Error using tag cfhtmlhead

I have a page referring to itself. The code is trying to go
to an anchor on the page.
Please check the syntax in my code which uses the cfhtmlhead
tag. Note it has two pound symbols in a row, like this ##

When I remove one of the two pound symbols, the page compiles
and the url shows as it should EXCEPT there is no pound symbol
before the page anchor ref. Example:
http://dev.gmlfc.com/communityLifeDebug/DspParticipantList.cfm840
Of course there SHOULD be a hash before the 840!
840 is the dynamic anchor I'm trying to jump to on the same
page.
But when I put the double pound back in (and this has worked
in other aps I've written) I get an "invalid CFML construct" CF
complaining: ColdFusion was looking at the following text: >

This may not solve your problem, but WL8.1 SP1 seems to have a problem with
          closing tags.
          Where you are using:
          <randME:number id="random1" range="10000000-99999999"/>
          ...try this instead:
          <randME:number id="random1" range="10000000-99999999"></randME:number>
          This problem is fixed in SP2.

Previously my web app was running fine using eclipse 3.1
When I upgraded my eclipse to 3.2 then built the same web app and deployed, upon running the url i got error

Creating chart leads in XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: /svg

Hello ALL,
I searched this forum but unfortunately I find not a solution for the following use case:
described in steps
1.) create a region with chart (typ = line) -> o.k.
2.) create a sql statement to have data in the chart -> o.k.
3.) running report with this created region and chart -> vizualisation o.k.
3.) create a data picker item ":P21_END_DATE"
4.) replaced the where clause "WHERE a_timestamp >= To_date ('01.02.2007', 'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI') -1/24" with WHERE a_timestamp >= To_date (:P21_END_DATE, 'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI') -1/24
5.) running report with this created region and chart and data picker item -> vizualisation not o.k. I get the attached error message.
I read already in the forum and knows that the end tag of the svg section is lost put I only changed in my query the described value. Does any body can help me please ??

Design view of jspx not rendering : Error exercising tag : afh:head

I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 and I have an intermittent problem where by the jspx does not render correctly in design view - it just shows a whole load of nested boxes.
By following a suggestion from another website I turned on "Design time messages in log" in jdeveloper JSP visual editor preferences.
The error messages being sent to the log window are :

Sorry, intermittent problem is not very descriptive ! What I actually meant is that some of my applications have the problem while others dont. Once the problem exists, it always does regardless of restarting JDeveloper.
Starting JDeveloper using the console provided similar error message to outputting the JSP visual editor to the log file :

Reading other posts, problems seemed to stem from errors within the faces-config or web.xml files so I compared them between apps displaying pages correctly and ones that weren't. I found a difference in the filter-mapping section of the web.xml. Changing the entries to match the applications that displayed correctly has worked !!

While I don't like blindly making changes like this to the web.xml - the application still seems to function !

I just encountered an error using the BPEL console in one of our test environments. I got the error when I clicked 'Manage BPEL Domain' and then clicked the 'Threads' tab. I also get the error when I click the 'Statistics' tab. Other tabs are OK, 'Configuration', 'Logging', 'Adapter Stats'.
Note that this is happening on one test server, other dev/test servers are OK.

I am working on JDeveloper 9i. I have a problem that i use JSP page and two tag[b] fmt and core. The uri passed to taglib is http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core and http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/fmt. i also have two jar file standard.jar and jstl.jar. when i compile the jsp page, the errors reflect " TAG is not registered". Can any one tell me that how can i use the tags in a jsp page in jdeveloper 9i.

What's on lines 1-7 of that file?
That code compiles fine for me on CF8 & CF9, so that's not where the error is.
You're not trying to compile it on any earlier version of CF than CF8 are you? The < and ++ operators are not valid prior to CF8. CFMX7 might see the < as a stray angle bracket, and get confused. I don't have CFMX7 running here to test the exact error that would produce, sorry.

Problems with JSP - using tag library with Weblogic 8.1

I am getting the following error when I try to run a web application called "regain":
/searchinput.jsp(2): Error in using tag library uri='regain-search.tld' prefix='search': cannot find tag class: 'net.sf.regain.ui.server.taglib.MsgTag'
probably occurred due to an error in /searchinput.jsp line 2:
<%@taglib uri="regain-search.tld" prefix="search" %>
The classes that the .tld file points to are in the web applications WEB-INF/classes directory and I have put this path into my classpath environment variable (running Windows 2000 Server).
This application runs fine on Tomcat.
I can't not figure out whether is error is masking another error or what. I've tried using JDK and Jrockit for my web app - no luck.

Struts2 and Tiles2 - Error executing tag: Attribute 'title' not found.

I keep getting Error executing tag: Attribute 'title' not found when I go to the baseLayout.jsp page. I am figuring it is not seeing the tiles.xml file, but I have placed it in the /WEB-INF directory like every web page I have found says too. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

I made sure I had the same jar versions. I still get the same exception in the Browser, but I get a few more log messages in the tomcat log;

Hello,
I've installed WLCS on WinNT with WebLogic Server 5.1.0 and when I want to
edit example portlets, I get following error:
"Error in tag library at 'wl': For tag 'repeat', cannot load extra info
class 'weblogic.jsp.tags.RepeatTagInfo'".
I have't installed any WLCS service packs yet - are they necessary to run
the examples?

Now its running perfectly when its with the same database along which the wlcs is
shipped i.e, cloudscape. But when i swithched the db to oracle i get the same error

Attribute validation error for tag CFQUERY

I have a CF application that's running fine on a shared host. I now have a VPS running version of CF 9. When I try to use this on the VPS, I get the following error:
Attribute validation error for tag CFQUERY.
The value of the attribute datasource, which is currently '', is invalid.
The datasource is being set in application.cfc, and again works just fine in the shared environment.
The only differences is the shared is running on Windows, and the VPS is Linux. Also, the Windows is running version 9,0,1,274733 and the Linux is 9,0,0,251028
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is a mistake. The error message should tell you where that occurs.

About screen flow (using tag library)

dear all, i have the following problem...
according to the sample about using tag library to make the screen flow of jsp pages, i successfully construct the tag for showing pages as needing. it works ok but when the number of pages exceeds 29, an exception arrises:
Exception:
java.lang.VerifyError: jsp_eventmanager_html.template
in which template is the jsp page for the tags... i do try to set the size of the buffer but it does no help.
can anyone help me solve this problem? thanks in advance...

Bolding rows in RTF template using tags

In an rtf template, is there a way to bold an entire row in the table using tags rather than building two rows (one bold, one unbold) and put them in a if condition?
