Error uploading textbook to Apple store
I have a problem uploading my textbook I created with the iBook creator... whenever I use iTunes producer I get given this error message
ERROR ITMS-4064: "Unsupported extension 'PNG' for artwork asset type." at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)
I tried converting all the images to .jpeg and it isn't working... what do I do?
Sorry to be unclear. I meant that I opend png in PS and exported it as a jpg. Deleted the png from "images" folder, replaced it with exported jpg.
File Information shows it as and "Adobe Photoshop JPEG file," the same as the other 201 files in the ePub.
I also changed all references in content.opf and xhtml files.
But it still wasn't accepted.

I am planning to sell the same app to several customer ( clothing shop owners ) and I wonder if there is any kind of limitation on the number of apps a developer can upload to the apple store.
Do you think there will be any problem because the app is the same? ....note: The apps is almost the same but it getsdifferent info ( products, prices...etc ) from the server part.

I will upload apps for small business , same skeleton and functionality but different details, pictures, logos...etc which change. Every of my clients should have the right to have its own store on appleStore , shouldn´t they? It makes sense to me...It may not make it to Apple.

Unable for Apple Store to upload IPhoto album due to "error occured unloading order"
Trying to order IPhot album. When Apple store tries to upload picture I get message "error occured uploading order".
What version of iPhoto? Of the OS?
Are you speaking of a photo book? (an album is an iPhoto organizational element) If so will it preview correctly?
Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
If it does and you still can not purchase it boot into safe mode and try

What is the problem with IPhoto ´11 when I am uploading a photobook to apple store, there is always an error. Anyone ???
evrything is right wite my appleID.First try to create a pdf file of the book as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it.
If you are unsuccessful in creating the pdf file then boot into Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode and try again. If that works you can continue and order the book while in Safe Mode.
Be sure to keep the pdf file of the book to compare with the printed copy when it arrives.

Cann't upload my app to apple store
I am using xcode to upload my app to apple store, but failed. In the organizer, I press the validate ... button,this step is very successful and it has been validated.but I pressed the distribute ... button and next button,after a while, it pops up "An error occurred uploading to the iTunes Store".so I open the terminal and type "tail-f / var / log / system.log".It shows that:

Strikes -
Go into compositionReady and have 3 variables you will be able to set them like this
strike1 = 0;
strike2 = 0;
strike3 = 0;
So on the wrong item click have
if(strike1 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE1 ANIMATION
strike1 = 1;
else if(strike2 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE2 ANIMATION
strike2 = 1;
else if(strike3 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE2 ANIMATION
strike3 = 1;
So this will make it so when the wrong item is clicked each strike will be played in order.
Random Scrolling -
You should look into the Math.Random function to make things random in edge.
This is an example of the Random function. It will generate a random number up to 100.
var random = Math.floor (Math.random () * 100);
Lose Screen Score -
So we can create another variable in compositionReady for the lose score.
score = 0;
Now when the user gains a point to add to the score you could do this code on the click
score++;
which would add 1 to the score, However you can add however much you like to the score doing "score + 2" and so on.
To edit a text with the score at the end which I'm assuming you will want to do you will use .html
so $("Text").html("You score is " + score);

The iOS5 erased all my apps. Went to get them back and only part of it was recognized by Apple store. The others the store prompts to pay. I tried to go back to the old system and restore but as it was in sync an error ocurred and now I don´t have even the operating system. It won´t rebbot. I am afraid it will not stop searching the booting system until batery is dead and it will take many hours.
Any chance somenone ran into the same problem that could help?The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ... -

after unlocking over the phone from ATT and resetting iphone 3gs I keep getting the same error message "could not activate phone" neither Apple Store Tech or ATT were able to fix this .
Itunes displays a message saying "there is no SIM installed in the phone you're trying to activate" even if there is the same SIM that was working minutes before.
The SIM works on a different phone I tested it.

Well it’s going on day 6 and still sporadic to no EDGE on my iPhone. At one time, it was thought to be a defective iPhone – since my partner’s iPhone works just fine.
After over three hours on the land line with AT&T and Apple, I was sent to the local Apple store for a replacement. Of course, as soon as I walked into the Apple store my iPhone worked just fine. ;-( The local store replaced my iPhone and suggested I go home and activate the phone as a NEW iPhone, that way if there was a bug in my data it would not carry over to the new phone. Did that and well… still sporadic to no EDGE. By the way, I have the Big White “E” to the right of the 5 bars and AT&T .
AT&T said last week they has “Software” issues in my area, but the CSR I talked to did not know what the issues were or if they were the cause of my problems. He did say they would call me back today to see how my iPhone was doing, but alas, no call back.
When I’m next to my partner, trying to access the same feature, his iPhone is just so fast. Mine hangs up, draws out and finally I get the error message, “Could Not Activate EDGE”. I am updated to version “1.1.4(4A102)”. New (refurbished) iPhone direct from Apple.
I remember reading a while back about some problems others had when they upgraded to from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4. I never had those problems, but it sure looks like they may have started. Does anyone remember what the problems with 1.1.4 were, what was done if anything to correct them, and best of all any suggestions?
By the way, this is Seattle, not some small – out of the way place where connection and signal strength is expected to be second rate. Also, I had full function of my iPhone from the day I bought it in June 2007, all the way up to Thursday March 20, at 2120.

Error while using apple store app for purchase
Hi,
I was using an apple store apps to make the purchase at irvine spacktrum apple store, I bought a PNY USB Flash Drive 8GB using the apps to make the payment. Some how it was giving me errors when the apps asked my 3 digits credit card security number, so I call the sales rep at the store, he saw the same error and he said there might be error issue with the server, so I gave him the PNY for the purchase, he scaned it with his sales device and swiped my credit card.
But just now I look at my Wells Fargo account and I'm seeing 5 of the same transections but then I only make ,1 purchase.
I wish you could fix this issue with my bank, or I will dispute the 4 transaction with the reason of multiple charge over a purchase.
I wish the apple store app can be fix, if there is an error do not takes somebody's money, that way people will trust the app to make the purchase in store.

Buddy LiemI've also been trying this for several hours. I get to the point of choosing between the 16GB and 32 GB phones (so, after it has validated my eligibility with at&t and determined the correct pricing) and it just displays a pop-up that says "Error" (no further explanation). Color me completely unimpressed.

Try redownloading the app directly to the iPod by:
]Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
It may be that iTunes is not signed into the account that purchased the app or that the computer is not authorized for that account.

Where did my music go? I subscribed to aPPLE'S Cloud and uploaded a nice sized library consisting of Apple Store purchases, CD's I downloaded over a period of years, and some MP3 trax purchased from Amazon. Now, only a few of my songs appear in iTunes. There is no help that I can find not requiring the time and effort of a PhD candidate to research. I'm looking for a quick answer -- is the Apple Cloud a fraud and I should get out of it, or am I a dummie because there is a quick and easy fix?
