Hello
We will move this thread to the SAP on Windows forum as this is not a PI technical issue (upgrade issue). Hopefully you will get a better response on that forum.

  • REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is INCLUDE error upgrade.

    Hi Experts,
I have done the recording for FK05 and created functionmodule for the same. But when I use that function module in my custom program or if I try directly execute the FM, I am getting dump like syntax error. So I did syntax check and tried to activate, I am getting "REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is INCLUDE error upgrade" error.
Please help me soon to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Goto main function group include name attributes tab and double click.
once the include is opened, try to activate it. if shows errors then fix.
    regards

  • Server 2012 In-place upgrade to 2012 R2 error. Error upgrading: Setup can't continue. Restart the computer and restart Setup. When prompted, try getting the latest updates

Trying to upgrade server 2012 with RDS role on it, to server 2012 R2.
It stays for a while on step "Collecting files, settings, and applications 0%"
    and then returns the error:
Error upgrading: Setup can't continue. Restart the computer and restart Setup. When prompted, try getting the latest update
Installed all the latest updates, rebooted, also tried to to run setup with local admin, still the same.
Setup logs contain user profile related errors:

I was able to get past "Collecting files, settings, and applications 0%" by disabling user profile disks, but then on reboot I got another error:
Setup can't continue. Your computer will now restart, and your previous version of Windows will be restored.

I believe you are getting the error in Step No 6 . For the corresponding already existing Work repository you would need to provide the new database so that UA can use that to copy the settings .

  • Upgrading from XI/PI7.0 to 7.1 having problems with message mapping

    Hello,
We are in the process over the past week of testing our XI/PI functionality after upgrading our 7.0 XI/PI environment to PI7.1; in particular several maps that were accessible in 7.0 will not open or diaplay in 7.1 complaining of a missing node in the mapping structure. Currently working with SAP on a possible fix but wanted to know if anyone else has done a true migration on top of an existing XI/PI7.0 system and experiencing similar issues (note: the maps can execute in the runtime environment but we can't display the maps source within message mapping; this also does not occur for all maps and there is no clear consistant theme to those that can be displayed and those that can't).
The lattest issue just encountered related to message mapping is that in test mode of a map (that can be displayed) attempting to display the data queue for the mapped elements are blank no data being displayed giving an error noting that the source text of object message mapping: name of the map; has syntax errors, java area import line x, package ibm.com.xi.mapping does not exist/ import ibm.com.xi.mapping UDF:
Has anyone upgraded from PI7.0 to 7.1 and experienced errors with existing maps that worked ok (ans still work in our QX/PRD systems) in their 7.0 envirinment but encountereing strange errors once upgrated to 7.1?
    Thanks
    Dereck Purnell
    NewellRubbermaid

Here is the solution we received from SAP to address the issue, there were several mapping related issues we started havng from maps that worked in our 7.0 system prior to the upgrade to PI 7.1. I will try to encorporate the solutions in this response.
    a) From Customer to SAP
    1. We are unable to open some massage mapping, it is throwing
    exception
    2. Number Format functions throw exception.
But following issue is still unresolved:
    3. When we display message queue, it throws exception

We discovered another issue with mapping.
For some of the mappings, we are unable to display mapping queue. When
we execute, Interface mapping and Massage mapping, it works fine. But
display queue throws exception. Itu2019s not able to recognize libraries
    used from dependent software component.
Please find document "Display Mapping Queue Issue" providing example
    problem.
    25.02.2009 - 07:05:28 CET - *Reply by SAP*
Thank you for your update. I wanted to check with "CopyValue"
function's index. It has to take an input integer and the problem that
found while debugging the opening of your mapping is that the input
was empty thus causing the exception.
I was going to suggest the intended use of "CopyValue" function.
When the input to "copyValue" is a constant, "copyValue" is totally
not necessary. Thus constant can be directly mapped to other function.
When the input is a node with values in context, you can treat one of
values say input[0] to used in mapping by using CopyValue[0].
But please make sure that input[0] will always produce a value.
Note 877964 will describe in detail on Copyvalue usage.
I am marking this Message as complete. Please confirm.

  • Please guide me how to install and upgrade ECC6.0 PI7.0 to PI7.1

    SAP Guru's
Please help me as i am confused about PI7.1.
In ECC6.0 SAP PI7.0 server is builtin and no need to install PI seperately like XI3.0 but i want to know how do i upgrade that ECC6.0 PI7.0 builtin server to PI7.1, what are the steps i need to follow.
Is there any other specific DVD for PI7.1 installation or upgrading.
Can i update ECC6.0 PI7.0 with EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 - Preview Version, If yes then how as i download this from sdn.
Finally can somebody also tell me from where i will get the PI7.1 IDES dvd or software except sdn as it is no more avaliable in SDN now.

  • Migration from XI3.0 PI7.0

    Hello all,
How do I migrate users from XI3.0 to PI7.0? We are thinking about moving users from Xi3.0 to PI 7.0 and start using PI7.0. Also, all the objects from IR, ID, SLD need to be moved.
Can you please tell me how?
    Regards,
    N.S

The more clean solution is to "clone" the esisting XI 3.0 with following the document <a href="http://help.sap.com/bp_bpmv130/Documentation/Operation/SystemContentCopy.pdf">SAP NetWeaver 04 System Content Cosy Guide</a> than upgrade the system to PI 7.0 with the standard upgrade procudure.
In this way you will find all the contentes, all the users and all the settings avoiding the need of transports
    The other solution could be:
    1) cleate the PI7.0 system in the old SLD.
    2) set the transport targhts of all business system for the new PI7.0
    3) export from old and import into new SLD the SLD content
    4) export from XI30 and import into PI7.0 the Repository Content
    5) export from XI30 and import into PI7.0 the Directory Content
    Regards, and Happy New Year

  • PL/SQL errors upgrading from 8i to 10g

I have a number of packages and functions that were created before my time on oracle 8i that work great there, however I am trying to upgrade the database to Oracle 10G and most all of the packages and functions are now invalid.

    Hi,
you need to grant rights from the owner of the table to the user who ownes the package. In 10g some roles have less rights, so this lost the user rights on the table. So start to make a grant select and insert on the table:
grant select, insert on preship to TBORGESON;See if this helps and get more compiled packages.

        System Response
The system created a job log for the terminated program.
        What to do
          Proceed as follows:
Log onto the system in which the program was executed. The system is
specified at the beginning of the transport log.
Then call transaction SM37 to display the job log.
Enter "&V#&" as job name and "DDIC" as user name.
Restrict the starting date to the starting date specified in the
          transport log.
For the other selection criteria, select only jobs with the status
          "cancelled". Then press <LS>Execute</>.
A list of the jobs satisfying the selection criteria is displayed.
You can display the log by pressing <LS>Job log</>.
If the list contains several jobs, you can select the job with the ID "
          &V#&" with <LS>Display</> -> <LS>Job details</> or define further
details for the selection criteria in the initial screen of transaction
          SM37.
If the ABAP processor reports cancellation, double-clicking on the
corresponding message in the job log branches to the display of the
          corresponding short dump.

Most XPRA reports have a report documentation that explains what

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSCPRPR" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program "%_CSCPR " in include "%_CSCPR "
    in
    line 17:
"The type name "SCPR_FLDV_TAB" is ambiguous, since it is also defined i"

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSCPRPR" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "%_CSCPR ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
    administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
The following syntax error was found in the program %_CSCPR :
"The type name "SCPR_FLDV_TAB" is ambiguous, since it is also defined i"
    "n the Dictionary . control structure introduced with "CLASS" . . . . ."
    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
    1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
    (Unconverted)".
    2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
    (Unconverted)".
    3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
    In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
    Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

I am trying to upgrade the schema for WL/Portal 9.2 from 8.1SP4 using the scripts supplied from BEA using the BEA DB2 driver.
-mikeHi. You may need to consult your DB2 DBA. This is just the driver reporting that
it's processing failed at the DBMS because of hitting a DBMS resource limit on
    memory.

  • Multiple errors upgrading from snow leopard to mountain lion

While attempting to upgrade on an early 2008 Mac Pro, I received the "could not create recovery disk" error on install and had to abort the upgrade. I found online a suggestion of decreasing the size if the main partition (I have no other partitions on the system drive) by a little so that 10.8 can create the recovery drive. When I went I do this it started the process then gave me the error that "I need a newer version of OS X" to complete the task.
    I can't create the partition 10.8 needs because I don't have 10.8?
I desperately need a workaround. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I can offer more details if needed. I do know that the system drive is not a RAID volume, and apples page concerning this error didn't seem to apply to doing an upgrade like this.
    Thanks all for your help!!

I followed these steps.  install gave me the same errors.  as far as creating a recovery system goes, since im in snow leopard, i could only intall mountain lion on an external drive.  im not sure that really fulfilled the requirements of creating the recovery hd i needed, coulndt find instructions on simply creating a recovery HD on an eternal disk.  i did also notice that my internal mac HD system drive is HSF+, or so it appears.  could that be the trouble all along?
EDIT: Just reconfirmed as Macintosh HD - Mac OS Extended journaled), so scratch that.  i guess im just having trouble "creating a recovery HD"  i cannot get the recovery assistant app, because im on snow leopard

  • Error Upgrading ADF App to 12c

I have a relatively new ADF application I'm working on.  I started in JDeveloper 11g R2, 11.1.2.4.0.  Everything works fine in 11g and with the recent release of JDeveloper 12c, we figured since this isn't a production app yet, we might as well upgrade.  So I opened my workspace in JDeveloper 12c, 12.1.2.0.0, and on opening the project it went through the project migration wizard, which ran without problems.  The problem is when trying to run my app, I get a deployment error.  I've tried running the application by right clicking on my main jspx and choosing "Run" (which is how I've always run locally), and also by choosing Application - Deploy - to InegratedWebLogicServer.
Here is the error I am getting on Deploy:

Hello Timo, thanks for your response!  Apologies for my delayed response, I started a vacation shortly after my last post.
I have compared my libraries in my app to the libraries in my sample app.  My app has all the same libraries plus the following libraries:
    ADF Common Web Runtime
    Oracle Page Templates
    JPS Designtime
    Oracle Extended Page Templates
    ADF Model Runtime
    ADF Faces Databinding Runtime
Because of this, I suspect the problem I'm having is related to removing prefer-web-inf-classes from my weblogic.xml file.  Is there something new which is set in 12c which would cause this error that does not cause it in 11g?  I do not explicitly set prefer-application-resources or prefer-application-packages anywhere and I can not find those settings when I search my project for those strings.  Here is the error when I add prefer-web-inf-classes back into my weblogic.xml file:

    Alex,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I did a whole lot of things. I cleaned up the work directory in weblogic. Also, I did upgrade using the supplied scripts (upgradeto71from60.oracle). When I turned on the trace, this is the exact stack trace from the logs ( see below). Will installing the 7.1 Update 1 help? Right now I am at 7.1 without any updates. Also, I cant access the link for Update 1 Patch 10. Can you please point me to the download area...thanks!
