Error upon submitting form (SWF/Flex)

I often get this error upon submitting a SWF(Flex) LC form.  The workflow proceeds just fine, but it acts like Workspace is having an issue cleaning up.  Does anyone have any experience with what this is?

  delete form_data.Role.Rejected;
  lcConnector.setSubmitData(form_data);

No, I don't.  It's intermittent.  I thought it perhaps happened when I threw up a <mx:Box> just before data submission to let them know the data was being submitted, but that's not it.
My fear is there is something I am leaving hanging, but there isn’t enough documentation on writing Flex forms for LC to really know what that might be.
I can't imagine what would be trying to talk to the task after the form has been closed.

  • Symbol error when submitting form

    experiencing a symbol error when submitting form.

    Hi Gen,
    Unfortunately, the error came from a client who was submitting a form via Mac OS.  He stated that when he attempted to submit he received a symbol error.
    On another note, I did experience issues with periods (.) within another form such as 2009.01 and 2011.25.  When I downloaded the files corresponding to the numbers, it wouldn’t allow me to save it with the period (used an underscore instead).

  • Numeric or value error when submitting form

    I have a form based of a stored procedure. The form has about 20 fields on it. For some reason the form only allows data entry on only about 10 of them. If I put data in any of the other 10, I get: "An unexpected error occurred: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error (WWV-16016)"
    I have looked everywhere to see what's going on. I checked the procedure to make sure its parameters are good. It takes takes all VARCHAR2's, so thats OK. I checked the fields in the form editor for validation, and none are being validated, so thats OK. I made sure all the fields are updatable and they are. I even checked the table to make sure that the data can go into the fields, even though I know that the error returned there would be through the procedure, not Portal. I am stumped. What am I missing?
    Rich

    Follow Up: While troubleshooting this, I filled in all the fields with one character each and the form submitted. I added characters little by little to each field until I got the error. It seems like Portal has a problem when I pass X amount of characters from a form. I say "Portal" because I thought this might be an OS parameter, but I get the same error in both Win2000 and Solaris.
    Any ideas where this setting is? Or how to change it?

  • Error upon submitting a job

    Authentication error message appears whenever any job is submitted. Notice, I have set the preferred credentials in the Oracle Enterprise Manager to be system/manager. Any suggestion on how to sucessfully run a Back up or Load job.

    do as follows
    Start->programs->administrative tools->user manager for domains
    In the user manager windows select Policies->user rights
    in the user rights window, you can give the NT privileges to users. you will need to check the checkbox at the bottom of the windo w which says show advanced user rights.

  • Error when submitting form to PHP server

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to submit a PDF file (as a whole, not just the data) to a PHP server. It works as far as the file being delivered and saved, but in Acrobat I keep getting an error message at the end of the process, saying: "No Input File Page Data".
    I tried doing some research online and it seems to be related to the return value sent by the server to Acrobat, but I can't seem to get it to function properly.
    We've tried using header('HTTP/1.1 204 No Content'); as the response, but it doesn't seem to help, either.
    Any ideas would be much appreciated...

    The No Content approach should work. Can you show the exact code you're using to generate the response? Did you add "#FDF" to the end of the URL for the submit form action?
    If you haven't looked into it already, consider returning an FDF that causes a popup dialog to display as a way of providing feedback.

  • Error on Submitting Form, that is AJAX-loaded with $.post()

    Hi guys!
    On this Sample Page I am loading an APEX form from another page into an area with
    function loadForm(){
        var url = 'f?p=&APP_ID.:271:&APP_SESSION.::::';
        url += 'P271_CITID:'+ $v('P270_SELCITY');
        url += ' .rc-body';
        $('#loaddiv .nice-region-body').load(url);
    with click on the button.
    I am getting an error then, because I am probably overriding some important APEX-functionalities. Is there a way to get around it? Should I change the page templates, so that the form-tags from the other page are loaded also, but then I should not have a form on the page, I am loading to.
    (Apex-Version is 4.2)
    Thanks for any help.
    Best regards,
    Tobi
    Edit: What I am actually aiming for is having a report on that first page, and load different forms depending on a selection in a context menu, that shows up when the user right-clicks a record on the report. Each form should then appear in a modal dialog.
    I could also load the form - not into a region on the first page - but into a seperate modal window, but that would make the whole app a but clumsy.

    what the hell happened to the editor here? Formaly you could use {code}...{code}

    Hi jrimblas!
    Thanks for your suggestions and for the link!
    I tried out that plugin, but it seem to me to be just too overloaded. I like to keep things simple. Also I would like (without too much of configuration) provide to the user the ability to open different dialogs simultaniously.
    So I also tried just using a simple <iframe> tag - just by adding the html with that tag to a div.
    But there I am getting an error while loading the page:
    Load denied by X-Frame-Options: ......(url) does not permit framing.
    ... some security issue.
    I can however load an apex-page into an iframe on another page, that is not hosted on apex server, also I can open a page from another server in an iframe in an APEX page. But not one into the other (apex into apex).
    I have done some research and looked closely at the skybuilders documentation and example, but I coudn't figure it out. I also tried changing the security setting on the page, but it was all unrestricted and public anyway.
    I read, that you must declare a http-option like: X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN, but I think, skybuilders did it some other way.
    Is there still a way I can fix that?
    Thanks very much,
    best regards,
    Tobi

  • Getting "HTTP 400 Bad Request" error when submitting form

    I am using APEX 3.1.2. I have a form based on a table. The form contains check boxes, a multiple select item, some text items and some text boxes with HTML editors. It had been working properly but now is giving me the dreaded "The web page can not be found..." error page as soon as I click create when in create mode or the update or the delete button when editing a row of data. The URL in the address area of the browser is: "http://ndhoast.tsh.mis.mckesson.com:7778/pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept" and the tab says "HTTP 400 Bad Request".
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Do you have any extra Javascript components added in? We've been doing work with ExtJS and Oracle Apex, and I've noticed that on one particular page there is a bad request thrown when a doSubmit() is called. When the Javascript is commented out, the page works fine.

    I too am having the same issue. My process is also very simple, and I can't seem to find where I could have made a mistake.
    I googled the error and found only one or two possible solutions that involved changing my data source. I don't think that is exactly the solution to either of our problems. It seems a bit complex for such simple workflows.

    Not based on the minimal information provided.
    Error messages in 11g, from a UI standpoint, are severely deficient. How about looking in the content server logs and posting some more information?

    Error submitting form for Distribution:

    Tried removing dashes from filename, shortenign filename, moving to root directory. No changes. File ends with a .pdf extension.
    This is my first attempt to distribute via acrobat.com

    I found that I got that same message using Acrobat Professional to send out a document for shared review.  I had an exclamation mark in the title of the PDF. When I took out the exclamation mark, it worked.
    So maybe try taking out anything "unusual" (parentheses, dashes, exclamation marks, etc.) in the file name and see if that helps.
    Good luck,

    OracleJSP error: java.io.FileNotFoundException:

    I am guessing it has something to do with the generated ADF task flow?

    That's it. The form accepts the data entry (I confirmed this previously by adding a file writer). It just generates the error in the form's pop-up window.

    Below is the file Empty1.jspx that you need -- (put it into public_html). No idea why it is needed, but removing it from the unbounded flow does not work. Hope this helps others.

    Have you compiled the form against the same version of database and PL/SQL libraries as the ones you use in the runtime environment? Have you compiled the form in Form Builder? If so, try opening the form, hit Ctrl-Shift-K twice (!), then Ctrl-S, and only then Ctrl-T.
    Do you start the form from another form? If so, has this calling form been compiled against the same environment?
