I have an evaluation license of the JDeveloper2.0 installed on my WindowsNT 4.0 workstation.
I seem to have a problem running my compiled jave code. After compiling the source code(.java file) when I try to run the same I get a message saying
"<FileName> not found in outpath classpath or sourcepath ".
What does this mean and how can I rectify it?

Your classpath tells Java run time where to look for the class files it needs. In JDeveloper the class path is set in your project properties. Select Project->Properties and check that the source and output paths correspond to your myprojects and myclasses directories.

NiseCfg library link errors - will not compile working code on replicate system

i have working software trying to install on a replicate system. it does not compile on the replicate system. the problem is nise, niseCfg link errors for example:
Undefined symbol: '_niseCfg_GetVirtualDeviceProperty@20' referenced in "TestSystem_Config.c"
originally it complained it couldn't find the nise.h and niseCfg.h header files. i copied the header and some other object and fp files (yeah, yeah, i know :-/ from my working system to the replicate system (in the NI/Shared/CVI directory path).
it then found the header file and prototypes but now the undefined link errors. i have nise.dll in my WIndows System directory.
Please help. what do i do to fix this? thanks!

The CVI IDE needs to know someway where to find the resources your program is using and this can be done in several ways. One of them is loading the instruments in the Instrument menu: this is valid if your instrument is used in only one project of yours or a few one. Another method, which is useful for insrtument you use intensively in all your projects, is to add them to the Library menu (option Customize...): this will make your libraries and FPs available for every project you are working on without need to explicitly add the instruments to the Instrument menu.
If you are using an instrument and you don't see it in the project it must be loaded in one of the ways I described before: you can check in the original system which method was used.

As a guess you are compiling it as C++. But it is written as C.

This is happening for most of the pupils and staff at our school and they are unable to complete their work.
This also happens on a fresh copy of windows and CS5.5 without any updates and also with all latest updates.
I have tried it on 32-bit and 64-bit CS5, Windows, Air and Java with the same error every time.
There are a small minority of users where this works fine for them with no issue.
I have tried re-setting user profiles.
I have tried a local admin and domain admin account with the same issue
I have noticed however that if the file is moved to the shared area it will compile. If it is on their documents area it will not compile. The users have full control in both locations. This is fine for staff but we are unable to give full control or modify access to the shared area for the pupil's
I have been through the online support section and it directed me to phone Adobe Customer care who informed me that all support has been discontinued for CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 and they will only support creative cloud.
Any ideas what to try next? There is no other information about this error and I cannot work out what is causing it.

Parse errors in ib_linux.h when I try to compile C code for GPIB in Linux.

Keep getting parse errors starting at line 63 of ib_linux.h when I try to compile C code linked
to the drivers. Using ver 0.6 driver, compiling using gcc name.c cib.o -o name, and I have
ugpib.h as an include in the c code. The Linux box currently has the 2.2 kernel running.
Any ideas?

Hello-
It shouldn't be necessary to compile by hand. After the 0.6 driver is untarred, there should be an INSTALL script to run. Be sure to "su" to have root permissions before running this script. It may also be necessary to "chmod" the INSTALL file before doing a "./INSTALL"

Errors compiling AS3 code - seeking advice please

I am trying to run this AS code from wonderfl.net:

I have downloaded the right files to ensure this works:

But when I compile the code in an AS3 project in Flash CS4, I get a tonne of errors shown in the image below.
I can't find much info on the wonderfl site, and the author is japanese, and I can't get through to his site to ask for advice.
Might the errors be because the code is for Flash Player 11?
I'm really keen to work on this code, but have hit a big brick wall.
Any help much appreciated.

The code creates the effect shown here:

It doesn't do anything "useful" - it's just a nice effect, where it loops through the letters in some text and generates a pretty swirly pattern for each one.
On the page above, click on the play button in the right-hand window, and that will run the SWF that is generated by the AS on the left hand side.
I guess it means that the AS on the left hand side isn't actually correct, since when running it in flash, it doesn't work.

Runtime error after successful compile and link with cl.exe

Finally, got the configuration for cl.exe and link.exe right and got a successful compile and link to produce a dll. Then ran the main method of my Java class. The main method calls the constructor, and loading the class runs the static block which loads the native dll. I get one of those error files of the type hs_err_pid4064.log. The file is as follows:

The dll I'm wrapping is C++ VC++ compiled.
Would like to know what I do to trouble-shoot this error and hope to fix it?

Using Java print statement was able to show that the my JNI dll was being loaded and that the problem was in the first call to one of my JNI functions. Then by using "DebugBreak()" in that function and gradually moving it down line by line through the function was able to isolate the line causing the problem. Unfortunately it is the line where I call a function from the dll I'm wrapping. See newer thread.

While releasing a PO an error showing PO cannot be released

While checking the PO release an error showing PO cannot be released is showing.The release button is not appearing from the first code itself

The following are the various reasons for the errormessgae.
1. PO would have already released.
2. PO would not have come under the perview of release u defined
3.You would not have authorization for release M_EINK_FRG object.
4.The charetarestcs defined will not come for this PO properties.
ETc.
Mostly , if all the config is setand done and working fine for other POs tooo then this PO iswith the problem.
Do you have this problem for other POs too with the same kind of PO?

I'm confronted with the following error of this code.

The exception appears only when the system gets high-load.
Is there work-arounds?
I've tried also with jdk1.5.0_06, but the same error occurred.
Converting the inner class to a top-level class has no effects.

Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1? More info would be helpful. 1.To enter the tax amounts of the G/L account items, choose Extras ® Tax amounts. The Tax Amounts screen appears.
You can branch to this screen at any point during document entry.
The Tax Amounts screen shows the tax amount, tax code, posting key, tax base amount, and jurisdiction code for all the items already entered. When you call up this screen after entering the G/L account items, it displays the amounts that have already been entered.
2.You can now choose how you want to enter the taxes.
The tax jurisdiction codes represent the different taxing authorities to which you submit payment for taxes EG: the state, county, city etc.
In SAP you can have as many as 4 levels. Configuration is done in 2 steps :
First step :
The tax jurisdiction structure (structure of the tax code) is set up with following menu path :
IMG >Financial accounting> Fi Accounting basic settings> tax on sales/purchases > basic settings > specify structure for tax jurisdiction code.
Alternatively you can use t-code OBCO
This step allows you the enter the character length of your various level of hierarchy within your tax jurisdiction code structure (State 2 char, county 3, city 4, etc...).
Second step:
You configure the tax jurisdiction code using the structure defined earlier, menu path :
