking about in the transaction, the same field has been created in several SAP tables,structures and views. So If I change the data element for this field its going to impact all other objects?
But I am in the process of finding why this data element(currency field) has been created in char fomat.
So if I change in the data element all other tables,views do I need to activate again? or when I activate this data element is it take cares?
If I want to use field exit, as this is a custom field we can create field exit for this?
Thanks a lot for ur information.

Archive Part of Photoshop Elements is missing error message
My old computer died with the last Win7 update. I'm trying to reinstall my Photoshop Elements 9 on my new computer. When I try to download and run Part 2 of 2 I'm getting the error that the archive part of PS Elements is missing. Part 1 of 2 downloaded and extracted fine as far as I can tell. How can I get PS Elements 9 back? Thanks.
Unfortunately when I click the link for the first file (Windows), I'm
getting the following error:

Any help/pointers will be appreciated.
AshishJust for anyone else who hits this problem: I encountered the same issue with an XML document that XMLSpy claims is quite well formed. I opened the document in a hex editor, and there at the from was a three-byte byte order marker - the marker that I believe the UTF-8 standard says is optional. I removed these three bytes, and the file was parsed correctly.
In this case, the XML file was created using a Microsft DOM (save).
My solution is to make the java parser - as I use it - a tad more robust: Open the file and create an input stream - a pushback input stream. Read the first three bytes; if they are NOT a BOM, then push those bytes back. Now - in any case - give the stream to the parser to read.
try {
// Open file for reading.
f = new File(path);
FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(f);
PushbackInputStream pis = new PushbackInputStream(fis);
byte[] buf = new byte[3];
pis.read(buf, 0, 3);
if (! (buf[0] == 0x00EF) && (buf[1] == 0x00BB) && (buf[2] == 0x00BF) ) {
pis.unread(buf, 0, 3);
builder = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance().newDocumentBuilder();
doc = builder.parse(pis);
catch (Exception x) {
x.printStackTrace();

Getting error while updating data element using Xquery Automator
Hi,
I am getting following error while i am trying to update a data element in my task.
<Nov 28, 2011 5:02:40 PM IST> <Error> <oms> <BEA-000000> <automation.AutomationDispatcher: Failed to execute
on/plugin/external/ACOI_TMIP_POC/1.0.0/CLARIFY_Task.automatedtask.acoi_tmip_poc.ResponseAutomation] due to E
hile running Script resource [file:///D:/AshishWorkspace_WithOrchestration/ACOI_TMIP_POC/resources/CLARIFY_R
exception location: ; SystemID: module with no systemId*; Line#: 15; Column#: -1*
com.mslv.oms.automation.AutomationException: Exception thrown while running Script resource [file:///D:/Ashi
rchestration/ACOI_TMIP_POC/resources/CLARIFY_Response.xquery]; exception location: ; SystemID: *module with
e#: 15; Column#: -1
the Xquery that i am using is pretty simple:
declare namespace automator = "java:oracle.communications.ordermanagement.automation.plugin.ScriptSenderContextInvocation";
declare namespace context = "java:com.mslv.oms.automation.TaskContext";
declare namespace log = "java:org.apache.commons.logging.Log";
declare namespace oms="urn:com:metasolv:oms:xmlapi:1";
declare namespace prop = "OSM_POC";
declare variable $xmlnsosm7POC := "";
declare variable $log external;
declare variable $automator external;
declare variable $context external;
let $CLFY_XML := //CLFY_XML
let $Id_Number :=//Id_Number
return
automator:setUpdateOrder($automator,"true"),
log:info($log,fn:concat('ID request number is: ', $Id_Number)),
<ord:OrderDataUpdate xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:odu="http://www.oracle.com/OMS/OrderDataUpdate" targetNameSpace="http://www.oracle.com/OMS/OrderDataUpdate" xmlns:ord="urn:com:metasolv:oms:xmlapi:1">
<ord:Add path="/CLFY_ID">{data($Id_Number)}</ord:Add>
</ord:OrderDataUpdate>
Can anyone please tell me the reason due to which this error is coming.
Thanking in advance
Ashish GargHello.
Ok I need you to tell me a little bit more about your automator, did you config an Xquery Automator with Event Type: Internal?
You should declare namespace automator = "java:oracle.communications.ordermanagement.automation.plugin.ScriptReceiverContextInvocation";
instead of
declare namespace automator = "java:oracle.communications.ordermanagement.automation.plugin.ScriptSenderContextInvocation";
And let my ask you, what are you trying to do with the next lines:
let $CLFY_XML := //CLFY_XML
let $Id_Number :=//Id_Number
Becouse I think you are trying to acces the data on the task, If that is the reason, you should better use something like:
let $order := ..//oms:GetOrder.Response
let $orderId := $order/oms:_root/oms:orderHeader/oms:orderId
with the above lines you are accesing the data that has been added to the task and the just acces the node that you nedd, for example here Im accesig the node
orderId under OrderHeader
Another thing is that if you want to update node which already exists in the task data, then you have to use something like:
<OrderDataUpdate xmlns="http://www.metasolv.com/OMS/OrderDataUpdate/2002/10/25">
<Update path="/orderHeader/orderId">{$orderId}</Update>
</OrderDataUpdate>
But if you have to add a new path you should have something like this:
<OrderDataUpdate xmlns="http://www.metasolv.com/OMS/OrderDataUpdate/2002/10/25">
<Add path="/OrderHeader">
<Transaction>
<Name>{$orderId/text())}</Name>
<ComponentKey>{$controlData/text()}</ComponentKey>
</Transaction>
</Add>
</OrderDataUpdate>
For the above transaction you should have in the dictionary the structure, OrderHeader in the root, and inside this the structure another node with the respective names
<Transaction>
<Name>{$orderId/text())}</Name>
<ComponentKey>{$controlData/text()}</ComponentKey>
</Transaction>
Another thing is that you should have all this structures in the Task Data of this Task.
Hope this help

Just a beginner here first log in. Question is what do I do if I get an error message 5000 iF you progress you loose every thing - was trying to download IOS 6 onto my iPhone 4 and got to the very end when it ways processing file. Thank you
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.
