Error running an interactive form example
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to run a basic AIF scenario on a local machine.
I created a web dynypro example according to the Guide "How to Create Online and Offline Forms in Web Dynpro".
I configured the Adobe Document Services and my credential as described in the ADS Configuration Guide.
What I get when I deploy the example in the NW Developer Studio is the follwing error message:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Processing exception during a "Render" operation.

Hi Olaf,
if you are absolutely certain that you have configured the ADS correctly and have looked at the ADS troubleshooting documentation in the SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/c2/42c437004b4d74bd74100d327a3354/frameset.htm and still get the error, please create a customer message on component BC-SRV-FP.
Best regards,
Markus

- I went through the ADS Configuration Guide. All settings are done.
- The test on Java Stack works: http://server:port/AdobeDocumentServices/Config
We're on SP 10 with NW2004s(NW7.0).
Best regards,
OlafAjay,
You was right to some extent...We have started the ADS Web service.
Now, We have a different error mentioned below,
<b>The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Failed to create a Data Manager. Please ensure that the Document Services Data Manager service is running: com.adobe.FailedCreationException

at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.task.WebDynproMainTask.execute(WebDynproMainTask.java:649)
</b>
although we have restarted Data Manager Service, the exception remained...
What may be the reason??
I have already awarded you...

Scripting error when opening Interactive Form
Hi all,
I'm experimenting with adobe interactive forms (in web dynpro), but things aren't going as expected. I'm getting scripting errors when clicking (in Internet Explorer) on a link that opens a view with an interactive form. Please see below for details.
I've found a similar error description /thread/80059 [original link is broken], but the context is different. It seems to be related to namespaces, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

if (SSR.showInfo){ <<SNIP>> }Hello Jeroen and welcome to the SDN!
It seems like an error in the WebDynpro-part, not in the Adobe forms-part. Please check if all your elements (views, windows, controllers, etc.) are in valid namespaces.
Could you try to create an application for the WebDynpro-project in the NDS, and try to <i>deploy new archive and run </i>? Does this work?
Perhaps you could even copy the project, and replace the Adobe Inter Form element by a static text, to test if it is in the WebDynpro part or that it really has something to do with the Adobe.
Good luck,

Can somebody suggest me about what could be the problem?... Points assured for helpfull answers.
Regards,
UmaHi Uma,
SP 14 should normally be OK, SP 15 is currently attached to the Note. They are downward compatible. I suggested reinstalling after properly uninstalling, because it has fixed problems before.
I also looked at your original post again, which mentions the read time-out. This may be related to a general server setting. See my suggestion in this thread:
SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out - Context Is Too Large
If all this doesn't help, you'll probably have to create a message on component BC-SRV-FP.
Kind regards,

Hi Experts,
I need to submit the data in the adobe interactive form to the R/3 using abap webdynpro.
But I don't know how to complete the submit code in the R/3 or the adobe form?
Action:
1. create a adobe interactive form (a_interactive_form)in the view of the WDA for abap.
2. create a adobe form (b_form)in the R/3 using sfp with a inputfield and submit button.
3. bind the b_form to the a_interactive_form, and bind the context to the b_form so that the data can be transfered to the b_form.
4. type code in the WDA for abap for setting data to the context.
5. active the WDA and run the WDA.
6. Type the inputfield "ssssss" in the adobe form and click the submit button.
now, the step 1 to 5 is ok. But I don't know how to complete the submit code in the R/3 or the adobe form so that the WDA may get the data "ssssss"?
Do you give some example or some hint for this problem ?
Thanks & Regards,

Error in updating Interactive form data
Hi Friends,
I have developed an interactive form using webdynpro ABAP, in the first view I have designed selection criteria based on the selection I am populating the table in second view. Few are editable fields and few are readonly fields.
Here I got the problem after editing the fields when I am trying to save the form it throwing an error that couldnu2019t find attribute But when I am trying to save the form without modifications there was no error.
I would be gratefull for your help!
The following error text was processed in the system CI1 : Could not find attribute ZDATE
The error occurred on the application server bomw045a_CI1_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
Thanks in advance. Is that possible there was the field ZDATE in your form interface/ context and now it is not? I guess some source has changed so the field in the form (binding to the not existing field) cannot be processed. Otto
