Error Starting OIM
Hi,
I have OIM 9101 successfully installed on WebLogic 10.3 with Oracle 10g (10.2.0.3.0) database on OEL 5.2. However, when i tried starting it using ./xlStartServer.sh command, I got following error:

Note: Installation was clean; didn't receive any error message.
I tried restarting database also but it didnt help me.

Try accessing the weblogic admin console and then see whether Xellearte application is deployed properly or not

the log is stop writting
Thanks.In a windows enviroment, you can't have the log files open and restart the server. It can't get a lock on it. Find out who has your server logs open and close them.

If you have used the SAXParserFactory.newSAXParser() method to get a parser, the documentation for this method says "Creates a new instance of a SAXParser using the currently configured factory parameters.".
So you might get a different parser in a different environment.

Earlier before patching to BP02 in weblogic Datasources we have
Driver Class Name: oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource
But when I was providing this value in weblogic.profile during patching attribute name "operationsDB.driver=oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource ", I am getting this error
/data/oim/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/setup/deploy-files/setup.xml:204: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource cannot be cast to java.sql.Driver
So I changed this value to "operationsDB.driver=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" and it runs fine. Patch completed successfully.
Is there any issue with this Driver Class Name mismatch, so I am getting this error? I have also tried for all Datasources same Driver Class Name but invain.

Nothing is changed between network/firewall. From Database machine I am able to see tnsping running fine. From weblogic admin console I have checked the connectivity of different datasource is successfull. Right now I have these datasources, all have Driver Class Name=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver.

2) Run RCU and create Schema for PS1
3) Install Weblogic Server 10.3.6
4) Install SOA Server 11.1.1.6 and Install SOA patches
5) Install IDM Server 11.1.1.2.1
6) Create Domains
7) Configure Security Store Python Script
8) Start both Admin server and SOA server (in 11g R2 SOA server is not required ) but in PS1 it is required to start SOA server before configuring domain.
9) Configure OIM and Design Console
10) Start OIM managed servers

The path which is shown above[home/labuser/Oracle/Middleware/] is not the correct path of my OIM installation & i dont know why it is going on this wrong path.
I also tried to delete tmp folder from <mydomain>/servers/AdminServer/ , but it didn't work.
Same error is also thrown when i start OIM server.

Problem in starting OIM after moving it to isolated n/w and configuring AD
We have moved the machine where OIM was installed to an isolated n/w and then configured Active Directory on it.
But now we are unable to start OIM on it.
We are getting an error, Network adapter could not establish the connection.
Since the IP address of the machine has changed to 10.66.184.170, we have made the required changes in OIM_HOME\xellerate\config\xlconfig.xml file of OIM.
And JBOSS_HOME\server\default\deploy\xell-ds.xml file of JBoss.
Any pointers to the issue would be helpful.Have you done any changes in Weblogic Admin Console ?
Login into Weblogic Console and see what it shows for "Undo All Changes" and "Activate Changes" button.
If "Activate Changes" in enabled then click on that and try to restart. -

restart oim server. If you find issue. login to weblogic console->goto Services->datasouce->click on the available datasource -> click connection pool -> increase the max pool size. even check the connection using monitoring tab->testing
